    And this is why I have no friends and maybe that’s a good thing.

      Few or no friends is far preferable to many false ones!

    I agree with Dave. My list of friends is very small because I have good morals. The older I get the less I care what others think and instead learn more from the wisdom of the bible.

      Nah, personally I don't need friends to be happy. Sure, I would like some people to hang out with and chat with, but it doesn't mean I am entirely unhappy because I have none.

      Find some, make some, or make peace with the fact that you tend to be more of an introvert. Everyone should have friends, we're social creatures by nature, but it's not a bad thing to be comfortable with your own company. Too much of either isn't good for folks, so find a balance that works for you.

    Dave, I don't know if i have a real friend. Most of my time is spent watching videos of you, Toni Robbins, Project life masterery, and Corey Wayne. Can i call them my company?

    • @rv292
      @rv292 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ''Can i call them my company?''
      Absolutely!!! THEY ARE you company. Anybody you listen to frequently, IS your company.
      Count yourself blessed because UNLIKE MOST, you can still pick and choose who speaks into your life.
      You are literally picking which shape/mold you want to get into, and then come out being like.

      fedoracore321 Yes, Jesus absolutely hung out with people from all walks of life...humble, sick, broken, sinners...but he also spent the bulk of his ministry days in fellowship with his disciples. The concept of being in close fellowship with other believers is clearly evidenced and encouraged in scripture. I think Dave’s point is about having that intimate core that’s consistently around you be a group that is aligned with your goals and values. He’s not saying to forsake and neglect others, just to make sure those with actual influence in your life are a positive influence.

    • @supersmart671

      Probably what David means is, who are our counselors. Or put it another way, whose life principles are you building your life.

    I feel bad for Dave’s generation sometimes. So divided they can’t even consider spending time with people who think differently from themselves. That attitude breeds ignorance, makes life booring.

    Well there are areas in which your logic Falls flat. For example here in Silicon Valley you just can't hang around a bunch of smart people and make a lot of money unless you yourself have a high IQ. Genetics plays a lot into the demographics of Silicon Valley.
