Today, We are sitting and splitting limestone at the American Fossil Fish Quarry outside of Kemmerer, Wyoming.
There was a little heartbreak that happened...but that's okay.
Theo, Kim, and Myself all had a blast whilst hunting for fossil fish.

I just read a really interesting article about that place in Smithsonian magazine! How cool that you could go there and find some of their famous fish fossils! It's amazing how that stuff opens up like pages in a book. Sure looked dusty! Thanks for explaining how to find the fossils.

So glad your trip to Kemmerer was great. When I think about all the fish thats coming out of the quarry for many years it's truly amazing. Lots of fish in that limestone. This was a great video Kyle. Thanks for sharing! 😊

I still have some of the fish I've gotten from there. That was from the mid 90s. Would love to go back again. One piece i had there was 4 fish on it. Sadly it got broke when I moved once. I was so upset about that one. Thinking there's like 3 different kinds of fish you can find there. Not positive about that. The one that starts with a d most popular one to find.
I'd absolutely love to go back. You can never have too many fish!
