Thanks for doing this video.. I’m in the middle of building a 1975 500ci with Holley sniper2 I really want to put a dual sync ignition system on it also.. so I should be able to use the Holley hyper spark BBC set up as it has the adjustable slip collar
Incorrect ... Distributor will not fit ...the bottom would need to be machined and a larger diameter press on collar machined to fit the block .... To use any Chevy distributor in a Cadillac takes a machinist to modify it
Scott...In the 1990's we installed the wider cap HEI distributor from my 1975 Fleetwood into my 1970 SDV. It popped in easy but the double pulley issue was resolved by only using the forward belt. There has been no probs with the single belt. Sometimes I wonder why the need for dual belts?
There is a new revolutionary distributor out that is called progression ignition. It uses the technology from fuel injection to build custom timing curves with no moving parts and is adjustable by your cell phone via Bluetooth. It might be worth a look.
oh wow that's the first I've heard of a neutral review on them. I've been checking them out and the reviews are all great. Is there any reliability issues with that distributor?

I was able to make a adapter collar on a sbc hyperspark distributor to get holley sniper timing control to work.

I have used one on a Ford ...it's interesting but expensive and no real gain ...

@@plumcrazy588 not that I know about... The thing is you don't really change timing that much on a car ... Once the curve is close you are done
