- This is basically the first video list I've created, so I decided to make it about the most awesome Disney Villain deaths. Enjoy! P.S. (Wow, Disney can get a little dark with some of these scenes, don't you think?)

Okay, I don't care what anyone else says, Facilier was the creepiest.

I love Frollo's death. It's the most satisfying thing ever simply for the fact that he proclaims that god will punish Esmeralda and Quasimodo and ends up being the one punished by god in the very way that he claimed. Perfectly priceless.
I know, right? His death is one of the most ironic I've ever seen in a Disney film!
It's not just irony in my opinion. It's pure artistic brilliance.

Frollos death is #1 to me, it's the most memorable, and leaves the most impact

I find it weird how both Scar and Facilier are killed by their "friends" lol

yup scar's death is aesome and so is facilers even though ive never seen the real movie, just this and his song. scar rocks from begging to end (if you know his childhood)

Good list! Scar's death has always been my favorite, and Facilier's is certainly the coolest! BTW, have you considered making a list about villains who didn't die but still got what they deserved?
Thank you! I do plan on making another list of villains who don't die, but still get punished. Shouldn't take long.
Augusto Franco For such a list I have some suggestions: Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Randall Boggs (Monsters Inc), Yzma (The Emperor's new Groove), Madam Mim (The Sword In The Stone), Sid Phillips (Toy Story), Gov. Ratcliffe (Pocahontas). You could also expand it to non-Disney movies, but sadly the only one I can think about is Tzekel Kan (The Road to El Dorado), and my hatred for that scene goes beyond any limit.
Why do you say Rangall doesnt die? He is trapped in Louisiana and is mistaken foe a gator. You know what that means.
Pajion Dragonhart He doesn't die on screen, and there's very good reasons to presume that he got out to live another day. Another day surrounded by shovels and shotguns, but still... XD

Good list.Scar's death indeed is one of the best.But Gaston's death in Beauty and the beast could have been included.Hades in Hercules? The death of villain in Hunchback of Notre dame is superb scene.
Actually, the reason I didn't include Gaston's death was because I only wanted to have few falling deaths (The Evil Queen, Clayton, and Frollo) and those three struck out the most to me, so I put those in instead of Gaston. And I think that Hades doesn't really die because he's a god, he just remained trapped in the River of the Dead, according to a friend of mine. But thank you for your compliment!
Augusto Franco I heard that in princess and the frog, the villain doesn't get killed when he's dragged into hell, he dies after being trapped in there for years

It's interesting that Eric destroyed this same Ursula, who, as Vanessa, tricked him into marrying her, which failed.
And he did so to protect the woman he truly loved; who previously saved his life twice.
To me the scariest one is the Tarzan one. You get to see a hanging figure of Claton. Thats fucking creepy.

The death scene in "The black cauldron" is very graphic for a Disney movie. It is definitely the worst and most painful death of all ten.
id say claytons is, though the horned kings is definately the most tortorous, the idea of getting hanged from jungle vines sounds... well disturbing
GITMASTERZ but I am pretty sure the actual death of Clayton was fast. It was the getting there that was disturbing. Meanwhile, the Horned King was being ripped apart and his very essence was being sucked into the cauldron.
***** Let's also not forget that Frollo's death was symbolism. Right before he dies he exclaims, "and he shall smite the wicked and plunge them in the firey pit!" Firey pit meaning hell. Right after that, the gargoyle roared at him and plunged him into the firey pit, meaning hell. Which is funny because in Hellfire, he wants Esmeralda to "taste the fires of hell."

I think the order you put them in is also a list of how karmic the deaths are. Except for Maleficent, who prided herself with how evil she was.
The Horned King's Death was bad ass for an awesome movie. I wish he was better known like the others I consider him one of the best.

For number 3, that kinda happens, the spirits are singing a reprise of his villain song "Friends on the Other Side". Hope this helps

Why is there always fire, rain or even both when someone dies in a disney movie?
Lol ikr? But there wasn't any fire or rain when Mother Gothel from Tangled died. Probably why it wasn't considered an "awesome" death -_-
For drama. And No fire nor rain in The Princess and The Frog.
It's actually a literally device. My teacher told me that when it rains in a movie or book it's a time of sorrow or rebirth. Fire symbolizes rising tension or growing conflict.
Facilier's death was definitely the creepiest.
Scar killed Mufasa , ruined the Kingdom and finally betrayed hyenas. Yes, he deserves to die.

Awesome McCoolname It was a Touchstone Pictures and Tim Burton movie at first, but I think that because Disney collaborated a little with this movie, they apparently got the full rights for TNBC, thus using it in stuff like Kingdom Hearts and so.

Augusto Franco Awesome McCoolname Touchstone _is_ Disney. They just didn't want to have it under the Disney title because they thought it might have been a bit to scary for kids and stuff. But after it's amazing turnout. The Disney title was _ALL OVER_ the movie. :3

+Sandra Henriksson yes I've noticed one main reason I can think of is the animator that worked on the sequence with Prince Phillip and Maleficent was Wolfgang "wollie" Reitherman. He is responsible for a lot of reused animation for The Jungle Book to Robin Hood and many others.

I love that Disney gives subtle hints that the villains die. For example, the buzzards in Snow White eerily circle around the Hag as she plummets to the ground.
I talked to my brother about Gaston and Jafar and he said they didn't impress him as much as these which is why they weren't on the list.
Scar will forever be my favorite Disney character and villain because of all he did in his short time a king, I like movies without a happy ending but I remember this is Disney.

How was Jafar's death not on this list at all? It was so violent that it had to be edited for later remakes.

You Missed Gaston
I don't know, it's actually kind of pathetic, since Beast's backhand attack missed Gaston and he only wound up falling over because he has the situational awareness of a hamburger. Had Beast actually struck Gaston and knocked him off, that would've been awesome.
Is it me, or the scream from the Queen in Snow White was later used in Jazz JackRabbit 2 for the first boss?

I still have trouble beliving black cauldron isn't rated pg13. loved the movie, but it scared the hell outta me as a kid.

Whenever I watch these Disney villain death scenes, I often remember how Mertle Edmonds tormented Lilo in the Lilo & Stitch franchise and wish she had that same fate, preferably towards the end of Leroy & Stitch, or if they showed a it in a flashback sequence around the time of Lilo's and Stitch's reunion in the anime. A scene like that would have been satisfying after the way Mertle constantly harassed Lilo.

This was a great list! But I think the Little Mermaid should have been a few ranks higher. No other Disney villain was ever impaled except for Ursula.

I agree! After seeing Hans be one of the cruelest Disney Villains ever, I kinda wanted him to have an epic death scene. But instead, he gets punched by Anna, and thrown into a jail cell. (That was still a pretty good punishment for him!) But I still would have liked o see something like you described, George Parks.

-Mother Gothel falling from the Tower and then turned to dust as she was falling
-That Villain from atlantica who literally scared the shit out of me with his death
-Gaston from beauty in the beast and if you look closly to his eyes in one the frames as he is about to fall, there's skulls in it.

from what I've noticed, whenever someone or something dies, there is almost always rain or fire. or its night time.
there was no fire or rain in tangled or princess and the frog, or mulan (unless fireworks are counted as fire)

Ok, why is Scar always number one? Shadow Man's death was way better and unique. And why is he titled the Best Disney Villain and the most evil of them all, Frollo sings a whole song about lust, kills a innocent woman in the first 5 minutes of the movie, attempts to drown a deformed baby and even says to the priest "I'm sending it back to Hell", lust over Esmeralda in a church, and sends a mob to attack I innocent man in a church. His death was way more satisfying too.
