I really respect reactors that are true to their opinions. I know that every song affects people differently. Some people are drawn to musicianship where artists really emphasize their skills with dominant solos. Personally, I prefer the totality of the song including lyrics, use of harmonies, interesting transitions, catchy melodies and rhythms, and the way the song makes me feel. I also find that things I dislike about a song often turn into things I love about a song after the third or fourth listen. Familiarity makes a lot of difference! I look forward to more of your reactions to The Warning, but first I'm going to check out your reaction to the different cover of this song that you mentioned.
Fair reaction. Thank you 🤘🏼🤘🏼 I’m glad The Warning swapped those 3 words. 1st off, it’s not them. 2nd, it’s not just an eff bomb or just a cuss word…..it’s very sexually suggestive and just uttering those words would even put them beyond many many musicians who continually use cuss words …….so glad they made that decision.
I'm fine with it either way. This cover is in isolation, and it works perfectly for the intended audience. Alanis had it on her famous album, *Jagged Little Pill,* where the profanity fit within a larger context. In the end, The Warning got the point across. Pau does a chorus in *Consume* where she drops an F-bomb. It fits perfectly in that song. Even her Dad agreed. Her Mom, however, was bothered by it.
I absolutely love it when I find a reactor who will pick their performance apart. The girls are completely fantastic, but not everything they do is perfect. I could pick holes in lots of what they do, but it doesn't stop them being utterly superb.
The funny thing here is that for someone who prides himself on the fact that he likes to give his honest and blunt opinion, he doesn't like the honest and blunt opinion of others.
You mentioned the volume being low. Make sure to confirm that “stable volume” is off in the video settings. Even if you’ve turned it off before, it can spontaneously revert occasionally, in my experience. Also, great reaction :)
Good reaction. It is a sign of how quickly DPA are maturing that the better reactors are being more critical than gushing in their responses. The more talent they demonstrate the more they impress and the more that reactors can comment on. Looking forward to your next review
Good reaction AA, I've had no problem with some reactors not feeling quite like I do at times, and that's ok. But it's definitely not TW not being for you, it's just those insensitive fans out there. One can agree to disagree and not be disrespectful about it, cheers.
TWA are protective of these ladies. I appreciate your honest reactions. You seem musically knowledgeable. Don’t give in to the haters. You’d miss a lot of great Warning performances if you do. There’s an interesting “perfect pitch” challenge you should check out. It’s funny, and 3 minutes long. Keep Rockin 🤘🕊❤️🤘 🕊 ✨ The Warning ✨ 🕊
Welcome back! Dany's vocals are spectacular, she inhabits "You Oughta Know" as if it's her story, all while playing Dave Navarro's guitar part. Ale plays killer Bass; Ale's so skilled/ chill she acts like she's doing very little when she's playing very difficult Bass-lines, which she modified from the original. (I fully expected Ale to start drinking a Pepsi without missing a note.) Ale seamlessly melded Flea's bass-line with the crystal clarity and Jazz-based progressions of her hero, Jaco Pastorius, considered the greatest Bassist of all time. Pau drumming (silently singing along) also injects Jazz, especially with brushes. I know Pau's in a glass-booth for sound quality, but I can't shake that someone at SiriusXm is scared of Pau and thought it was best not to take chances. (A point of reference; I'm a huge fan of The Warning but it is bizarre how some people can't accept that not everyone will love a song or group as much as they do. If someone were to say Yo-Yo Ma is a talentless hack that would be objectively false, but they may not like classical music, or if they do like it, they might prefer Mischa Maisky better because they love Maisky's loud, passionate (some would say brash) way of playing the cello. Does that mean Maisky is better than Yo-Yo Ma? No. However, it's pathological for anyone to expect everyone to agree with them on matters of taste. Everyone understands that not everyone likes the same food even if it's well made, yet they can't seem to understand the same exact thing applies to music, art, movies, etc. Take care).
Welcome back Aaron. Check out some of their cuts from the Pepsi Center concert that they recently released. I would love to see your reaction to Pau playing Black Holes and Breathe on the piano from that show. Also some great heavier stuff there.
@@A-AronReacts You can see Pau change from a stick to a brush at 6:32 above. She actually start the song with a brush and change to stick at 2:38 for the first time.
I Hate to say it, but it seems to be more of the Newer and Youthful TW fan base that gets carried away! I Absolutely Love DPA / TW, you can go to any of their original videos, and you'll find me there years and years ago. They are my Favorite current Rock Band, but there are many Favorites over the years. I appreciate them for who the are and what they do, which is Special. There are some on here, who think that Dany is the Best Shredder, etc etc. They each are Awesome and Incredible! But they ignore or Don't Know about EVH, Orianthi, SRV, Jimi, Slash, and Soooo Many More.! They just don't know how to appreciate without having to compare, so comments become very disrespectful.. Sad... They're the kind that Love so much that they are Blinded... I almost don't even go to comments anymore because of Them.. Again, Sad. Just know that the Older , Original, Experienced Fans can understand and appreciate critiques and differences in opinions. We need more of that in Today's World...! Luck to all of You! As Always....... Rock On DPA & TWA!⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡
It makes me sad to hear about the negative comments on some of your prior reactions from fans of The Warning. Unfortunately, as the fanbase grows, .1% jerks equates to a larger number of jerks. Everyone's musical tastes and criteria for enjoying music are different and they're all valid. I'll follow a reactor whose tastes are similar to mine or who introduces me to something I hadn't experienced before. If their tastes don't align with mine, I know there are lots of other reactors in YT-land likely to cover something I enjoy. I loved Pau's Instagram challenge performance of Creep, but if you didn't, who the heck am I, or anyone else, to argue? In any case, I also thoroughly enjoyed this cover of You Oughta Know. Frankly, I was surprised at how good it is, as this style isn't exactly The Warning's bread and butter. Also, the fact that Dany is playing while singing distinguishes this performance somewhat from many others who've done this song, including Alanis, who had the amazing Flea on bass and equally amazing Dave Navarro on guitar.
Thanks. The funny thing is I too loved Pau's version of the Creep! And I reacted that way. What I said was just that I loved it. I also said it wasn't my favorite version I ever heard. But I loved it. Some people. Lol
@@A-AronReacts Wasn't it that you described Pau as an inexperienced piano player despite the fact that she had played piano during 13 years when she was 16 at the time of recording the video. Saying that she performed badly would just be an opinion but saying that she was inexperienced was simply not true. Get it? Listen to *Brahms - Hungarian Dance No. 5 Piano 4 hands Dany (10) & Pau (8)*
Welcome back Aaron! ..and what a great song to come back on!😉 I think this is the first full cover they've done as a band since the re-imagination of Enter Sandman! That said, like always, they put 110% into it, and even though it's almost a carbon copy of the original, they still manage to give it that unique "Warning" sound. I just can't get over that bouncy jazz/funk riff that Ale's putting down on the bass, and of course Dany's crazy vocals and juicy guitar licks. Pau had it pretty easy on this one and is kind of chilling in the back with her Matrix sunglasses.😎😄 Overall, fantastic cover, and I hope Alanis has seen this by now.🥰👍👍👍
Yeah the sunglasses....I was actually very annoyed I didn't comment on them because I even made a note during the reaction to bring it up but somehow missed my own now 🤦. So cool
Thx Aaron for doing this! There are just 2 artists I follow on TH-cam...I'm an Angel & one of TWA. I was surprised to see you react to TW and was pleasantly pleased! Thx again Aaron
Sonething for you to consider; Pau was 16 years old, had worked on Creep for about four hours, and finally "nailed" it on a slightly out of tune piano. Their fans have watched them griw uo and feel very parent-like tuwards them. A sixteen year old girl performing a song like Creep should not be held to the kind of standard by which you were measuring her, at least, in the eyes of the Warning Army. So maybe you can give them a bit of a break. Look for the good in the performances.
Thanks. I loved the performance. I said that. And I knew those details going in which I stated in the reaction. I wasn't critiquing. I said it was awesome and I loved it. I simply said it wasn't my favorite performance and it was AS IF I said it was the worst thing ever. That is the whole reason I was like geez guys, seriously?
Nice reaction. Dany’s voice is getting better and better ! Welcome back. I do know TWA can get combative with criticism of any kind. But I think that as long as a reactor is honest and pays attention (my hot button), TWA should be polite as well. 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Thanks for this reaction. I've followed your channel for a while and personally appreciate your thoughts on many artists, and I was puzzled to hear that you were upset by some of the feedback to your opinions. I'm not defending the jerks who are rude and abusive because there's no excuse for that, but at the same time, I was surprised that as a TH-cam reactor you weren't expecting or ready to be insulted and abused sometimes for what a very small group of turds in the TH-cam punchbowl have to say. Please, keep up what you are doing, and know that not everyone here, especially The Warning Army, is trashing on you. Stay true to yourself and offer your honest feedback. If some of us don't want to hear it, we'll respect your opinion and simply move on. No harm, no foul. All the best.
Thank you. What I was annoyed by was that they whined about me saying it wasn't my favorite reaction. 100% subjective and literally the reason (I think) most are there. So it seemed pointless. And btw, it wasn't a few...I got emails from people directly attacking (I didn't show any of those on the screen...they got kinda evil actually) which I never received for anything else. It was beyond normal stuff. That's why I said, yeah this is silly...I don't need this. Make sense?
Welcome back. A few words for those few "fans" that can't get over anyone making constructive criticism towards their favorite bands. If you're quick to trigger on any comments you perceive to be negative, take a deep breath and wait a minute or two before you comment. Quick comments can often be nasty and unwarranted. Just because you can't perceive any faults doesn't mean everyone else sees it that way.
Understood but I truly praised the performance! That's what's most hilarious to me. Apparently it's not ok for a performance to not be everyone's absolute favorite lol. And the only other thing I said was that her piano seemed basic and likely indicative of her being inexperienced. I love negative comments. Hell even from my very first reaction, I got negative comments and I liked them and thanked them. But for someone to not tolerate a subjective perspective is inappropriate. Why even watch a reactor if you don't want to hear their perspective?
@@A-AronReacts If you would have _taken a deep breath and waited a minute or two before you commented_ on the comment above you might have understood that is was *NOT* aimed at you, but to the people you spoke about in your video. Just saying. 😆
Keep reacting to The Warning! There are definitely some idiot fans, and some creepy ones, too, to be honest. It boggles my mind how even a small amount of subjective criticism will set some of those morons off. Lol ... But, the vast majority of fans are really cool. Keep on keeping on!
@@A-AronReacts Is your skinn thick enough to accept that "100% times three equals" one time three? How come your video didn't show the offensive comments and only based correct comments. Normally it's mostly with *"Get over it, it's only his personal opinion, nothing to be upset about"* but perhaps the offensive comments are deleted?

But considering I GREATLY praised Pau and the performance and said it was awesome, and only stated SUBJECTIVELY it wasn't my favorite and that it SOUNDED LIKE her piano playing was basic and she probably didn't have a lot of playing, even those I included are indicative of fans that don't want to hear REACTIONS but just want cheerleaders that don't share their true, transparent thoughts

La falta de respeto hacia mi opinión subjetiva (no todo el mundo tiene que elegir una actitud como su favorita). 2. No es necesario ser brusco. Sir. 1:15 in & I'm not watching anymore of your content. *WHY SHOULD I??* I don't know you. You can say anything here but the question is. *IS IT TRUE??* But within that minute. You contradict yourself. One hand you claim you don't react to The Warning because some Warning fans thinks your full of it. Then on the other hand you claim to have thick skin. *SO SIR, WHICH HAND IS IT??* If you really had thick skin. You wouldn't be saying I don't react to this band because of comments made from their fans. *YOU'LL BE REACTING TO THE MUSIC & BAND ITSELF.* Like you said. It's your channel. YT sent me your video within my feed since I love this band & their cover. So I'll just scroll on through. Not watching you anymore. Lost a viewer. Cover is great. Dany nailed the vocals. Ale's bass was funky. Pau just chilling. The Warning's best cover. Me gone. Bye bye.
I haven't been here before but I already don't like YOUR attitude. You seem like a guy who is overly critical. I've heard that Creep cover. It was a quick thing she did for patreon members. Doesn't need criticizing. I would suggest being more critical about what you review rather than critical about bad feedback.
I don't like YOUR attitude. He was critical of what he reviewed and you are criticizing him for it. You are an example of exactly what he is speaking about.
Exactly. And since it was done in haste, would it not make sense that not 100% of the people in the world find it to be the best version they have ever heard? ALL I said (after I said I love it and she sounds great) is I've not heard her play piano before but it sounds quite basic like she hasn't played a lot. This wasn't a critique but my opinion based on what I heard. And I said I loved it but it wasn't my favorite version I heard. I will not apologize for being honest and transparent and I most certainly don't think I criticized her. I even went back and relistened afterwards and I fully stand by everything I said. 95% was complete praise btw. And so you imply I was overly critical without listening to my reaction...I have to agree with another reply that you are exactly what I'm talking about. I watch, I react. I'm honest and transparent. I don't claim to know everything nor do I believe I'm biased or unfair at any point.
@@A-AronReacts You hit record, went to guns. You complained that people criticized you for criticizing. And you did it with a certain attitude that felt irritating. And you threatened to withhold further reviews if it happened again. If that wasn't the way you intended to sound... whatever.
Hi A Aron, I have not seen any reactions that people have can you for but I have always enjoyed your reactions to all artists. You mentioned something about Pau / Creep performance, and for me it was a good performance and I do note that other vocal reactors and also musicians have reviewed with glowing reports. But that does not bother me that any reactors give their opinion either positive or otherwise as I go on what I did or did not enjoy so we are all just human and have our own thoughts. Keep reacting to all artists and I know it is hard but The Waring fans are very intense and will attack to protect/project their beloved Waring Band. Personally I also love The Warning rock band, 3 very sweet, kind, and extremely talented people that come thought following their musical journey from 4 yrs old to now. Thanks I love your reactions, and was taken aback to hear you have been attacked for you opinions. If you ever did down play the Warning I would probably disagree with you but still love your reactions and look forward to your next one.
That's the funny thing. I didn't. I said I love her performance and that she sounded great. And that I was impressed. I simply said it wasn't my favorite Creep performance. And I also said that Pau's piano playing seemed rather basic to me and it didn't appear she had played for very long. After all the comments, I went back and relistened and wouldn't change anything in my reaction lol. Thank you
It is only through the considered opinions and criticisms of others that we hear the feedback that helps us grow. In my working years, the most important annual performance review I received was also the most critical. I learned a lot from it. My boss was shocked when I thanked him for revealing my blind spots to me. In the context of music, this is why musicians work with third party producers. They objectively stretch the talent beyond what they believe they can do, as David Bendeth stretched The Warning when they recorded *ERROR.* They didn't always agree with him, but they learned a lot, and took with them what worked for them.
@@williamburkholder769Agreed on performance reviews and the same in my experience. My issue is not with people critiquing me. Not at all! It's for not allowing me to be honest and transparent as if I need to say what they are saying. That isn't growth, it's close mindedness and in some cases really bad attitudes. I can do without all that

Ignore the haters man. They don't know.
Superb analisys, thanks
TWA are protective of these ladies. I appreciate your honest reactions. You seem musically knowledgeable. Don’t give in to the haters. You’d miss a lot of great Warning performances if you do. There’s an interesting “perfect pitch” challenge you should check out. It’s funny, and 3 minutes long. Keep Rockin 🤘🕊❤️🤘
🕊 ✨ The Warning ✨ 🕊
Take care).
Thank you. The hilarious thing is that I LOVED Pau's version and I SAID THAT. I just simply said it wasn't my absolute favorite version of it lol
Great reaction! This cover is fire 🔥
You do you.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion! Unfortunately some feel it should be the same as theirs.
Appreciate honesty myself... Keep up the good work!
Welcome back Aaron. Check out some of their cuts from the Pepsi Center concert that they recently released. I would love to see your reaction to Pau playing Black Holes and Breathe on the piano from that show. Also some great heavier stuff there.
We'll be good. Maybe the pearl clutchers have left the discussion. 😂

Ignore the trolls. You do you.
I think the rythmic harmonics you heard were Paus brush in her right hand.
Hmm... I'll have to go back and listen but that's not the sound I recall. Thanks
Great cover, now lets move on to their great own stuff
So cool
@@A-AronReacts 😆👍
🤘⚡️🤘
Make sense?
I enjoy your reactions. You kinda remind me of B-Byron Reacts
No idea who that is but thank you
Welcome back.
TW🤟
Calm down, nerd... 🤣
😄 you can't!
Keep reacting to The Warning! There are definitely some idiot fans, and some creepy ones, too, to be honest. It boggles my mind how even a small amount of subjective criticism will set some of those morons off. Lol ... But, the vast majority of fans are really cool. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you for "the warning" on the fans
The Warning math. 100% times three equals 300%.
Umm no...lol...I think it's the gestalt ..100% times three equals 1000%
@@A-AronReacts Is your skinn thick enough to accept that "100% times three equals" one time three?
How come your video didn't show the offensive comments and only based correct comments. I normally defend reactors when viewers react to what the reactors claim in their video. Normally it's mostly with *"Get over it, it's only his personal opinion, nothing to be upset about"* but perhaps the offensive comments are deleted?
@@TheUnderdogDeSeveral were deleted and several were personal attacks sent to my email I chose not to include.
@@TheUnderdogDeAnd to be clear, I thought the 100% times three reference - and therefore my response - was commenting on the power of the 3 girls together and I was simply saying they are much more powerful united
Dany isn't on the bass!
Thanks ..I did correct myself like 10 seconds later or something like that
Ale is on bass not dany.
Yeah I corrected myself like 10 secs later...thanks
Ey, amigo. Si te has sentido "sensible" que los The Warning Army reaccionemos a tus reacciones, mejor no hagas reacciones de The Warning.
Porque si no puedes soportar que nosotros reaccionemos libremente a tus reacciones libres sobre The Warning, entonces hay una hipocresía solapada, ahi.
Los The Warning Army no somos fans pasivos. Sí haces una mala crítica a The Warning te lo haremos saber y sabremos criticar tu crítica.
Por qué tú puedes reaccionar libremente a The Warning y nosotros no podemos reaccionar libremente a tus reacciones?
No seamos hipócritas.
Gracias.
Get over it.
Sir. 1:15 in & I'm not watching anymore of your content. *WHY SHOULD I??* I don't know you. You can say anything here but the question is. *IS IT TRUE??*
But within that minute. You contradict yourself. One hand you claim you don't react to The Warning because some Warning fans thinks your full of it. Then on the other hand you claim to have thick skin.
*SO SIR, WHICH HAND IS IT??*
If you really had thick skin. You wouldn't be saying I don't react to this band because of comments made from their fans. *YOU'LL BE REACTING TO THE MUSIC & BAND ITSELF.*
Like you said.
@@oscararturo9043 Good. His attitude sucks and I won't be back.
If that wasn't the way you intended to sound... whatever.
@@astrogatorjones hey keyboard warrior! Get lost TWA doesn’t need people like you!
