Good pace on the video. I have this kit but have not opened it, so I was glad to see inside. When you trimmed between engine and transmission, I think that may have caused mounting holes problem.
That does sound possible, it did make the whole assembly a bit too "short"

did you clear coat all your parts? I see no fingerprints or smearing of paint
I do not use clear coat, I did a few times in the past but the paint would bubble and ruin the model.

I like to use Tamiya brand supplies for the glue and paint, can't go wrong with them! This is a great hobby! Hope you enjoy it!

I love the Monte Carlo building I like how you just left the details and stuff alone and the paint job is good but it kind of looks like some of mine which when you get old it's very hard to have a steady hand I'm glad you just showed it and natural rather than most videos that look like it was painted by a professional painter good job looking forward to many more videos of yours please do some more of the building once you have fun to watch
