Hi Nick, I hope you are answering my questions, Its bugging me for little while. Is that true if we turn off the campaign/adset will reset the facebook algorithm? or is it the same when we turn that manually vs turn off automatically because running out of budget?
Hey Nick, I bought your eBook three days ago, and it’s been amazing-really helpful and incredibly informative. I just have one question if you don’t mind: should I read through the whole thing first and then start applying the steps, or should I go chapter by chapter and apply each part as I go? For example, should I read the market research chapter first without doing anything, then go back and apply it step by step?
They used to be two separate events. Black friday was for retail in person shopping and cyber monday was for online brands. Now since consumers and brands have shifted to all online, black friday is the kick off day for a 4 day sales weekend called BFCM. So we just prepare for BFCM and it's one sales event.
Hi Nick! I've been following you for a year now, and I used to follow your approach of moving the winning ad into the main winning ad set. However, I know you don't do that anymore. So, I wanted to ask-if the main winning ad set still performs better, do you keep it running and let it compete with every new testing and winning DCT ad set? Thanks bro!
Hello Nick. I figured out how to find the winning creative in dynamic creative. I go into the custom audience section and I look at the videos on a campaign basis as if I'm going to create an audience based on video viewership data and it shows how many views it has.
Hi Nick, I have two questions regarding your Facebook Ads strategy. How many hooks or ad angles should we test in a CBO campaign that is starting to perform well, and how often should we test them? What budget would you recommend to start a CBO campaign using your strategy?
I do 3 new concepts a week. Depends on what my research says. Start at a budget that you can afford to lose for the first 30 days so you have time to test and find winning ads.
Hi Nick, I also saw the video about ad pockets, in that video they tell one campaign strategy is wrong, but now you clear the doubt. Is there any document or update from fb how's the algorithm work? How do i find out on myself?
Nick new subscriber here. Can you make a video about which placements to use for a beginner to facebook ads and how much daily we should spend so that the ad learns and optimizes. My brand has basically 0 roas and is losing money daily because we dont know how to run ads
1. auto placements 2. Whatever you can spend for 30 days without making an roi, so you can have enough time to test 12-16 new ad concepts over that period of time
Nick, If you are testing a new angle for a product, you keep it in the same campaign bc the business objective stays the same, right? But do you not test against a winning headline because the angle is now different? So make a new DCT (or flexible) but make 2 new headlines?
Hi Nick, I really appreciate all the insights you've shared! I have two questions and hope you're willing to answer them: I still have a main ad set (with all old winning ads) running in one campaign. If I continue to add testing DCT ad sets in the same campaign and one of them turns out to be a winner, leaving it on, I’ll eventually have more than 8 ad sets in the same campaign. What would you do in that situation? You mentioned running one ad per ad set (no duplicate ads in other ad sets), but is it okay if the same ad (duplicate) is running in two different campaigns targeting different countries? For example, one in the US and one in Asia? Thanks a lot!
@@NickTheriot So, is it okay to have a lot of ad sets running at the same time in 1 campaign? I saw your comment in another section where you mentioned running 8 ad sets in 1 campaign with 0-5 winners and 0-3 testing
Do you use gtm or recommend it? Or do you recommend not using it as gtm creates a layer and a step between meta? Someone recommended me to use it for analytics & someone advised against it. I am confused. Whats the best things you recommend for overall tracking? Can you make a updated video on it. Thanks for the brilliant work you are doing.
Hey Nick, think about this: why do you even need to "pull out" the winning ad from a dct adset? why wouldn't we use adsets as a whole thing? Not having a main "winners" adset, but using 3-5-10 dct adsets as your objects and let the CBO do the job, as a hypothesis i can say that 3-2-2 dct can make overall job better, than 1-1-1 pulled out winner, just use logic from this video - less fatigue, less workload. What do you think?
Hi Nick! I'm following your structure but Meta rep suggests some changes, can you help me figure out "the truth"? The rep says: 1. to merge the adsets cause having multiple formats in one adset (video + static) improve performance. 2. That multiple adsets with audience overlapping is a real problem cause the adsets compete against each other and create higher CPA What do you think on this?
You still follow these rules for turning off ads like your old video that you basically never turn off if some were proven winners in the last and just add new winners? “BIG Change: Not Turning Off Facebook Ads Improves ROAS”
Nick, Is it true that it doesn't make sense to run an ad campaign right now with the goal of converting on sales less than a $4,000 budget? For example, on a print-on-demand store.
Bro is it ok to write popular hashtags related to the product or industry in your ad copy? I have seen some people use brand hashtags and some using event specific ones like #blackfriday

Not an issue, just keep turning off the bottom performers
yes running one campaign for one country and another for another country is not a problem at all

Yep! that's what we switched over to this year.
if targetting doesn't happen at the ad set level and is more creative based, does that mean i shouldn't create different ad sets for different angles?
