Dany absolutely steals the spotlight on this one but Ale casually killing it on Flea's bassline while contemplating if her dinner should include wasabi is a very close second for me!
Original song by Alanis Morissette, simply great in Dany's voice...she always puts an extra and emotion to every song, she makes you live it like no one else!
First .. The Warning is amazing on tjis cover, they did it justice. Second .. I about fell outta my chair when y'all said y'all hadn't heard Alanis Morissette. One of the best artists of the 90s. Please go down that rabbit hole with *"You Oughta Know", "Jagged Little Pill"* and *"Ironic"* and so many many more
The Warning moves like a Military Unit with Danny as the General, Paulina as the Enforcer and Alejandra as the cold blooded silent Assassin just so COOL! Mexico is on the world stage Gracias Chicas 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
The Warning is like "Wasabi" when you look at them as a 3 piece Band you don't expect them to Kick your Ass .I Love The Warning-Wasabi and your Channel
Dany's vocals are spectacular, she inhabits "You Oughta Know" as if it's her story, all while playing Dave Navarro's guitar part. Ale, a prodigy/ world-class Jazz Bassist playing Rock, Slays. Ale's so skilled/ chill she acts like she's doing very little when she's playing a very difficult Bass-line she modified from the original. (I fully expected Ale to start drinking a Pepsi without missing a note.) Ale seamlessly altered the bass-line adding crystal clarity and Jazz-based progressions inspired by her hero, Jaco Pastorius, considered the greatest Bassist of all time. Pau, looking like Trinity from The Matrix, fiery like Wasabi, injects Jazz with brushes. I know Pau's in a glass-booth for sound yet can't shake that someone at SiriusXm was scared of Pau and took precautions.
Make sure you turn on the captions for Breathe - you will want to know what Pau says before she plays the song. You may need to set the CC to translate (settings - subtitles/CC - auto-translate - and select English from the scroll-down).
Just FYI for Coach. The version on The Warning TH-cam channel already has the correct translations for Breathe and for what Dany says in the middle of When I'm Alone. Just turn on the closed caption option and it should come up for you in English. Auto translate gets a little confused in parts. As far as the cover you just watched, The Warning showed their normal class and cleaned up the lyrics in a couple of places while still making it a rocking song.
The Warning makes this their own. Dany's voice and interesting choices in guitar distortion amaze always. Pau's laid back rigor with the brush and cool-shades drumming shows her fully in control. Ale's jazzy, crisp bass lines anchor the song while putting fierce emotion into the instrumentation. They also modified the lyrics slightly, changing "does she go down on you in the theatre" to "does she make out with you in the theatre" as well as changing "thinking of me when you fuck her" to "thinking of me when you touch her." Those lyric changes take little away from the intensity of the emotion while still getting across the furious anger of the original lyric while reflecting DPA's personalities. What an amazing cover!!! How they managed to do this while on tour most of the year astounds me.
These ladies are amazing they killed this cover all 3 were awesome. Yes you should do a double shot put the Closed Caption on for the beginning of breathe wasabi both songs are emotional and beautiful at the same time. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡⚡⚡
Hey there Coach & Mrs Coach, a good wasabi to you both. These young ladies are the queen's of covers when they do them. They killed this song. The 2 emotional songs sung by Pau are outstanding. The emotion she brings is raw and vulnerable, especially Breathe. She was still recovering from the flu and said her voice wasn't the best but she wanted to sing it for her fans. She had never sung it live, it is very personal. It is one of the most brave and emotional performances I have experienced. Dany also did a solo with When I'm Alone that is also outstanding and personal. It would help to have English captions on for both these songs. To once again bring the word of the day, Dany and Pau were hassled at a recent concert, it was-a-bee that buzzed them. Cheers, Rich
These ladies are so talented and really don't need to release covers, however when they do WOW this is as hot as wasabi! This was an amazing tribute to Alanis Morissette who released this in 1995. Each one of them, Dany, Pau, and Ale did a phenomenal job!! ❤🤘
First things first you Wasabi people... Double dose of Pau, 1000% YES (don't know about mr Coach tho, these two being a slow songs and all, we'll see.). Now: Dany absolutely Crushed it, and Pau was Feeling it (Pau's favorite breakup song), but Ale... Thunder Goddess strikes again !!! Ican only hope that they do Ironic cover also 🤞... And after I saw this cover, I bought Alanis Morissette's album LP "Jagged Little Pill" at the same day. ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
Yes, Black Holes and Breathe are the two astoundingly emotional songs about which you were speaking. Be sure you turn on the Englush translation for Breathe, so you can understand the introduction Pau gives at the beginning of the song. Breathe is to emotional songs as wasabi is to hit sauces!
Wasabi Coach and Mrs. Coach. A "double shot" would be great. Ale's Bass is insane on this along with Dany's vocals. Then there is Pau, incognito and doing her best "Trinity" look from the Matrix. Cheers.

Nothing like The Warning to put some wasabi on your day. It gives that sting that is sometimes missing from your life. Good cover by the ladies. Dany especially caught my attention this time, she really captured the essence of the song. More The Warning is always welcome, if you want to do a double whammy go right ahead. I will absolutely be there to see it.
The Warning are so much better than what you had with Wasabi Almonds. I cannot believe you have not heard the original song as it was one of her biggest hits in the 90's. Great reaction.
Awesome job all around. Ale making that bassline look easy.🎸. I agree Dany gets the emotion into the vocals. Also kind of a full circle moment. The Warning opened for Foo Fighters shortly before Taylor Hawkins passed away. Taylor played drums for Alanis on the Jagged Little Pill album tour, the album this song is on. Sure check out those 2 songs with Pau. Not sure how to use the word 'wasabi'. But you did say the word 'glitch'. "Glitch" is a great song , debut single by a newer 3 piece band from Canada called Freeze The Fall❄❄. FTF are partly influenced by The Warning. Please check out Freeze The Fall's song "Glitch" or "Daughters of Witches".
Hey team ‼️was’abi guys. Sorry that’s the best I can do 🫥a good reaction today 💥l’m pretty sure I’ve heard that song somewhere before also. They did a decent job on it. Peep ya on the next one
Great cover. This song was huge in the mid 90’s. Very angsty. You definitely should watch the Pau 2fer from Pepsi Center. Bring a tissue because your eyes will water like you just ate a spoonful of wasabi. 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
THe Queens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Warning are as smooth as guacamole and salsa on a sweet summer day, but as one delves deeper, the listener should beware because the guacamole will soon become wasabi and it will ignite a fire 🔥 within your soul. This is known as The Warning effect. 😮❤
Great reaction! If you do those emotional songs by The Warning from their Pepsi Center show PLEASE turn the closed captions on to convert from Spanish to English as there is some talking before/during the songs that you need to understand to get the full effect from these songs.
As great as their covers have been over the years, they aren't known as a "Cover Band", which is a good thing because their original compositions are so remarkable. They are amazing at taking a song and making it their own, which is what a cover should be. They cleaned up the lyrics a bit to better suit their brand - or perhaps Sirius XM intended toplay this during the day when a general audience would be listening. What impresses me most is Dany's vocals. But I must also mention Ale's covering Flea's original basslines, and Dany's adapting Dave Navarro's guitar work. Pau is just cool groovin' on the drums with her switching up jazzy brushwork that "You Oughta Know" she could do that because she is more than just a heavy hitting drummer - she is a percussionist with style and finesse whenever the song calls for it.
Coach and Mrs. Coach if you are talking about doing Black Holes and Breathe in a double shot, do it but bring tissues. They are incredible performances by Paulina but very emotional. Thx and Wasabi could for sure put you off a little.
The lyrics are a little cleaned up from the original. The original had a lot of guys wanting to go to the movies with Alanis, and Dany's line, "And are you thinking of me when you touch her?" had more, um, intense word than "touch." If you do the double shot of "Black Holes" and "Breathe," make sure to do them in that order and to turn on the subs. Shoutout to Wasabi, the stage name of the modern drummer of the great Wagakki Band, for getting through colon cancer. He's a young guy, in tremendous physical shape, but it was caught early and he's okay now. Get screened for it, people! It's what took Kirstie Alley from us too soon.
Glad to hear about his victory over colon cancer. Great public service announcement. There's also a video on our channel that Coach gave that same advice. It's E.U. "Da Butt", recorded right before Coach's colonoscopy.
Queens of Rock. It's been awhile since you heard this song, you didn't mention the word changes they did, they cleaned up the song and it rocked harder than the original.
They did a great job on the song, as they akways do, but it did not rock harder than Akanis. I've seen her twice in recent tears, and she really rocks this song. I hope they Warning performs it live in upcoming concerts. I bet they'll really turn I t on live.
@charleswharmbyiii8401 I'm thinking the same thing but so far the only cover they do lately is Enter Sandman, their version, but this would be a great edition to their concerts. And yes I also believe in Live performances they may do the original wording or not, and if they keep it clean I'm good with that too, these are good ladies and I appreciate that from these ladies, my Queens of Rock.
@@CoachCastTV oh yeah, back in the 90s, controversy, still played awhile on air then they started to bleep the spots because little children(were singing it the original way). And parents were not happy.
Pau(pronounced “pow”) had a bee harassing her during the end of the last concert on tour. So I liked the comment that Pau said “Wasabi doing buzzing around me?”
Wasabi is perfect for helping to devour this FU breakup song. It is actually Pau's most favorite breakup song...ever. TW toned down the swear words to make it a little more PG13. Ale's bass steals it for me. Dany's emotion and guitar tone is super. And Pau is having a blast. Quick note: When you react to BREATHE, it is important to have CC translation activated, Spanish to English. Pau sets the mood of this First Time Only performance of this very personal song. Tissues might be advisable. I know I need them.
thanks for sharing folkz ... i think dpa may have sampled wasabi in japan when they were there ... namaste from canada ... r0ck 0n ... twa ... \m/ p.s. doubleshot yes please

This performance was as hot and spicy as horseradish (wasabi) almonds. I don't think Mrs Coach is going to like a couple of the lyrics in the original, just a "warning" if she hasn't heard it before seeing my comment. 👍
Yeah, the real reason Pau is inside that glass cage? It's the only way to keep all that PAU-er contained 😁 Wasabi almonds huh? My belly aches just thinking about it 😖 And yes, do a double shot at Black Holes and Breathe at the Pepsi Center.
@@CoachCastTV Haha, I can imagine. The fact that they still are doing covers once in a while gives me hope that there may be a The Warning cover album with rerecordings of their old covers some day, with a full length version of Kickstart My Heart, and, of course, their original cover of Enter Sandman. I'm plenty curious how their old covers would sound now.
Dany is unreal on this song ..just phenomenal

This performance was as hot and spicy as horseradish (wasabi) almonds. I don't think Mrs Coach is going to like a couple of the lyrics in the original, just a "warning" if she hasn't heard it before seeing my comment. 👍
Thanks for "the warning". :-)
Yeah, the real reason Pau is inside that glass cage? It's the only way to keep all that PAU-er contained 😁
Wasabi almonds huh? My belly aches just thinking about it 😖
And yes, do a double shot at Black Holes and Breathe at the Pepsi Center.
Yeah, they taste great but have some Pau-er as well. LOL
@@Pascal-the-Rascal Oh, that would be cool.
@@CoachCastTV Yes it would, so here's hopin' 😁
