"I changed my name so I don't get recognized as much." *shows the new name on TH-cam video*
Night They still need the #
+Rollin Hunt I prefer salmon points.
Nah, they'll just assume every HiddenPants is Stylosa when in a game.
+XuQifei Actually you can't change the name more than once in overwatch. My friend tried it when he was bored and now he is stuck with the name BouncyPants forever... xD
yeah you can change it if you pay :/ you get one free name change... it isn't OVERWATCH it's Blizzard, so your battle.net username can be changed.
And that is how ana lost both her eyes
Bailey Holmes underrated comment
Bailey Holmes so funny u deserve top comment
ecks dee
Bailey Holmes one of the funniest comments I've ever seen 😂😂😂
Love it Sty! #fuckyoubye!
you are a gracious man Tyrodin
Didn't expect to see Tyroding here!
Tyrodin wots up?
love you Tyrodin
😙😙😙😙😙😙😙
Hey Stylosa
Non Shooter, Support & Tank "Main" here. I did this Training for 3 hours on 2 different days. My Accuracy was
20%, 23%, 22%, 25%, 30%, 29%, 28%
Then I lowered my ingame mouse sensitivity from 12 to 8. I know a lot of Pros use 5-8, and it makes totally sense. So from now on i will Train myself with 8.
27%, 28% and 31% was the outcome.
I will do this Training more often. Around end of January I will send you statistics of how I improved :)
thank you very much for this Training. I love it
kumite1001 how good is your aim now ? ^~^
@@Vvren06 2 years later
Just did this. Brought my accuracy down 2%.
Lul
Stewart Williams bro u wack
I play a similar amount of csgo and Overwatch now because I too like the dynamic of healing/tanking in Overwatch. However, I find myself going back to csgo more because I'm sick of dying to random spammed shit. That doesn't happen in csgo. If you die, you lost a skill battle. In Overwatch, you die all the time to some random shit and you watch the kill feed and they don't even have you on their screen. It kills so much of the fun for me.
The arcade extra game mode is amazing, who else agrees?
Until the other team stacks Meis, Tracers, or Zaryas.
mei and zarya are so op
Buddy Jesus playing it nonstop since it came out XD tracer is awesome there
Mei is bae
Hog & Tracer are constant heal/damage in arcade :D
I've been doing this type of training for some time now and the negative to this (that I noticed) is that you start to focus on accuracy and take to long to actually shoot because you're aiming for the head, in a situation where you would body shoot someone and it might be enough.
This type of training might be good, but reaction time is as important or even more. So don't forget to also not take to long to aim and focus on reaction time as well.
Stylosa once told me rank doesn't matter
"cough" old meme
The meme will never die.
You're getting awfully close to those bots if your goal is to practice aim.
por que eu quis lolwat
Thats around the range he would be in an actual game
+SelfAwarePedant Well first you spelled pendant wrong, but second, por que eu quis is right. At closer ranges it's harder to track because they don't have to move as much to get around you and make it harder for you to aim, whereas at longer distances that have to really commit to movement in order to avoid getting shot.
Harrison Johnson I'm not a pendant. I'm a pedant.
What's a pedant?
Basically, someone who tells other people they spelled pendant wrong on the internet.
SelfAwarePedant That's accurate.
First of all Force Gaming made a similar video months ago, so what brings Stylosa to do it now?
All of these guys make similar videos....who cares?
who cares?
why do i see you in every comment section.
I can tell you didn't watch the part where he mentioned that, and that his method was kinda different.
To be fair, this one is a little different in that he uses the training idea as a challenge. 100 kills with a 30% or better accuracy.
Also, he does mention that he's seen other TH-camrs discussing the Ana training ground.
I, personally, found myself having much worse aim when I got into a real game.
when your a junkrat main
love your videos man, first time doing ana bot training, i wasn't aware of the damage multiplier, so i had to go for 2 shots to the head before they healed up with their grenades, my "training" didn't end at 100 kills however, it ended when i got them all off the point at overtime on hanamura, and i must say i never had my hand cramp like that ever, but it did indeed help my headshot mechanics :D
You should do, "KILL 100 Tracer BOTS"
Tio
Rip*
and she can get headshots on you.
Who?
tracer can headshot you, so you can get killed while training
Thanks Sty, this video is actually super useful, I've always thought the practice range wasn't good enough for proper practicing. Much appreciated!
even high noon is realistic, you cant get kills with it
sombra ro nice 1 :)
I think a good edition to this challenge, if you're really focusing on aiming at the head, would be to force yourself to switch targets if you miss a shot instead of trying to kill the same target. I think it would help a lot with improving your accuracy for that first shot in the engagement.
4:18 I believe it's called a chamber
A drill that I've done for Pharah is to play attacking on King's Row against 6 hard Torbjorn bots. Play the full match, 1v6 and it will teach you to be more cautious and disciplined when going in. I get that a lot of people may not like this because they don't play as Pharah much and dread Torbjorn but I found this to be an effective practice method.
Hey since the new custom game, could you try show how to make the same custom game. Since the update, when you are in skirmish they wont run around.
Better is to put a really big life and shots doing almost no damage so that we don't have to wait for Anas to come back. Instead of watch they dying just hear the headshot noise... Blim
Hey dude, play with zlbrad
Gaming Trex he's asked before, they've yet to respond
i mean australia belonged to UK but the ping difference is still there (history joke!)
Its kinda hard coz when Sty's up. Zylbrad more than likely asleep
stylosa once told me rank doesnt matter
Itz Specz the time differences aren't that bad
Pro training tip: If you're practicing flicks, remember to practice different flick angles and distances! It's generally easier to flick from one specific direction to another (ie: left to right, right to left, etc.) due to muscle memory , so don't forget to practice flicking from the opposite direction, as well as top->bottom and vice versa.
i'm gonna do this with widow maker
Same
same
***** it got 2 4 4 me
Thank you so much for this Sty, I've practiced 3 times now, and my accuracy has gone up 10% (I did 100 kills each time). Afterwards I go straight in competitive and get much better results! :D Going to keep practicing, I'm around 35% now
Haha you are so much better at getting headshots than me :)
Nice video though
Thanks for the training suggestion. I've been playing since about mid October. and I love tips like this so I can improve my gameplay as much as possible.
nice
Also, first
1:26 That free advertisement in chat
HOW DO YOU HAVE 16 PNG????? WTF?????
i usually have 22-25ms and i envy his 16 tbh...
ODIO POWER cool.. my lowest is 100 -_-
Where are you from? and in which server do you play? Im from italy and i play in EU servers and using a traking software to know where mine packet are sent i have discovered that the servers are all in france, or at least i always play on france servers.
ODIO POWER im in balkan and play on eu, obviosly.
I get 23.
Thank you, Sty, for sharing Solar Hound's training method that Force Gaming popularized over two months ago! Congratulations on giving credit were credit is due-oh, wait, you didn't.
i did this and got 12% weapon accuracy :(
It's probably better than what I would get.
Tommygun684 keep going, practice makes perfect
I got 23%, tho it feels like I should have gotten much lower. I did get a a few cool moments tho. Its weird tho. Somes times it would give me a headshot when I feel like it shouldnt and other times It wouldnt give me a headshot when I feel like I was right on target.
im ok with it because stylosa once told me rank doesn't matter
I got 9%, but could only get 38 kills in 15 minutes
After watching this video, I did the training once per day, 4 days in a row. The first time around I got a pitiful 16%.... the second time I hit 17%. The third time I hit 20%. Just did it today and managed to get (a still pitiful) 24%! Goes to show what you get with practice. Also shows how much of a gap in skill there is between me and Stylosa lol.
Admittedly this training specifically increases your accuracy with McCree more than with other heroes, but probably still has a moderate accuracy benefit for other heroes as well, especially hitscan ones. It also probably improves your aim more vs Ana than other characters, because it really familiarizes you with her hitbox. However you can always play with the variables and change which hero you are playing against. Sure you will take damage from other heroes but you can still get some good practice in.
But it doesn't really help because you're not having to avoid shots
you know nothing about aim lul
Why? It's easy to shoot a headshot when you can walk directly at the target. What if you're peaking or jumping around avoiding fire from multiple enemies?. Aim is down to more than just walking round and point shoot. There's more factors in game.
you gonna train your aim, being able to flick and thinhs like this...
Just stop talking please, this type of training increases your aim a lot.
Pro athletes practice fundamentals more outside a game than during one. Same rule applies here. The drill allows for building muscle memory, which will transfer into a game. I understand that they aren't shooting at you, but this is purely an aiming drill to build up your aiming mechanics for certain heroes. When you do decide to head into a game it transfers over and you'll be able to perform more accurately.
Been doing this method since Ana came out, great way to train accuracy especially with hitscan like mccree or solider and since ana is such a small target it helps a lot.
got 52 percent on console
Autoaim...
+Victim of Lag auto aim is not aimbot...
oh ok
(as a PC user) yeah they do. Just because a M&K is superior, doesn't mean it can't work for consoles
Aiming on a console is harder than pc, 9 times out of 10 aim assist will even screw you over getting that on console is much harder than pc. why wouldn't it count?
I DID IT AND IT WAS HARD, but after the training, I started to improve. You are a great teacher.
Have you ran out of ideas for videos ?
This is a great idea for a video, so obviously not
danehb89 except that idea came from Force Gaming first
simply put...yes.. ive been debating if i should unsubb or not i mean id rather see some comp games then this everyine knows this stuff and we are so far in the game i dont think guides are necessary imo
not true
i didnt know this stuff tbh. so this is cool to me
Other things you can add: A Lucio and an Ana on your team. Lucio will stay around you and give you a speed boost, making your own speed faster and thus making it harder to hit. Ana can then make this even more ridiculous by Nano Boosting you and speeding you up even more. Obviously mix this in with training without the Lucio and Ana as well, or you'll get too used to aiming at that speed, but it could be useful.
This is a much better way to train actually. Thanks for showing us this.
This is also good practice for zenyatta. If you increase the damage, a single headshot will kill ana if she is discord orbed. Otherwise she lives with just a little bit of health left. Helps you get better at going after your discord target
This was actually insanely helpful, after for practicing half an hour i decided to do some quickplay and whoa
Juke drills also help with staying alive. Just fill the enemy team with 1-6 enemy heroes and make sure it's a mixed bag of ranged dps heroes. Don't shoot back. Just try to stay alive as long as you can.
ya i've been using anna hard bots since she came out, but didn't know you could make it skirmish, i always just stood on point and got off when they were dead lol. your way much better:)
Hey great video! I've always practiced in the Training Ground and I have never thought about training in a custom game.
Try doin the same training, but with Widow on the bridge at the spawn in Numbani. Don't modify the damage and don't shoot when they run out of the spawn in a straight line, only when they start strafing. Whenever your hook is off cooldown, use it to reposition and quickly reacquire a target and get into the habbit of shooting before your shot is fully charged, since a 67% charged headshot will kill a 200 health hero. This way you can train fast target acquisition, Widows aim and you boost your potential with her, once you get her charge mechanic down.
stylosa acts like this was the best thing he's done, but he wasn't even decent and he also did his 'dirty' shots.
I recommend you do this on a map with a variable surface near the spawn, such as Temple of Anubis as you have to manage aiming on the y axis in addition to the x one. That makes it much more difficult and more effective training.
This is exactly the same training drill I've been doing. Only difference is that I turn off cooldowns so I can Combat Roll whenever I want and I always play on Dorado for some reason. Didn't think of speeding up the respawn time though, that's genius.
Thanks for the tip! I'd love to watch more videos about how you train!
realy love this video i think u can try to do more of this. (with tank supp and stuff like that)
I've done this and I feel like one shot head shots is more difficult. After you land the first headshot in a normal setting game, the bots make a B line for the nearest health kit spawn(regardless if it is there). Making the second headshot super easy to land.
Did this with Mei to help my alt fire timing and distance. Felt pretty good! Obviously real players don't move like bots with their kinda predictable "move to position A, stand there and shot 1-2 rounds, then move to position B..." pattern, but still good practice against hitboxes that aren't the size of trucks moving at a pitifully slow and predictable pattern. Lookin at you training room!
Remember, you can change this up based on which character you play most. For instance, I do the opposite thing with the health and damage. So 25% damage and 300% health. Since I play mostly Mercy, the ability to stay on target is more important than single hits.
I'm doing this now and it's the hardest thing ever! How is he pulling these shows off?! He made it look easy but this chick is TINY
Thank you so much for this video. Been doing this for a while and I've improved significantly. Not just with McCree.
Before I couldn't aim for shit, but yesterday I got a triple kill with a Widowmaker.
I can't quite nail the sensitivity right though
I would like to hear more of what you, others and some pros come up with as well for aim training or really anything else. I'm practicing my Lucio wall rides atm.
I can't seem to aim properly while moving and it's starting to frustrate me. My weapon accuracy is only 27% and I've been losing every 1v1 I get.
I've played junkrat and dva mainly and so haven't had to aim accurately, trying to play mccree so definitely gonna need this
NO PRO is using skirmish anymore, they're using Control Maps (quick play mode, 25% spawn time) to train against Ana bots. The reason is because right after the Ana's launch patch they changed her AI where she stays more static and move more predictable like we can see in a lot of moments in the video.
"Remember guys, you want to make it as real as possible!1!1!!!1!111!1!!!" *turns on 200% damage*
sty you should add 3 pharah into this drill because a big part of playing mcree is taking out pharah, plus shes a different target and cant headshot
Awesome video Stylosa! I really enjoyed it! I usually stop at 50 kills. Gonna try to hit the 100 mark! By the way, one thing I always set at the beginning is the Abilities Cooldowns to avoid Mccree reload animation. I Just keep using shift to "reload". Dunno if its cheating hahaha, but you spare time
ok... so thsi is the first time i actually go into aiming in an fps game... just did the drill and couldn't even manage to get the 100 kills in the 25 mins the skirmish lasts T.T
that's why i main mercy - and ma not even that bad at her so i think..
however, i am willing to git gud with dps heroes aswell therefore i will continue practicing every day. probably even make a compilation video of my progress since i also started recording my playing thanks to you mister Unit Lost! thanks for your great content btw :D
you can also train with ana against full team Lucio with one or two Lucio's on your site just to keep you alive , really helps improving your accuracy with ana
*side
the nicest thing about this is that ana is a huge value target
Great video, Stylosa. Should help a lot of people at aiming.
Set 3 medium enemy Lucio bots, 300% increased health, a lot of healing and 25% dmg. You can get more tracking, harder targets to hit and they dont die instantly all the time. (You can set one lucio bot for you so you get heals)
stylosa once said losing your pants doesn't matter
thanks dude! I'm gonna do this with Hanzo, wanna start playing him
Coming from playing Street Fighter I should be spending more time like this in training. I always spent 30 mins in training mode on sf4 before jumping into ranked matches.
Great idea for training! Thank you Stylosa! :D
omg im TOTALLY doing this. thanks stylosa i will definitely send you screen shots :D
I once killed 100 Ana bots on Hanamura on attack as zenyatta. It was stressful to capture the points
I use to do this with halo 3. I would train for hours on end and doing this will make you a lot better with nothing but game time loss without risking your rank. Me and my son sometimes do a cowboy showdown and see who can kill to like 20 first.
I've been trying to adapt this to Genji, but of course it's much harder to get headshots with him. Even with only 20 minutes it did wonders for hitting players heads when I was aiming for it.
I do this everday my accuracy went up from about 25% to 32% killing the ana bots. Then today i bought CSGO for the training maps alone im really impressed with those at the moment tbh!
I just did it ur way with same map and settings and now i'm 34-35%. I never played mcree in the past coz man i was so bad but since starting to do this i can have a few games to ease off my usual Zayra duty without worrying too much how bad i am lol!
At 100 kills I had 14% weapon accuracy with McCree.
This is why I mean non-hitscan LMFAO
Maybe going to try the challenge, but for another training ( using and helping me) for more flicks/tracking go to hollywood team 2 spawn and flick in between the center red door frame and choose different points to flick to. (only to get the flick movement down to muscle memory with modderations to improve other things as well)
That flick tho after you took a shot
Can you think of some training drills for practicing Ana aim(for healing your allies with both scoped and non scoped shots) or maybe for zarya's lazer/pharah's rockets, as you can't headshot with those either. Would love to know about something like that, which I could do to improve my aiming, because those trainig bots don't feel realistic at all, as you said in the video.
looks at ana, shoots her and then spazzes his mouse around
"there's a flickshot, awesome"
no
Great video! I mostly play tank/support and need some dps training 😬
That moment when the crosshair placement i learned in counter strike keeps my crosshair too high for Ana
I did this, but playing as ana against 3 hard ana bots. It's hard to kill them in a group, but if you catch one of them by themself it's a bit easier, sleep dart, and then however you choose to follow up from that. I was able to rack up 36 kills, 19 deaths since headshots only wouldn't work, 44 sleep darts hit, 34% accuracy uncscoped, 40% scoped. Need to work on my aim quite a bit.
For training I like to go against a hard Lucio as Ana or Widow in a custom skirmish.
"You want this to be as real as possible"
*Fighting 6 Anas*
Been doing this for a few days, started out at like 20%, up to 37% now and can definitely see the difference in general. 1600 DPI 5 sens.
Very interesting, might make for a fun little video on my channel...definitely trying it.
Now you're going to get recognized because everybody who watches this video now knows that your name is hiddenpants..
I used to do this every day. My record was 239 without any damage modifier.
i tried this and i had a mental breakdown
I've done this without damage modifier as mercy twice
Low key this would help me if I wanna try to be better with Widow maker. #ThanksForReadingThePatchNotes!
I already do this, and I practice with a couple heroes in it, McCree, widow, zenyatta, Hanzo
I need to do something like this with Hanzo!!
"You wanna make this as real as possible"
well i mean idk if they will all play ana.
Hey I've already been doing this for widow practice it works pretty well
10:40 it may seem obvious but don't train with Mccree if you want to play with Hanzo :p
