Mari, I've watched several people over the last few years on there thru hikes on all the trails. Yours are becoming my favorite. You do such a good job filming and editing and you use good music. I look forward to watching y'all complete your thru hike of the pct. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I found your channel inbetween all the PCT videos! Really glad I clicked on this one. Its refreshing to have someone who vlogged the entire day and I can really feel beeing out there and walking. I watched Elenas stuff too, espeacially the video "It's the people" -> she has unbelivable editing skills. So cool that you meet her.

I would love to see a video where you lay out everything you eat in a week on trail that’s vegetarian. I hope to hike the trail or at least an extended section hike.
Especially with coming to the Sierra and you must carry all food in a bear canister. Might have some 7 to 9 days stretches all in the cannister???

I love getting my daily dose of adventure from your pictures and videos from the trail, it looks amazing and I envy you a lot. On the other hand, I appreciate that you two do all the hard work and we get to see those stunning views all for free😂 oh, and those heaps of snacks nick was sorting through are such a mood

Amazing views and excellent progress. Please do a short gear video to follow up on the one you did at the start. Now, I wonder how it's performing--particularly footwear, socks, and basic apparel. You're giving it all a thorough test drive. Please tell us how it's performing, like comfort, wash/dry time, durability, problems. Any other tips on changes you'd make? How often do you do a rest day? Idyllwild reminds me of El Chalten, Argentina. Thanks! PS - Mayor Max for President in 2020!
Followed you since your curiosity about NZ and how you fell in love with the people and the scenery.....still waiting for your accent to change to the apparently voted 2019 sexiest in the world....maybe another couple of years....don't take to long,it could only be a asset....keep the left in front of the right and behind the nose!
Hey Mari and Nick, enjoying following your PCT trip - good luck and enjoy the journey. I was watching a couple of your earlier videos and enjoyed learning about Nick and how you got to NZ. I have been to NZ a couple of times - beautiful country with great variety due to its north south orientation. Probably the most unusual trip was skiing down the glacier next to Mt. Cook. BTW, Nick I was born in Montana and although I don't live there now I enjoy visiting that great state. Love your spirit and passion for travel Mari. Stay safe.

Don't recall if I already told you but there is also a KIWI in front of you near Kennedy Meadows "Restless Kiwi". Your lizard friend looks like a Granite Spiny Lizard. Bean burrito, good source of protein. SAFE HIKING

I recommend the Vecto water bottle from CNOC for your Sawyer water filter, it comes in 2 and 3L, it's much easier to fill at your water source since it opens from the bottom and fits the Sawyer water filters.

Whimsical woman did the PCT last year and edited it with iMovie.
But I've also read/heard about using an iPad.
Mari, wanted to tell you how much I enjoy that you keep filming in town to a bare minimum. These PCT videos are like meditations for me and watching the trail and hike is what does it for me. Thanks🌿
Some of us enjoy the town sequences. Mari, please do not skimp on town stories and especially the tales of the fellow hikers you meet there.
