If there’s no new tech stuff on this bike, why buy it brand new.You can buy a 2011 low mileage one that is basically 95% performance of the latest model but half the price.
In my area all the 750s are like 7-9k+ for all the 2011 and higher models with 10k+ miles. There are leftover new left over 2018/2019 for 8-10k at all the dealerships. Buy new left over is where its at.
The GSX-R750 is honestly perfect in terms of power and performance for me. I have ridden the 1000 and the 1300 as well as an 2016 R1 that had a Dyno sheet placing it around 190 to the rear wheel, but the 750 is still the one that stands out in my mind.
I love my 2012 gsxr 750. Upgraded from a 600 and you can definitely feel a difference in power/torque without much weight penalty. Hope Suzuki updates and keeps the 750 alive

I have a 2011 GSX-R750 (first year of the new generation) and it makes a good highway and commuter bike and fun in the mountains of course. Lots more torque than a 600 for traffic, B mode for riding in the rain, good wind protection with zero Gravity Corsa screen. Very reliable and strong running and easy to maintain. Recalled 2011 front brake master cylinder and rear axle adjuster block replaced under recall/warranty. Blue and white. Replaced the white front fender with a blue one from the 600 resulting in the best color scheme ever. M4 slip on with baffle sounds great and rear foot peg delete, now significantly lighter than a stock 600. Stock exhaust is long, heavy, and too quiet.

Phenomenally underrated motorcycle. Super simple and very lightweight. Incredibly easy to ride consistently on track, very smooth throttle, and easy on tires compared to past literbikes I've owned. A good foundation for making it your own. Add steel braided lines, Brembo RCS master cylinder, a quick-shifter and a set of proper tires, and you have a sleeper motorcycle that will surprise the latest/greatest literbike riders on track. Get a year-old new leftover off the showroom for less than two-thirds MSRP, and you will be happy, even coming from a modern over-the-top literbike (well, I did just that and I have no regrets 😊).

Here in the UK we don't offer the 600 or 750 so I was pleased to see they're still making them! It's an option for me (5'6") to have an amazing supersport motorcycle with a 810mm seat height! I'm so getting one!
I have a 2014 GSXR1000, my buddy has a 2017 GSXR750 and we would switch (during rides) once in while. I wouldn't trade permanently of course, but I think I enjoyed riding the 750 more. It had good usable power around town, and I could get it out of second gear without breaking ALL the speed laws
i feel like it has to be said- ALL middleweight sportbikes (apart from the 636) are a decade old at this point- look at the cbr and r6, those things are older than this! daytona 765 too, same platform for well over 5 years- people don't buy enough of these to warrant investing into the class, hence the slow updates and high prices. shame, i agree.
That’s not the case. If apple made the same iPhone year after year people would never upgrade. It’s the same with motorcycles. There’s no need to upgrade when it’s the same bike year after year
My boy has a 2016 one. Sweet bike, very comfortable, the weight and size is perfect for me and fyi I’m 5’8 185lbs. I go to the gym regularly so the weight is something I can handle. The ergonomics are great as well, probably the most comfortable japanese bike I’ve ridden. My comment about my weight and height are for people who are on edge if they can fit comfortably on it. My boy is 5’10 and he also agrees that it’s comfortable. Well, it’s his bike so I hope so. Power is amazing on this too, if I were to choose a 600cc bike, I’d jump on this instead
Just bought a new but leftover 2019 Aprilia Tuono RR for $14,900 out the door Tax,title, everything...plus the dealer threw in a Leo Vince mid pipe LV-10 exhaust and are re-mapping it for shits and giggles. My point is if you are buying a new SportBike for a $12,500 MSRP they should at least update the damn thing. Suzuki doesn’t even seem like they give a shit anymore
@@robertpowers1045 That's a really nice deal, but that's not going to happen in all markets. A quick calculation based on the fees I was told last time I was at a dealer would leave a price of roughly 13k, without the exhaust or mapping. I highly doubt you can get that in the NYC tristate, would be awesome but I doubt it. Edit: 13k for just the bike.
Have the 2012. Never had a problem with it. 34K. Running on s21 stones and loving her still. Had a 97 since new and sold it after 15 years 110K. I love analog bikes. It’s all you! If they weren’t selling Suzuki wouldn’t keep making them. I got mine new for just under $11k cad in 2012. Awesome value!
Watching you from London UK. I currently ride a BMW F850gs. I like all types of bikes and that’s why MC commute is on of my fav channels to watch with your honest in depth reviews filled with pure enthusiasm on the different bikes. I would like to have test ridden this gsx750 but I don’t think it’s available here due to the lack of ABS on it
I have a 2007 with some Ohlins suspenders and breathed on brakes, that I only use on track. It's the perfect track bike for the UK's tight and twisty circuits, and I love it 👍
Till date, my favourite ride is still my 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7R. Although it has barely ~70% the hp of modern super bikes & everything analog & manual, it definitely is alot more fun to ride ☺
For years I rode a 1998 Honda CBR600. I still miss that bike 🥺 I now ride a Harley V-Rod which is very nice and more comfortable but not the same fun as that high revving CBR engine....
I don’t pretend to be able to push any modern sport bike to its limit but for me no traction control and manual shifting have always added to the adrenaline rush of riding! Its a SKILL! that requires practice! it may show my age but I really love riding a mechanical motorcycle and have no interest in riding a computer.
RAW!!! Minimal Electronic BS & Bulletproof reliability in 2020!!! All rider input, thank you Suzuki!! Mr Waheed, TOTALY ENJOY your work with the Mc Commute Series! Very informative and always On Point with the questions I’d have when spending copious amounts of loot... So Rad to see ya push this bike in the light that it was engineered for, LOVE IT!!!!😎👍
Suzuki's GSX-R line reminds me of Nissan's performance cars. They both come out with great cars, but it's super outdated compared to the competition; like the 370z for example. There's almost no reason to buy a brand new bike apart from the peace of mind knowing the entire history of the bike and that it hasn't been abused.
Freaking love this bike. I got a 2017 and replaced front lines and put a brembro rcs master cylinder on. Brakes are great for track now. Thanks for the content
Thank you Adam. I like how you do your videos. I have a 19 zx-6r, and after pc5, pipe, bmc air filter and dyno flash it all most makes the same power. So no I would not trade...thanks
Great review, Adam. Track and street commute appreciated on this kind of bike. I'm also glad that you answered my biggest question in your commutes- "how does it compare to the competition?" (e.g. 636). Well done!
This POV is more professional than 90% of the other POV riding impressions of the GSX-R 750. I have been riding and racing for over 30 years and am now seriously looking at this bike for its analog (i.e. cable throttle), more visceral and non-binary experience. Not to mention 415lbs fully-fueled? And that intake sound!
Another great MC Commute commentary, Adam. "I know wheelies are illegal...but I like doing them." Thanks to you and everyone at Motorcyclist Magazine for the ride and review. For me, it would be nice if you let the bike do all the talking on the final lap at the track.
This is a great bike at that price. To all those saying get a used one, you will for sure have to spend money on regreasing headbearings, replacing bad bushings, checking valve clearances etc. You might even end up spending more than what this bike costs new if you wanted to respring/revalve suspension. It just depends on how far you are willing to go to ensure your motorcycle is in good condition. Sure you can ride a clapped out pre-crashed and neglected motorcycle for a lot less. I still do that on my 03 sv650. But if im going to be tracking a similar bike i would either spend a lot of time with TLC on a used one or just buy this one new. Also as soon as suzuki updates this with abs and throttle by wire people will remiss the good old days. If you want all that you can buy pretty much any other modern supersport.
This is a perfect bike. No bullshit, just a straight up good bike that also looks amazing. Free of tft-dash and silly electronics that's unfortunate on almost every modern bike. Ideally it should be free from rider modes as well.
Without any doubts, the 2007 GSXR, is the most beautiful. It looks the most dynamic. I have one with the 600 Engine in all Black, without any sticker on it. Black windshield, Black front and Back Lights, Black Footbegs and so on. Its always a eye-catcher and no one believes, that this bike is from 2007. Also the exhaust is so decent and small, it often looks so ridiculous with the Big Exhausts .
9:47 i was at the New York motorcycle show back in 2014 looking for my second bike and for fun sat on several super sports. The Gsxr bikes all had the softest seats, the Hayabusa also had a super soft and cushy seat. Gsxs 1000f that i saw at the dealer confirmed that it, also had a soft and comfy seat. Going with that machine for 2021 season, time for something sporty, something different but manageable
It's like y'all heard my wishes! I've been looking everywhere for a review on the 2020, I know it's the same as before but still 😂 so disappointed it still hasn't gotten any cool tech like other brands.. well at least that means I can save money and get a 2017-2018 with 0km and it'll be the same bike..

I love this bike. They are awesome to ride. I have ridden for over 50 years and wish I could get another one 👍👍
2018 gsxr750 was my first bike, love this thing to death
08 to 2010 was the best looking design in my opinion. This is still a sweet bike tho.
AGREED
Thanks for doing these videos during the quarantine. 🙏
Best sports bike headlight.
Oh wow I was expecting this ..addicted to its exhaust Note ..! Huge GSXS 750 fan .
Love the sound of these bikes, harleys noise is bullshit
It’s the intake you hear!
i feel like it has to be said- ALL middleweight sportbikes (apart from the 636) are a decade old at this point- look at the cbr and r6, those things are older than this! daytona 765 too, same platform for well over 5 years- people don't buy enough of these to warrant investing into the class, hence the slow updates and high prices. shame, i agree.
@Carbon Fiber Weiner CBR600RR got disocuntinued in the UK last year. Doesn't meet the new euro emissions.
@Carbon Fiber Weiner the r6 got new fairings. That's it. Nothing else.
That’s not the case. If apple made the same iPhone year after year people would never upgrade. It’s the same with motorcycles. There’s no need to upgrade when it’s the same bike year after year
@@sivvinod3187 lower HP too.
@@zipper978😂 iPhone ripping of people.
Suzuki keeps making old bikes new. Really old timer sport bike. I liked, but for 12,5 grant? I pass...
StrikerSG I bought mine brand new for 10,000
Just bought a new but leftover 2019 Aprilia Tuono RR for $14,900 out the door Tax,title, everything...plus the dealer threw in a Leo Vince mid pipe LV-10 exhaust and are re-mapping it for shits and giggles. My point is if you are buying a new SportBike for a $12,500 MSRP they should at least update the damn thing. Suzuki doesn’t even seem like they give a shit anymore
Grand* ?
Considering inflation..... 12 grand is still a good price I think. So happy we still have a Japanese 750
I would like to have test ridden this gsx750 but I don’t think it’s available here due to the lack of ABS on it
I love gsxr 750 thanks Adam ❤❤
One of the best mc commutes, just owing to the track part. Good job, guys!
I have a 2007 with some Ohlins suspenders and breathed on brakes, that I only use on track. It's the perfect track bike for the UK's tight and twisty circuits, and I love it 👍
Jeez, I didn't know the 750s put out so much power. That's a friggin fast bike.
I read online that they were so quick on the track that all the other manufacturers stopped making em
Just bought a 2011 and it’s amazing. Smooth and handles great. Best bike I’ve ridden. Not as comfortable as my Fz09 of course
Great evaluation of a great machine. I just bought a 750cc 2022, Suzuki GSXR has always been my dream bike.
I still find the 2006-2008 models better looking.
06/09 was deffo the best all round with the 06/07 being the most desirable and hold the best values alongside GSXR1100
04-05
I must be an oddball. The 2008-2010 was my all time favourite sportbike design
This was honestly a very well executed review. Well done brother.
Pauly Shore reviewing motorcycles is something I didn’t know I needed
Till date, my favourite ride is still my 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7R. Although it has barely ~70% the hp of modern super bikes & everything analog & manual, it definitely is alot more fun to ride ☺
For years I rode a 1998 Honda CBR600. I still miss that bike 🥺 I now ride a Harley V-Rod which is very nice and more comfortable but not the same fun as that high revving CBR engine....
A proper sports bike lovely
I don’t pretend to be able to push any modern sport bike to its limit but for me no traction control and manual shifting have always added to the adrenaline rush of riding! Its a SKILL! that requires practice!
it may show my age but I really love riding a mechanical motorcycle and have no interest in riding a computer.
I still have my 1989 gsxr 750 runs and looks great 🔥
Always one of my favorites
So Rad to see ya push this bike in the light that it was engineered for, LOVE IT!!!!😎👍
We always enjoy watching you give anything the beans! Great review Adam!
I bought this same color 2020 and it was $10.5k out the door. Caught em during a sale i guess. I love the bike despite no new tech, it’s still fun.
Could have gotten a newer 1000 for that price.
@@2wheelsonly614Used 2017 GSXR 1k arent even that cheap yet, not in this area at least. But I’ll definitely be looking for one next though
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - Suzuki. Love the GSXR, can't wait to jump on a 750 later this year.
Agree
Suzuki's GSX-R line reminds me of Nissan's performance cars. They both come out with great cars, but it's super outdated compared to the competition; like the 370z for example. There's almost no reason to buy a brand new bike apart from the peace of mind knowing the entire history of the bike and that it hasn't been abused.
...and has a warranty.
Its not out dated as it has no competition, this is why it will remain a ledgend
Freaking love this bike. I got a 2017 and replaced front lines and put a brembro rcs master cylinder on. Brakes are great for track now. Thanks for the content
Badass bike...I read online that Suzuki 750's smoked all other brands on the track and they all quit making 750's after
I just purchased the 2020, my black widow will always own my heart
I really love when you went "oh my god" at that intersection lol
Yeah the suv wasnt aware enough to see pedestrians.. shoukd have went since bike couldn't.. sad
Thank you Adam. I like how you do your videos. I have a 19 zx-6r, and after pc5, pipe, bmc air filter and dyno flash it all most makes the same power. So no I would not trade...thanks
Another brilliant vid keep them coming
Bought mine about 2 weeks ago the same exact one !
Me too. 💪🏼💯
Great review, Adam. Track and street commute appreciated on this kind of bike. I'm also glad that you answered my biggest question in your commutes- "how does it compare to the competition?" (e.g. 636). Well done!
I loved the old school feel of this bike! when companies are giving traction control on sub 400cc bike :}{
For sure. IMO one needs to learn throttle control without any gizmo interference and as Adam says most bikes up to 750 don’t need TC
ABS didn’t save my buddy from dying on his ninja 400 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@NudaMan I'm sorry for your loss.
TheNiceBiker sincere condolences
superbarnie thank you, it was a great day when I met him but ended tragic 😪
Bought a new 750 in 91 now I’m on a Busa still wish I had my 750 back great ride and all around fun
If you are considering a 600 you have to test out one of these. Much more exciting with no downside. You can find these new for 10k all day.
This is a perfect bike. No bullshit, just a straight up good bike that also looks amazing. Free of tft-dash and silly electronics that's unfortunate on almost every modern bike. Ideally it should be free from rider modes as well.
This dude rides, talks like he invented motorcycles. 5 star review hands down
Without any doubts, the 2007 GSXR, is the most
beautiful. It looks the most dynamic.
I have one with the 600 Engine in all Black, without
any sticker on it. Black windshield, Black front and Back
Lights, Black Footbegs and so on.
Its always a eye-catcher and no one believes, that this bike
is from 2007.
Also the exhaust is so decent and small, it often looks
so ridiculous with the Big Exhausts .
Suzuki, please please please give us a new 750. Don't let the legend die!
Probably the best Suzuki you can buy. I'm a Beemer rider :)
Really liked the track day at the end of the video.
But why did you wish this
Same nobody’s done a 2020 review until now!
@@Mmyers1177
Probably because it's pointless if it's the same as past years..
Man I just got one and I fucking love it !
Kno a guy with just over 100k miles on it. Still going strong...
