How To Install the Cadillac Electronic Ignition Conversion

Our Caddy Daddy electronic ignition conversion kit eliminates the points and condenser on your Cadillac distributor. Yes, it will work in your 1967 Deville. It is very easy to install. There are instructions in the listings on Caddy Daddy's website

Our electronic ignition conversion (SKU 1181) will work in your '56 Olds. The original coil should work fine as long as it is in good condition.

With this conversion do you remove the resistance wire? Mine burned up? Would you guys happen to have the pig tail that plugs into the back of the ignition for a 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood 4 door with the 429 engine?

The resistor or resistor wire should be removed from the ignition conversion.
