The manual seems to indicate the relay output can be wired for 230v, but its not clear how this is done. The 24vdc is covered here, but I’m hoping to use this relay yo run a very small pump (less than .5A). I have this ACS150, single PH 230v input, output 240v 3ph to 3HP motor. When I pull the trigger (remote button on saw arm) I want to use this relay to fire the pump, just like lighting a “running light”. Any ideas,

Hi.i have this installation for small motor.it uses 1-phase incoming supply and outgoing 3- phase. How does it happen? Is there any transformer intergrated in this ACS 150?
If there is a fault, the supply to the motor is cut off due to the OLR in my power circuit. Then how does the red indicator bulb glow? When there is no power to the VFD?
5th terminal from left should be the +24volt output but you will also need a jumper from com to gnd so you can use the internal 24volt supply for your inputs.
digital input is the contact from relay or switch, analog input is either voltage or current which comes from sensors analog outpur or other devices has analog output..
Ahh well let me assume that you mean the ACS550, because there is no such drive as ACS5050, ok? The drive defaults to the Analog input 1 or AI1 at X1 terminals 2, 3, and 4. Do you have a copy of the User manual for this dirve?
yes it is acs550. i had downloded its user manual from abb website. It was running on remote mode by using speed pot but person who was handling this drive before me had done something to it and now pot is not working some parameters are also missing i can only change rpm by drive keypad prameter 11 ,1105. please help
Ok if you have keypad ACS-CP-A first make sure you have the "REM" symbol in the upper left corner of the display, (remote mode) if not simply push the LOC/REM button to put back into remote mode of operation. If still doesn't work you may have to default the drive.
Yes this drive can be used in the UK, it meets all US, UK and European stardardsWe suggest connecting the Neutral and Earth ground wires together at the drives chassis ground terminals. Connect the line phases L1, L2 and L3 to U1, V1 and W1 terminals on the drive only. There is also an EMC filter built into the drive, depending on your particular power feed system, you may want to change the plastic screw to metal screw to connect the EMC filter and make it active. Hope this helps.
i have purchased two Si-EtherCat modules from Galco they gave me ,they gave 67 lead time ,i waited ,after 67 days they say i will only get them in January 2023 ,i have requested refund to no avail ,i need help
no,actually i am not able to start the drive,I mean please tell me how to start the drive,I have ABB ACS 150 drive,0.75KW ABB make AC motor,3 phase supply,is there anything else to start the drive
Hey, We'll help you get your drive up and running, so we'll start with some questions for you and work from there. Let’s start with “Does display light up?” If so, look for “LOC” in upper left corner of display. If says REM, push the LOC/REM button to indicate LOC. Then push the start button (with green symbol on it) and turn up the speed pot on face of the drive. If it still doesn’t run, then what does the display say, is it faulted?
Ok Shrikant, So this means that you do not have the drive wired up yet, correct? Is the drive mounted yet? Line Power leads to U1 V1 W1, ground wire to chassis terminal. Motor leads to U2 V2 W2, ground wire to chassis terminal. Do you have a manual available? We can link you to one if you need it.
Huh. So you don't need to bolt the motor down to see if it works or not. I was taught to always bolt it down. But I guess it's only really needed when it actually has some working load to it. To stop it from going around.
Looks like you have a problem with your output power wiring. Please verify you have the input line power connected to U1 V1 W1 and motor leads connected to U2 V2 W2, very critical. If ok then verify your grounds are connected per the manual recommendations.
I would like to purchase a potentiometer to remotely control the speed of this unit. Where do I find the specs for this potentiometer?
HELLO THERE. IF I ONLY USE THE START/STOP INPUT IN REMOTE MODE, WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THE DRIVE´S POTENCIOMETER ?

Can you please tell me in comment box for the third common wire of both led
Hi I'm looking for analog output wiring (motor speed)
very good explanation
Thanks a lot, Madame.
If there is a fault, the supply to the motor is cut off due to the OLR in my power circuit. Then how does the red indicator bulb glow? When there is no power to the VFD?
Where does Katie connect the +24V Source to in her setup? Trying to wire up the ABB ACS150 for a momentary contact paddle switch.
5th terminal from left should be the +24volt output but you will also need a jumper from com to gnd so you can use the internal 24volt supply for your inputs.
When I press reverse pushbutton its shows REV on the acp and I get 24v on DI2 but the motor doesn't run in reverse direction.
Any solutions please?
How to select vfd for motor can you guide
What is digital input & analog input plz mention. thanks
digital input is the contact from relay or switch, analog input is either voltage or current which comes from sensors analog outpur or other devices has analog output..
@@sircmanaloto1296 thanks
i had installed pot but it is not controling, which parameter should i change that speed could be controled by pot and i am using acs5050-01-045a-4

How to fix alarm a5031
have a nice day
excellent video thanks
Thanks
hi I like your video I would like to know how to connect a potentiometer to use it remotely thanks
The Speed pot can easily be wired remotely , just make sure you use shielded cable and only ground the shield at the drive's chassis ground, ok?
Is this machine suitable for a 5 pin UK 3 phase plug? 3 Phase + N + E.
Yes this drive can be used in the UK, it meets all US, UK and European stardardsWe suggest connecting the Neutral and Earth ground wires together at the drives chassis ground terminals.
Connect the line phases L1, L2 and L3 to U1, V1 and W1 terminals on the drive only.

thanks for this video
please make video about flowneter setting
thanks my vdf working very well
Glad we could help
Good video!
Hello! Frome where has nc/no indicator negative wire tekena? Please replay me.
Forgive us, but your question makes no sense, can you ask in a different way?
What does U and I stand for on the input switch?
The U stands for voltage input (0-10volt input), and the I makes it a current input (0-20ma).
All videos good
thanks you
can somebody tell me what is the part number of the motor?
i have purchased two Si-EtherCat modules from Galco they gave me ,they gave 67 lead time ,i waited ,after 67 days they say i will only get them in January 2023 ,i have requested refund to no avail ,i need help
Heaven on earth
hello Katie i am not able to start this drive,is it necessary to connect AI
I have connected 3 phase mains & motor connection but drive not starting
Hello,
Is the drive in local or remote mode, and have you attempted to configure the drive yet?
no,actually i am not able to start the drive,I mean please tell me how to start the drive,I have ABB ACS 150 drive,0.75KW ABB make AC motor,3 phase supply,is there anything else to start the drive

only display light up,it shows nothing.its a new drive.
Ok Shrikant,

Line Power leads to U1 V1 W1, ground wire to chassis terminal.
Motor leads to U2 V2 W2, ground wire to chassis terminal.

hi thier was any job in uae on goloco service center
Not sure what you are asking, can you ask a different way?

Hi i'm a i want to ask you
What's the definition of GND ?
Ground
In this video you didn't tell us the third wire of both led where we connect
very nice
Thanks!
Thanks
nice video

Please help me for overcoming the error -F0035 in ACS 150
Looks like you have a problem with your output power wiring. Please verify you have the input line power connected to U1 V1 W1 and motor leads connected to U2 V2 W2, very critical. If ok then verify your grounds are connected per the manual recommendations.
I checked input supply between R & Y =398volt, Y &B =398V and B&R =405 V. But this error continue after a fraction of minutes
I also disconnected output wires which were for motor but still condition was same
Please reference the terminal numbers
Input power supply OK
