😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

Buying an EV at any time is a bad idea .its an old idea repackage 👎👎👎👎
Check out China. they are blowing up.
Okay, if you are old and play golf.
EVs are great for people who love fires!
Who wants to get in line to wait for hours for your kiddie car to power up? No one.
95% of all EV's are still on the road. The other 5% made it home!
Excellent
That’s one of the most amusing comments I’ve ever read … was it original?
@@penguinvic9892 Yes. I originally stole from somewhere else!
@@clarkridlen1966 You must still be congratulated for posting this … as in a good joke is timeless and belongs to us all !!
Lol
If the EV was a viable solution, the government wouldn't need mandates and legislation to force the people to buy them.
Sales figures always suffer when the truth gets out.
We've reached Planet Saving Virtue Signaller (PSVS) saturation point. Once every PSVS has their EV, things change.
They are too expensive and are often useless in severely cold weather.
No one wants second hand evs. They will be hard to sell, making them not a good purchase in the first place.
Right, what used EVs will the poor drive. They won't last.
But...but...but.....recycling !!!
SAYS WHO ???
The only green technology with the EV market is to see how much green they can get out of your wallet for a pile of junk.
L😂L $💲$💲$
Insurance costs and repair bills? Limited battery life and performance in cold weather? Charging issues and battery fires? Why are they not mentioned?
An interesting EV story from Melbourne, Australia. A wealthy man drove his EV about 140 kms to a friend’s home on Phillip Island with the idea of recharging over night and driving to work the next day. A severe storm caused a blackout lasting more than 4 days leaving the wealthy man a lot worse off than, say, a poor man who had run out of petrol for his budget priced small car … because the poor man could always walk to a service station with an empty petrol can … etc. What does the wealthy man do?
Because AI doesn't create the best scripts when it creates crap content for TH-cam for the express purpose of getting views for ad-revenue.

@@penguinvic9892
Tell that to people caught in Florida, no petrol from a week before the storm hit and none for about 4 weeks after. Only 1 tesla supercharger went down for a day.
Plus solar charging as well.
The entire automotive industry is down not just tesla and since tesla shares are down I can add more to my portfolio at a cheaper price so all good to me
And all those burgers while waiting for a charge... never mentioned.
The only people that wanted EVs were the green lobby and politicians, not the general public.
Nope. It wasn't the hippies or the back room fat cats. It was people focused on one aspect of the EV benefits, That was households with multiple cars to fall back on. These more affluent consumers are disillusioned. EV exhaust doesn't smell as good as it once did.
Typical.
The typical EV buyer is a wealthy, politically liberal, homeowner (with a private garage/charger) that also owns at least one other (usually ICE) vehicle. They use the EV around town (to virtue signal) so they can charge at home, and use the ICE vehicle for long trips. For this set of people, EVs are fine. For most of the rest of people, not so much.

You are correct!!.
Your'e spot on. Climate change a fantasy written and produced by the the WEF!
Amen. And most of the electricity is made from hydrocarbons.
Not to mention, even if the world changed to EV it will not make a difference to climate change.
The premise that EVs are being pushed is an absolute scam !
Add to that , EVs are inferior to a good ICE vehicle in so many ways.
Batteries are dirty and pollutive to manufacture , and they are a very expensive consumable that will degrade and need replacement as the Ev ages .
Add to that, in any event where an EV catches fire, the pollution from the battery and risk to life is great .
In short EVs have many cons and not many pros.
And for transparency a family member has one , but clearly my 7 year old big ice sedan is more versatile and just better in so many ways, I won’t buy an EV.
Absolutely zero interest in evs at present time! Not practical for my needs!
And bloody dangerous.
Ev's once the novelty wears off the headaches begin.
Tesla has recalled all 3878 Cybertruck for the truck accelerate problem
Its a fraud😂
These cars are just like cell phones. Disposable items. Not too great for the environment. Not to mention how much value they will lose in a very short amount of time.
What’s killing electric cars is
1. Cost of battery replacement.
2. Higher registration costs
3. Tire replacement intervals and costs
4. Home infrastructure cost.
5. Higher insurance cost.
6. Range anxiety.
7. Charging speed and availability of infrastructure..
8. The truth about lithium.
9. High cost of entry
Once those truths became apparent, the market completely dropped.
I like to refer to Honda motorcycles when they discontinued one of their fan favorite models, “Everybody that wanted one, has one”
Their actual uselessness…
EVs are a niche product.
… for the rich.
A “not” market. But still “hot,” if you know what I mean?!
They have their place, well said
For the smart.
@grenenthomas8115 there's an old saying, " People can be so smart, they become stupid."
The reason growth has slowed is that anyone who could afford one or where the car met the owner's practicality needs now already has one. EVs only meet practicality requirements for about 15% of the US car market.
Not reliable. Too fancy useless auto drive, and just too damn expensive. Now does your battery pack last more than 5 years? Hmmmmm kinda shot themselves in the foot.
Uber has a thing about becoming all electric fleet by 2030 while their drivers in many north American markets only make like 10-15 dollars an hour driving uber.
They’re dreaming fantasy!
When the batteries cost as much as replacing the vehicle they are indeed disposable trash doubling their manufacturing carbon footprint compared to ICEs that have more than double the vehicle life.
after 2 year battery replacement hybrid car, high cost
Most people that have an ev have 1or2 ice vehicles as back up
Buying an ev is like an very expensive game of russian roulette you never know when its going to explode into flames, repairs way to high, resale way to low, range way to low.
And it is way too expensive compared to budget priced petrol cars 🚙.
You can guarantee any slightly moderate damage will result in the vehicle being totaled, insurance companies are bothering with repairing battery packs and nobody is going to certify a damaged pack. There's too much liability.
It is puzzling to me how anybody can still call EV’s « a green technology » ???
Wow, they found 25 people stupid enough to buy an EV truck.
Real popular in the S.F. Bay area with all the lefties, but not so much everywhere else.
The command economy on disposable electric cars is a joke. Good riddance!
E.V. has failed😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
EV's are Trash! ! ! ! !
Very soon EV's are going to be hit with very high tax bills. Those who drive these extra heavy cars and trucks need to start paying for the damage they are doing to the infrastructure. They will have to pay $1 to $3 per mile and probably much more in stupidfornia. At that time we will see just many will still want these pieces of junk.
Not only that, When they have your Azz in all electric vehicles they will Jack up electricity rates into the stratosphere
That extra weight also translates into more extensive damage in an accident.
Ev's the solution to a non existing problem. Co2 is not a problem, it is plant food.
What middle class?
You have to think, would you ever want to fly in an electric airplane. I wouldn't and this is what the government wants to do everything
My next door neighbour just spent 8500 euros on the replacement battery of her small 7 year old car...... MAD
Yes mad indeed. Buy intelligently
You can always sell EVs as iPads on wheels 😂
If it not broken, don’t fix it
Those charging stations with the solar panels for decoration. Those don't even produce enough to power the lights under the canopy. What a F ing joke
Every reversal happens just when the market guys say the gravy train is going to chug along forever.
Excellent!!! Especially since EV’s produce 3X CO2 footprint over comparable ICE vehicles!!!
Having one is like having an old friend staying in your garage
You are going to work he is there watching your car , whatever you buy it's to share,he washes it even if it's raining and he doesn't want to get in the house no matter what
The kids know that his house is still repaired after the solar panels broke the roof
I mean they won't do anything to upset him
The pinche EVs are raising everybodies car insurance.
i suppose you can only sell electric to people who dont know how electricity is made ?
What?
On top of all the EV performance shortcomings are the shocking and horrific working conditions in African open pit mines producing minerals for the batteries. Selling these vehicles under the ESG auspices while exploiting these workers is grotesque hypocrisy.
ESG only purpose is to force behaviors, search for BlackRock CEO forcing behaviors and you will see what ESG really is about.
BLOOD BATTERIES
...meanwhile, the company everyone laughed at (Toyota) can't make hybrids fast enough to meet demand.
Be careful on this view. Hybrids are not really much better at reducing emissions than ice cars and that is the primary reason for ev’s. It may be myopic at this point to think the path forward isn’t electric. Battery tech will advance and hopefully more competitive options will become available. Personally think two vehicle owners may opt for one ice and one electric. Hybrid doesn’t make sense in the short term imho.
@@nickdeagle3271 electric is not going to fix the climate.
It will decided by the millions and billions of of dirt poor people in the subcontinent and Asian who have a daily struggle to eat and will drive ice cars until the end of time.
The electric effort by the comparative wealthy will improve nothing
@@nickdeagle3271 You keep saying that. And the ICE engines actually evolve and morph into cleaner longer lasting vehicles.
@@nickdeagle3271 So, just so I understand your point clearly -
1. "Hybrids are not really much better at reducing emissions than ice cars..." - so, even with hybrid technology, which burns less fuel, the level of particulate emissions is the same? Please explain how, exactly...

@@vernonhampton6973 Thanks for your response and questions. 1. E missions are not as low as represented by the manufacturer. The are much closer to their fully gas equivalents. Hybrid RAV4 vs the 2.5l non hybrid option is approximately 2 l per 100 km better but not as dranmatic as you mention below. Now if you only drive short distances with lots of regen (urban), you will do better. It does depend on the driver’s needs and their environment. Cold is not so good for the hybrid economy. 2. Yes my knowledge of future tech and directions is extremely limited to mainstream ideas and knowledge from a user’s perspective. 3. Yes my opinion and I’m honest or at least believe I am. 😀. 4. Personal experience with my wife’s car and my work colleague. Anecdotal, as a small sample, but in our environment travelling frequently, there was not enough difference to draw me to a hybrid choice. RAV4 base is a really good option for sure. It would take a long time to make up the difference in price between the models. Your fuel costs may be significantly different than mine, but I’m extremely pleased with the non hybrid option. As a second vehicle, with more local travel, I would purchase the Bev over the phev or hybrid.
Many, many more years. If ever. I doubt that enough capital will "stick around" to make the necessary tech changes. I really think EVs will remain far less than 20% of the cars on the road for a very long time. Treat an early-2000s truck right and it can see 350k miles in many parts of the US
The bottom line is that the government pushed EVs before it was ready.. Not to mention the strip mining being done for the batteries. Creating another ecological disaster to slow another is not the answer..
EV’s… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Service centers are sparce, except in major metropolitan areas. The rest of America is looking at having their vehicles carried an hour or more away to a repair facility. While in every small town, is a mechanic competent enough to do the basic repair on 90% of the ICE vehicles that roll into their shop.
Try to get one repaired when it goes wrong My friends car has been in the garage for 3 weeks I warned him not to buy an E V now he hires a diesel car to get to work
Electric cost is very expensive, tires, batteries, fires, trying to find a charger or mechanics that know

A killer for the EV market is the lack of value of second hand EV's. Who will buy that ? So who will buy an expensive EV which after a few year is worth scrap ?
Not me 🙂
Drive in -20 anywhere remote. Do you feel safe in an EV?
I remember my first LCD (wow) game on a square thing. The places the character would be were already seen on the screen. So the character would walk in a shocking slow moving.

The "new" has worn off...
There will be lots of nice EVs in junkyards...
For a while.... But it just takes one car to catch fire, and the whole junkyard will follow into an inferno
We've had EV'S FOR OVER A HUNDRED YEARS. SAME PROBLEMS BATTERY'S CHARGING. IF YOU KNOW HISTORY YOU ALREADY NEW THIS .FOR SOME PEOPLE EV'S ARE PERFECT. BUT MOST PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT .
The government has no idea what they are talking about. They should keep to what they know and not second guess on things unknown to them.
The EV market is too new to jump on a permanent platform.
Straight battery only EV's are only good for local, In City driving.
The attempts to have charging stations has been having not so good results.
The TESLA charging stations have faired out the best but the no name charging stations are failing fast.
Imagine driving 200 miles and need a charge, you go to a no name charge station and it will only charge at 25%. This is happening more than not.
Then you have the problem of getting the charge station to work. Some can have controls at the charge station, other force you to use an APP on your phone, most of which either have problems connecting or dont work at all.
The Hy bred made to run electric in city and gas on the highway is the only way to go until the tech catches up. That may be in 10 years or so.
Chevrolet was ahead of the game with the VOLT and then they dropped it, just like they did the EV1.
They had the future in their hand, and they sqwashed it. all gone.
Now we have electric only EV's that are not fairing so well. Yes there are those that want to support the science but the fact is, it isn't working as smoothly as they would like.
The manufacturers built the EV's for profit, failing to do so, they are stepping back. business as usual.
The government couldn't out think three kindergarden kids playing with lego's!

Insurance? At what cost . Will my home owners policy allow an EV in my garage?
We’ve never had an EV INDUSTRY before so how can we compare?
By definition, growth will slow as a maarket becomes saturated. For example, smartphone sales were huge 15 years ago, but now a very large percentage of people already have them AND each successive year's models offer fewer and less impressive improvements over the prior year's models. Now the only reason most people get new phones is because they've broken their old one or it has gotten so old that it can't run new apps.
The only things that are potentially game changing about EVs compared to ICE vehicles are lower operating costs and higher performance. But it's turning out that EVs are actually more expensive to operate (especially if you frequently need to use public chargers) and their added performance is of no value to most people because ICE vehicles already offer more performance than most people ever need. Add on that public charging is very inconvenient and wastes a lot of time and it is clear that only a small portion of drivers will benefit from switching to an EV.
It is not up to governments to dictate what citizens spend their money on. Manufacturers need to respond to what the public demands.
Here is the most basic problem I roll into a Gas station with 1% fuel you roll into a charging station with 1% charge 5 minutes later I'm driving away with a full tank and a doughnut your sitting there. Me and 9 other people roll up to a gas station you and 9 other people roll up to charging station maybe 10 minutes later I'm leaving with my doughnut several hours later you're still charging
Charge at home and never have to go to station to refill.
People have twigged they've been synicly scammed it only happens once
No chance of having 30% BEV growth this year.
Maybe not in us but will definitely in the world as more chinese ev are sold worldwide.
Never a battery powered EV in my drive! Period.
Its cost efficiency, you can replace a gas motor for roughly2k..batteries in hybrids are 12k and in a EV its over half the cost of the vehicle to replace the batteries.
One stat to watch is how long EV owners stick with their EV after the warranty expires. Most EV's on the road have fairly low mileage on average. Yet owners still complain about repair and maintenance costs. And what will things look like when they have to start replacing batteries?
These cars are catching on fires and just parking lot what's going to happen when these things getting floods I heard just about the electric adapters about 10 grand at your house I mean who wants his junk it's junk

Where are the chargers??????? Not where I go, such as west Texas, east Washington state, Utah, etc. Hell, you can't even find gas stations in some of the towns. When I was in Alpine, TX, the nearest charger was 65 miles away. I believe in the KISS principle, keep, it simple, stupid, and I don't want ANY of the new vehicles, ICE or battery as they are impossible for the home mechanic to work on without thousands of dollars of diagnostic tools.
In - ventory? Why not go the 9 yards and hire an English first narrator. It's classier and you will have helped the economy.
I think one of the weirdest problems in the automotive industry as a whole is that they print a new car with a brand new interior and exterior design overall. Some of the older Honda or Toyota cars/trucks are still running today. Why are new variants always being remade and made new? Wouldn't it save massive amounts of money if all the same parts and models were available for years and years? sometimes I think the entire vehicular sales market needs to be remodeled. Sometimes I wish I could have that Acura Legend, the last one that came out many years back with all of its original features intact.
The car companies want to sell you a new car!!!!!
