Our deepest thanks again sheikh/brother, we cannot thank you enough so we make du'a for you and your family for tawfeeq, barakah and good health inshallah. Just a brief point on those outside of the religion who attack our notion of Jannah. Firstly, the narrative that Jannah is overly focused on material or lowly pleasures is a monstrous contradiction for those that do not believe in God, an afterlife or objective meaning- they themselves 'pursue their desires as their gods' and centre their entire lives around pleasures of sensoria, achievement and material gain. Allah the most Glorious is vindicating the believers who live balanced lives- while not 'forgetting their material portion of this world' i.e. still getting married, having kids, enjoying good food, homes etc- those that do not make this their focus but rather make their connection and mah'rifah of Allah the central pillar of their lives. Secondly, there are some theists from other religions that attack our notion of Jannah as too sensorious i.e. the pleasures offered to us do not reflect a spiritual existence. Like the sheikh mentioned, who are we to deny the very nature that Allah has put into us? Allah through his infinite hikma and iraadah has placed in us certain desires that must be limited in this life in order to attain closeness to him and thus his forgiveness and mercy. Further, expanding for us the opportunity for pleasure in the next life is a grand reward that befits His compassion and mercy. Our religion does not deny the body nor sexuality, nor does it problematize it in itself- as long as we do not exceed the limits dictated to us by God then we will keep our hearts and souls in check, while maintaining the sanctity of marriage, while fortifying our families and communities inshallah. May Allah unite us on good in this life and in the next.

Assalam Alaykum sir I have a few questions and I hope you will take notice of them and help us understand. The questions are that are men and women going to get their place in Jannah individually or will they be given their place in Jannah together as a couple? And what will happen in a situation where either the husband or wife has a higher level than the other? And what of the men who have more than one wife?

Great lecture. Can't leave it unappreciated. Jazak Allahu khair.
Also, do you know, you could make it more spiritual in nature and not with more complications,.
A more soothing way would be a treat as it is supposed to be.
Also, its never late to come back. Just leave everything behind and if possible just apologized. I know personally its very hard, maybe many of us have a massive ego, but if possible, do it. Walk the talk.

Because Shaitan was in there and the tree was also there which is forbidden. Nouman Ali Khan have a great explanation on this as well

Sheikh, can you explain what differentiates the levels and status of people in Jannah? You mentioned the elite and blessed. I don’t understand if we can have anything we desire in Jannah then what will the elite have that separates them from the rest?

    • @itruza3344

There are no elite status on that Jannah. Only their level of piety in this world are their statuses.

The lowest of jannah have everything that exist in this world by ten times. As for higher one, we cannot tell what they have other than this world because is something eye cant see, ear never heard and mind could ever imagine.

yeah I already the watched the video. Btw he actually mentions elites. Think of it this way... if in the lowest Jannah is ten times this world and one can have anything he desire, what separates it from the other levels of all can be had in the lowest level? That did not answer the question but thanks for trying. Very well Allah knows best.

Generally an advice to all muslims is, if someone is mocking you, MOCK THEM BACK. Don't justify or defend. Never defend.
And don't take it seriously. Of course, anything can be mocked. Its nust normal. I mean, don't be babies. I always mocks. Its not something serious, if someone mocks. Just let it go. Who cares.

Liver of whale is most likely the least accessable food in this world. As it's the first food for all people of Jannah then perhaps it means that Jannah has never ending shoals of whales and whales are the largest known animal to have ever lived on earth. So think of the smaller animals and the seas and lakes and oceans of Jannah. And Allah knows best.
Allah make us all Muslims and Muslims to be from the people of Jannah. Ameen.
