Islam is encapsulated in history and plays a major role in human history. If you don't know your history, you miss out on a lot of the deen, in my opinion at least lol.

Having power and wealth is a very difficult test from Allah. I have felt angry to a point imagining myself punishing my subordinate severely for disobeying me and it is truely a great feet to find patience and calmest not to do anything destructive. May Allah gives us patience, keep us humble and protect us from evil plans and action of people and jins, Amin.

This reminds me of the one who is reported to come on the day of Judgement with 99 scrolls filled with sins, each as long as the eyes can see, but a card of la ilaha ilallha. And the cards on which is written the shahadah will outweigh the 99 scrolls of sins. The man will be admitted into Al Jannah by Allah's Mercy. We should learn to leave people 's affairs to Allah noatter how much we may despise them or even pray against them.

The morals of Al-Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf cannot be challenged. All the sheikhs say: “Whatever good al-Hajjaj does is for him, and whatever evil he does is for him.” Even the Prophet did not call him an infidel when he predicted his arrival. Hadith of the Messenger, peace be upon him (He said, “from the tribe of Thaqif comes, a liar and a murderer.”) The liar was Musaylimah, who claimed to be a prophet, and the murderer was Al-Hajjaj It is true that Al-Hajjaj killed many of the Companions’ followers, and fought the person who was supposed to rule. But on the other hand, he was able to unite Muslims under one banner. Not only that, but he is the one who put dots and accents on the words of the Qur’an, so that today we can pronounce them correctly. He was also the one who eliminated the Takfiris in his time, the same Takfiris who killed Othman, may God be pleased with him. Most importantly of all, the greatest area in which Islam spread was during his time, when he sent his cousin Muhammad bin Al-Qasim, who was 16 years old, on the mission of spreading Islam in Pakistan, India, and Asia. I hope with all my heart that Allah will send us a man like Al-Hajjaj, so that he can bring us together and punish these evil people who rule our Muslim countries today, and they are like sheep. Our people are insulted in Jerusalem and all over the earth, and they are blind and mute.

Interestingly there's no mention of his eman in relation to the Prophet (pbuh). Anyone who curses Hazrat Ali says it all, Allah protect us from such sickness. May Allah protect us from cursing the Sahaba. May Allah protect us from cursing the salaf. May Allah protect us from cursing the Awliya.
Aameen Allah humma aameen. Perhaps there is no mention because once a soul departs for its Rabb, the matter is between the person and Allah. Sh. Yasir quotes this also.
It is easy to hear about a villain we can curse, but as for Hajjaj one part of me wants to curse him, and another part says that Allah is more merciful than how merciful he thinks of Allah. It gives me hope that by loving Quran, Allah will have mercy on me as the quantity of sins doesn't matter to Allah rather the quality of repentance matters. Indeed, Allah is Al-Ghafur and Al-Kareem.
I struggle to fathom the authenticity of bani Omaya. Regardless of Shia or Sunni theology, I mean Abu Sufyan only converted out of fear for his life and Muawia did not honor his treaty with Hassan Ibn Ali, Yazid did not even bother pretending to be a Muslim. Majority of Ummah do not despise them and I am eager to understand the reason.

Reward : say 3 times & Jannah itself will ask Allah to grant you Jannah (Al Tirmidhi 2572)

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi
Reward :
And he who utters: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’ one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الَْأرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillaahil-lathee laa yadhurru ma’as-mihi shay’un fil-‘ardhi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa Huwas-Samee ‘ul- ‘Aleem
Reward : Recite 3 times. Whoever recites it in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity before evening & whoever recites it in the evening will not be overtaken by any calamity before morning. (Abu Dawud 4/323, At-Tirmizi 5/465, Ibn Majah 2/332, Ahmad)

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Hasbiyallaahu laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa Huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Robbul-‘Arshil-‘Adheem
Reward : Allah Ta’ala will grant whoever recites this 7 times in the morning or evening whatever he desires from this world or the next. (Ibn As-Sunni (no. 71), Abu Dawud 4/321, Ibn As-Sunni. Quran 9:129)

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allaahumma Anta Rabbee laa ilaaha illaa Anta, khalaqtanee wa anaa ‘abduka, wa anaa ‘alaa ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mas-tata’tu, a’oothu bika min sharri maa sana’tu, aboo’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa aboo’u bithanbee faghfir lee fa’innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba ‘illaa Anta.
Reward : Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning & dies during that day shall enter Paradise. (Al-Bukhari 7/150, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: whoever recties ayatul kursi after every obligatory prayer then nothing stands on his way to paradise except death.

“Astaghfirullah al-’Azeem al-lazi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih ”
I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, The Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him
Reward : even if he has committed sins as much as the the foam of an ocean, still he will be forgiven. [Abu Dawud- 2:85/ Tirmidhi 5:569]

This reminds me of the one who is reported to come on the day of Judgement with 99 scrolls filled with sins, each as long as the eyes can see, but a card of la ilaha ilallha. And the cards on which is written the shahadah will outweigh the 99 scrolls of sins. The man will be admitted into Al Jannah by Allah's Mercy. We should learn to leave people 's affairs to Allah noatter how much we may despise them or even pray against them.
وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ خَٰلِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُۥ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُۥ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا
"Preachers do not care if the singer sings for the Caliph and the bellies of the slave girls shake at his voice, but they care completely if they see a tramp singing for himself or for the poor and needy people of his village"

The morals of Al-Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf cannot be challenged. All the sheikhs say: “Whatever good al-Hajjaj does is for him, and whatever evil he does is for him.”
Even the Prophet did not call him an infidel when he predicted his arrival. Hadith of the Messenger, peace be upon him (He said, “from the tribe of Thaqif comes, a liar and a murderer.”)
The liar was Musaylimah, who claimed to be a prophet, and the murderer was Al-Hajjaj
It is true that Al-Hajjaj killed many of the Companions’ followers, and fought the person who was supposed to rule. But on the other hand, he was able to unite Muslims under one banner.
Not only that, but he is the one who put dots and accents on the words of the Qur’an, so that today we can pronounce them correctly.
He was also the one who eliminated the Takfiris in his time, the same Takfiris who killed Othman, may God be pleased with him.
Most importantly of all, the greatest area in which Islam spread was during his time, when he sent his cousin Muhammad bin Al-Qasim, who was 16 years old, on the mission of spreading Islam in Pakistan, India, and Asia.
I hope with all my heart that Allah will send us a man like Al-Hajjaj, so that he can bring us together and punish these evil people who rule our Muslim countries today, and they are like sheep. Our people are insulted in Jerusalem and all over the earth, and they are blind and mute.

It is easy to hear about a villain we can curse, but as for Hajjaj one part of me wants to curse him, and another part says that Allah is more merciful than how merciful he thinks of Allah.
It gives me hope that by loving Quran, Allah will have mercy on me as the quantity of sins doesn't matter to Allah rather the quality of repentance matters.

Regardless of Shia or Sunni theology, I mean Abu Sufyan only converted out of fear for his life and Muawia did not honor his treaty with Hassan Ibn Ali, Yazid did not even bother pretending to be a Muslim. Majority of Ummah do not despise them and I am eager to understand the reason.
He delayed salah.. Killed sahaba.. And u say he loves quran.. How can that be.. He loved duniya and wanted to be powerful..
He just passes on what ulamah and Muslim historians transmit about Hajjaaj based on akhbaar of his сontemporaries.
