  • What are Britain’s most expensive seaside towns for homebuyers?
If you enjoyed your stay at a seaside resort the last time you visited, you’d love to make the place your home. This is because life besides water is always attractive. The good news is that you can always get home by the seaside. In the last year, the housing market has experienced significantly dramatic changes, but even then, Brit’s love for the seaside hasn’t changed. There’s still much love for the coastal way of life and picturesque scenery. There are plenty of homes being put up for sale at the seaside. Here we’ve taken it upon ourselves to research the prices of homes in the UK. Here are the 10 Britain’s most expensive seaside towns for homebuyers.
    10. Fowey, Cornwall, England
Fowey, a port town and civil parish located at the mouth of the River Fowey in south Cornwall in England is our starting point. The local church which was first established sometime in the 7th century and the estuary of the River Fowey which forms a natural harbor combine to give this seaside town its status as an important trading center. This invariably affects the prices of homes in the resort.
The average house price as of the end of 2021 is £488,083. In fact, it is one of the seaside towns with the biggest annual house price increases in the United Kingdom. The house price was 22 percent cheaper in 2020 with a price of £400,873.
    9. East Wittering, West Sussex, England
Let’s check a coastal village in the South East. We’re referring to East Wittering, a town in the Chichester district of West Sussex. This village on the B2179 road 11 kilometers southwest of Chichester on the Manhood Peninsula is the ninth on our list.
The average house price in 2021 in East Wittering which is the latest data available to us is £494,025. Meanwhile, in the last 10 years, it has sustained an annual increase in house prices. That’s why East Wittering is found among the seaside towns with the biggest house price increases over the last decade in the UK. While the house price as of 2011 was £291,543, it has increased by some 69 percent in 2021.
    8. St Mawes, Cornwall, England
Another town in South West on this list of the 10 Britain’s most expensive seaside towns for homebuyers is St Mawes opposite Falmouth on the Roseland Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall. This immense natural harbor is often claimed to be the third-largest in the world. The accommodation cost had been on the high side here since it was a busy fishing port.
Since that trade declined during the 20th century, the town has become a popular tourist location. While the town has many properties functioning as holiday accommodations, to buy a home there now, you must have an average of £501,638. Also, between 2020 and 2021, the average price of homes experienced a 48 percent increase from £339,912.
    7. Dartmouth, Devon, England
Dartmouth in Devon England. Dartmouth, a tourist destination, home to one of the world's greatest academic institutions, and a civil parish can’t be missing on a list like these. We recognize this town also in the South West as one of the 10 best seaside resorts in the UK, one of the 10 most popular seaside destinations in the UK, the best of the 10 best seaside towns in the UK, and the very best seaside towns in England.
All that, however, doesn’t come without a price. Home prices in such a town aren’t expected to be cheap. The current home price in Dartmouth is £523,182. Dartmouth records a 30 percent increase in the house price in the last year.
    6. Wadebridge, Cornwall, England
Let’s go to Cornwall in the South West again to find sixth Britain’s most expensive seaside town for homebuyers, which is Wadebridge. This is a town and civil parish that town straddles the River Camel 8 kilometers upstream from Padstow, also on this list.
Originally known as Wade, this town used to be a dangerous fording point before the construction of the bridge in the 15th century and its latest widening and refurbishing in 1991. This and other factors increase the value of properties here to an average of £536,760.

They make the sea side town the same as where they came from, and expect the local people to change for them.

@@barry0013 you need to think of diversity targets. These are people who need your love ❤️ and they should be given this by the local women. They have had a hard time . The world belongs to everyone including Dartmouth. I have sent them some love in the form of money.
