Hello. Very interesting videos, mate. When would you be doing ones like this in the northwest? I live near Skipton. So I'm interested in how you rate the cities nearby, As I stay away from them. :)
Being Welsh 🏴 I'm just glad to find someone very much in a minority .....Am assuming you're English 🏴 & you so obviously understand the difference between England & the U.K , miracles do happen! Am loving your site, thanks for all the research, well done 🤗
Manchester's about average for prices and Liverpool's on the cheaper end. Surprising I know, considering how good at football they both are for one thing! But it's to do with the north-south divide where places get a lot cheaper once they're out of commuting range with London.
Hmmm I would have thought that the City of Westminister (In the county of Greater London) and the City of London [the 1sq mi] (a city & a ceremonial county) would take the №1 and №2 positions, not GL as a whole at №1... I always thought that Greater London is not a city but is just a county no?
You're absolutely right, they are technically two cities. I forgot to mention in the narration that I combined them as a single entry because it didn't feel right to give the top spot to what is essentially an anomaly, i.e. the Square Mile. Greater London's a county, yeah - it's everything in London minus the City of London, which is also a county! How it ended up as convoluted as that I've no idea!
Great rundown & history Alex. Thank you 😁👍
No probs, thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Thanks Dianne, much appreciated! :)

Thanks! I'm planning on covering the cities of the north in about a month's time or so.

Thank you very much! And yes, I am indeed English - no AI voices here, haha.
Interesting
I was surprised that Manchester and Liverpool weren't on the list of the most expensive 😮

In London you do get the benefits of high public spending.
