He has John's sense of humor but he has Cynthia's sweetness.
He is absolutely adorable.

Julian is a true inspiration- he has overcome so many things and through it all remained down to earth and forgiving
Julian seems like such a sweet guy.

John said if he died before Julian he would send proof of the afterlife and that he was still watching over him by floating a white feather across the room.

I took a diferent path all my life. When I was a little girl I saw a Disney special with Julian and just fell in love with him... I didn't know who his pather was... Til my dad showed me... After growing up I realised that Is not a advantage being the son of someone like John. People never gave the attention Julian deserved as a great artist, because of his last name... Anyways, I still him and I'm glad I found another fans...

i miss arsenio. He had a great show.
He's got a lot more confident over the years in how he speaks and carries himself. There are some other videos posted, that were years after this and you can see the difference. He's had a tough go of it with people comparing him to his Dad and people pitting him against his brother.
When he goes cross-eyed at 2:20 blowing the piece of lint floating in the air in front of him:P

Jules grew up in England, part of his childhood was in the Liverpool area and he has contact with the Stanley side of John's family. Check Lennon(dot)net for more info

John never worked in the studio with Julian other than the performance of "Ya Ya" from 1974's "Walls & Bridges".
If you pause it at 2.21 - Julian looks quite scared by that "ball of lint"....

That was awesome!! Thanks so much for posting it! Is there any performance footage from this show? He mentioned being nervous before... Thought he handled the questions fielded to him fantastically-- including the question about "groupies"! He looked great too-- could NOT take my eyes off him..but then I never can when watching anything Julian! LOL
Remember that Julian had Cynthia for a mother & John had Julia. John was rejected by his mother & father, but Julian has always had a good mother as Cynthia behind him giving him good morals, reading about Julia, she didn't appear to have any good morals. John always had that rejection to deal with.
jude was apparently his nickname, ur right he shouldn't have to live in his dads shadow all his life it's ashame
You think he was nervous here, you should've seen him when he went on tour for his Valotte album. Although he put on a great show, it was so obvious that he was really nervous, if not downright terrified.
Pete was the drummer in the German and Cavern days, George Martin wanted a session drummer for the first album and so on. For several reasons they went with Ringo.
he has a very similar personality to his father, which is funny since they didnt spend a lot of time together.
He lived as a teenager in Wales but was born in Liverpool.
Julian was born in 1963, his mother is Cynthia, John's college sweetheart and first wife. They divorced in 1968. Sean was born in 1975 to John and Yoko.

Times were different then, and Ringo was said to be the best drummer in Liverpool. Pete didn't hang out with John, Paul, and George outside of the band. He's done some books and a special on PBS and doesn't seem bitter at all.
Hard to believe that he's now 5 years older than his father when that piece of shit shot him. Time marches on.
That's what I mean - it seems to appear out of nowhere.
It's a comforting thought to believe John is with him.
I just typed one out. Seems it didn't take. Oh well...just a jot to say I love to see this man grow...and grow. Have you heard or seen him "since" Arsinio? WOW! Yes, it is true: "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree.".

Arsenio a surprisingly sensitive interviewer (his Pete Best reference didn't bomb THAT bad).
I have the whole thing, but it's 10 minutes per segment. Thought the interview was the better half of the bit to put up.
Actually he goes by Jules but Jude works better rythmicly and St Jude is the patron saint of lost causes.

That is so horrible to say (about slapping the feather) but funny as hell!! But on a serious note, if I can stop laughing, the feather thing was brought up in the "Whaledreamers" movie and he was presented a white feather from Tribal Elders. These are folks who wouldn't know a thing about the whole feather thing. It's very interesting.

Julian is very up to the tune and he does well. Cos I dislike Arsenio I'd say he's withdrawn a bit, and that's the best thing he could do.

Julian should not try so hard to not sound like his Dad. It's in his genes and it is natural, so he should sing and screw the credits. After he is dead and gone, is sadly when they will appreciate him being here.
