Problem is, FH is literally the only ubi game I play anymore. Never was into Far Cry and AC4 was too easy imo. FH gave me a thrill and medieval fun no other game was able to give me. *And now they're gonna kill it...*
I mean they ruined division 2 as well soo at this point ubi can suck a chode. They got blind luck with siege and now poor literally everything into siege and AC
8+ months ago when they first announced the direction they wanted to take combat mechanics I left the game. I knew it was gonna get fucked up. For awhile there I thought I might be wrong I am disappointed to see that I was right.
This is genuinely an achievement on ubi's part. How did they manage to set such reasonable expectations and yet deliver something so monumentally disappointing and nonsensical?
Ya, this is pretty bad If you look at the big picture, what's that going to do to the game's longevity?? It's bad enough that ppl stopped playing because they couldn't get to the competitive level as the rest Which is a punishment on it's own before the matchmaking update, but now it's like it's back for them Who's going to want to pick up a game that gives them more death screens than opportunities to learn how to play while in combat I still think this is the best combat game out there. But for it's own good, I can't recommend it to anyone the way it is rn

I honestly never saw someone running that thing, but yes Ubi, nerf a feat that is rarely use. While the busted ones (including Warmonger) stay the same
I used protected revive a lot when I could use it. I would help swing battles when I would hop out the teamfight to revive and someone would start swinging at me, only to get demolished by a teammate as they tunnel visioned on me, so it would turn a 3 vs 3 or something into a 4 vs 2.
I used it in place of some feats because despite it seeming subpar to others, it had is uses and could turn the tide of a battle. But hearing that you don't have protection on protect revive seems abysmally idotic. That's like having a bucket to gather things with have a hole in it.
They nerfed some heroes feats but the busted ones (like spear rain (or whatever HL T4 feat is called)) is still busted, so basically, in feat terms, most probably everything will stay the same

I REALLY REALLY hope at least some of this has been changed before it goes live. gaurenteed light followups (like on shaolin and nobushi) should not be costing 12 stamina when they do like 4 damage 12 is wayyyy too high anyway, guess any of us without bashes or heavy based mix-ups can just get fucked. PK's dagger cancel being at frame disadvantage is retarded, this is why these things can't just be done by "is it a light? or a heavy?" the damage changes here are incredibly dissapointing, there should be criteria like was mentioned INCLUDING properties for the attacks. did they even look at feedback from the testing grounds????????????

I like nobushi and kinda main her even though she's low teir and gets ZERO love and attention. Now I don't even want to play at all. Tired of seeing the same few viable characters.
In my opinion, dagger cancel should be disadvantage if blocked and opponent not bleeding. (So no superior lights.) But it should also be advantage or at least neutral in every other case.

In my entire time playing unless I went against a 4 stack or had really really stupid teammates games went well, now with these changes (coming from console perspective where the fucking game stutters almost anytime you start getting ganked) shits being partially hidden (why?), damage is being nerfed, revenge was changed yet again (JUST FUCKING TAKE IT OUT AT THIS POINT JESUS FUCKING CHRIST) stamina was changed but made even worse, they added mini strokes for ending chains with lights which just ends up throwing fuck yous to characters like valk/nobu. This wasn't a change to make the game more approachable for casual/new players, it's a fucking butchering. They basically are sending Bessie (for honor) out to pasture by alienating everyone except the people who wont quit till the servers die

honestly, i can only think of 2 reasons why. #1 they are forced to keep working on the game rather then work on others or be allowed to broaden their horizons and are telling the suits to go fuck themselves. #2 the suits want to kill it and forced them to smile as if they had the ideas all by themselves.

It was already in a pretty bad spot. And now, while the deflect issue is by no means the worst thing about this update, deflecting is an entirely too risky decision for very little reward, unless you're specifically playing gladiator for the skewer. Zhanhu's deflect punish was already trash, and complicated to input, especially compared to others like shinobi, who could just accidentally get one and guarantee punish.
It is probably just 29 damage, including the bleed. She might have advantage and be able to get a light in on everyone now, but I'm unsure. I'd still say no, not worth it. Gladiator gets mixup out of the skewer stick, which is the only reason it's probably still viable, but will also depend on the skewer damage potential. Now look at orochi, who also has deflect mix-up with the cancel heavy. Still only 29 damage, plus a light will break it if feinted. Now he also has an unlockable heavy too finisher with zero mixup potential due to being able to back dodge it, roll out, and possibly back step it, because orichis grab ranch is a fuckin joke. I think orochi matches are boring and repetitive, but what they did to him is wrong, and it's compounded by the CCU damage values.
To be honest the phrase “one step forward, two steps back” comes to mind when seeing the new damage numbers. Edit: Saying that they only took two steps back is kind of an understatement, this level of utter incompetence makes me wanna take my disc and chuck it out the window
This really looks like as if this was made by an AI and noone bothered to test it after it was done. The testing grounds were great, most people liked what we were able to play and now we get this ? I dont know what else to say. This looks as if this patch is going to be the worst for the general health of the game. Fuck Cents release state or any other Season that was completely busted, this right here is some next level shit. I always defended the devs for staying with the game and trying to improve it but man I dont know what their aim was this time. I was so hyped to play this evening but now my day is ruined ... Edit : At this point I really think we do need a balance council of competent content creators that Ubi can consult when it comes to balance changes. I have never felt so disheartened by a devteam pandering to people that refuse to learn and become better at the game. So they basically just made PK even lower in the tier list than she already is. So she’s now in with The for honor Dumpster with orochi.. they nerf all the feats that didn’t even need nerfing but then will probably leave warmongers feats alone. This game feels like year 1 all over again, with the devs purely not listening. They may as well bring back centurions stun lock like season two again

Lets be honest here, i refuse to believe these people are that stupid and still have a job, they just wanna get rid of For Honor... might aswell ahut the servers down... Same over here. As a main Nüxia, her dmg values are just stupid, she was hard to play, but now literally she became useless. Her light running attack used to be 20, now 10 wtf?! Any single light is 15 or above... Her zone trap which was a really good move, but not very easy to land, used to be 45 dmg, now is just 32, her deflect was 40 dmg but blockable, still blockable but 20 dmg 🤡 ubisoft 🤡

The best way for ubi to earn money is via in game purchases. New players are much less likely to buy stuff than older players that want to invest in the game.

I still don't understand tho, how can you defend agaisnt Orochi spam? Besides sitting there waiting for your chance to parry his light? Anything I might try to do gets interrupted by a light attack, it's so fast. I play JJ when duelling mostly, and using Shifu stance to dodge an attack? Nope, the attack is faster. Attack after dodge? Nope, he attacks AGAIN before I can. Using my superior range to attack before he can? Nope, he is still faster...? What? Can't feint because he just attacks with a light. Really feels that the only way I can play against an Orochi is to do nothing and hope I can predict where the attack is coming from and parry it. Dunno how that's fair, you tell me. But either way I don't think this solution was right. The Orochi was supposed to be really fast and be able to hit you multiple times. I just don't think light attacks from weak weapons should interrupt actions this easily. I mean...realistically speaking, basically no attacks you could ever hope to do with a Katana would do any damage for like 50% of the characters depicted in the game. But that would be unreasonable to ask for, so if the 'rochi is really fast, which it should be, then not all of his shit should interrupt, generating risk for the rochi with spam and opportunity for the opponent to counter.

Sweep didn't get nerfed. It was one of the move that got improvement. Dmg is fairly good since can't Gb punish. Her light dmg is awful. But her kit got improved by alot. You will enjoy her.

Yeah I’m an Orochi main and this just felt like a hot iron stuck to my asshole....when your deflects which were the best and only offense you had gets nerfed, makes you wanna just give up and play a bash hero.
Acid literally no....it’s a turn based game. That being said, if you understand how the game works and know your move sets, Orochi had no chance on light spamming. Sidestepping, or an actual light parry, or literally blocking in the direction gives you advantage.
I'm not disapointed : I wasn't expecting anything else than lazyness from theses changes. I mean, since marching fire, none of the reworks got a single new animation, new executions are the same for every characters, same for ornaments, same for emotes, new heros got recycled animation and so on. I truly think their is almost no one working on the game curently. Which I can completly understand as the game gets old now, it is probably less profitable than it once was, but it sucks that they continue to tease big changes that just won't happen. They didn't even test if their damage value made sens or not. They just applied their % and "see you guys in 3 month".
Okay so prior to this video I was excited to get back to the game to play Warmommy and a few other fun heroes... but honestly after *these* changes... this horrendous sh*tshow of changes that make 90% of the game worse... after the dev team spent basically half a year observing their own saliva drip out of their mouthes (except the weapon and armor arts team, those guys never really disappoint) ... yeah no I think I am fine without For Honor for -a while- probably ever. If they don't act fast now and fix these issues in less than a month or so I honestly think this will be the final nail in the coffin for a game that had the potential to keep a large player base interested for many years to come, with eventually even E-Sports being a thing to rake in more money and players.

@@nylafae3642 True, but PK has nothing else really, and her bleeds only come from GB or heavy cancels (and her deflect), and the heavy cancel is very predictable. Since it's one of the only good tools she has

I am getting massive TF2 flashbacks. There too the community would beg for a rework of some weapons, and years later they would get a bizarre update that addressed none of the issues. I'm afraid the For Honor team has probably started cycling devs, so the newcomers are picking up a game they do not understand well enough to tweak. As a highlander main, when I saw the sped up highlander chains, I was upset, much to my surprise. The answer to balancing a character isn't to rob the things that make them special. The sped up light opener I understand, as he would be at a severe disadvantage with the way "light attack" turns work, but the chain light? Why is it so fast? It has hyper armor, it's point was to be a bit of a mixup between highlander going into offensive stance or continuing a hyper armor chain. It was never meant to beat the opponents attack. Why would it have hyperarmor then? I don't get it. As for the Orochi changes, I must reluctantly agree that I am one of those people who thought Orochi is pretty strong. At the end of the day, the fundamental problem with Orochi is that he lives and dies by the strength of light attacks as his kit is centered around them. Low skill players (such as myself) have a hard time dealing with these (I can rarely block or parry even on prediction) while high skill players have no issue reacting to them. I see no feasible way of them tweaking him so that both parties would be happy. I think he needs a rework where the attention is taken away from his lights an he is given more tools. Sure they attempted that in this update, but very poorly IMO. It might be easy o say that his lights should simply be made unreactable so that he is viable in higher skill levels, but I still hold my stance that I don't think that'd be healthy for the game as it would start slipping into the "hardcore fighting game" zone where it cannot compete with the more popular titles and it wouldn't work with it's current niche. Maybe a character who revolves around light attacks was never meant to be strong at higher levels where people can deal with them easily? i still think he needs a rework.
Lets make a petition for freeze to be in control of every change that happens in for honor since ubisoft is showing us just why the game is where it is
I wish they would just ask you for numbers and things to fix. Seriously, it would be fixed so easily with a simple recommended damage chart from you at the absolute least. Something as simple as that alone would make it infinitely better than what we got. Please keep exposing the issues until we get what we need.

@@AxeBearingVoyager shinobi was nerfed even before. The one i am mad about is that they took super/hyper armor from his double dodge kick. It was fun to dodge and then punish it, but after the nerf (something around the jorm's release i guess) i vould just light him with chain to stop his kick
Feels like week one all over again tbh. We told them to adjust damage numbers and feats. And now here we are months later having to give the same feedback. On top of telling them their quick fix BS didn't do anyone any favors. Their comment on not doing a second round of TG testing because they felt confident in their changes sure as fuck didn't age well.
To be fair, Hito was and is still strong. And Jorm is a failed concept, since he's a stamina bully in a game where stamina is everything. They destroyed orochi though, that's true. Even I feel sorry for Orochi mains and I hate everything about the character.

I just tried out Lawbringer a bit.. His light parry unblockable is worse than delaying the attack and throwing a normal top heavy which still seems garuanteed...
As a pk main, I'm shaking n crying right now. She's already shit with reflex guard, low health and absurdly low stamina and now her only viable tools are getting nerfed.

So I was just reading a reddit post by u/AshiSunblade which was talking about how stamina costs are based on a multiplier system, and that parries multiply the stamina cost of the attack by 7. So does that mean that since lights cost 12 stamina that light parries drain 84 stamina? Or did that get changed? He says that most heroes have a stamina pool of 120. That means one light attack now does 10% of your stamina. How is that good idea? Berserker already runs out of stamina after one combo imagine how much worse that’ll be after the update. They basically reworked an entire game because people couldn’t deal with Orochi lights. Ubi, stop pandering to the people who don’t know how to play your game
Ordaiken Ogvorious I’ve been living off of that small amount of hope for the game to get better since season 1. And they’ve always seem to go forward while simultaneously going backward. That small amount of hope has definitely dwindled away.

I said it once and I'll say it again, they didn't have to tweak the damage, just give everyone in the roster an extra 40 or 50 HP and there won't be an issue. It's easier, faster and makes waaayy more sense than these random damage numbers. Think Smarter, not Harder Ubi.
I really can't bring myself to play this game anymore, and I might sound a bit elitist with this, but ever since they announced lower damage values, I thought that was a bad idea, I really feel like this game has gone down hill since like, they removed the majority of ledges from maps, which I really disagreed with, because it just caters to people who want a mindless experience I feel, people who don't want to look at their positioning and give the game any deeper thought outside of what the game had to offer with the combat system
I agree. I'm not an elitist. I'm just fairly decent at the game. And I always liked and respected it for how quick a fight can end if I fuck up and the other plays perfect. And if you drop me off a ledge I have no problem with it. I fucked up.

For 4 years whenever an update has come out people have said that this update kills the game, blah blah blah. This is the only update that might ACTUALLY kill this game. Ubisoft COMPLETELY disregarded what the community ACTUALLY wanted, and they fucked up in every way they could've possibly fucked up.

Problem is, FH is literally the only ubi game I play anymore. Never was into Far Cry and AC4 was too easy imo. FH gave me a thrill and medieval fun no other game was able to give me. *And now they're gonna kill it...*
I mean they ruined division 2 as well soo at this point ubi can suck a chode. They got blind luck with siege and now poor literally everything into siege and AC

This is genuinely an achievement on ubi's part. How did they manage to set such reasonable expectations and yet deliver something so monumentally disappointing and nonsensical?

Also Ubi: Centurion now has 40 damage unblockables
Well, they standardized it, centurion has slow unblockables. Still doesn't make it ok though.

I honestly never saw someone running that thing, but yes Ubi, nerf a feat that is rarely use. While the busted ones (including Warmonger) stay the same
I used protected revive a lot when I could use it.
I would help swing battles when I would hop out the teamfight to revive and someone would start swinging at me, only to get demolished by a teammate as they tunnel visioned on me, so it would turn a 3 vs 3 or something into a 4 vs 2.
I used it in place of some feats because despite it seeming subpar to others, it had is uses and could turn the tide of a battle. But hearing that you don't have protection on protect revive seems abysmally idotic.
That's like having a bucket to gather things with have a hole in it.

They nerfed some heroes feats but the busted ones (like spear rain (or whatever HL T4 feat is called)) is still busted, so basically, in feat terms, most probably everything will stay the same

gaurenteed light followups (like on shaolin and nobushi) should not be costing 12 stamina when they do like 4 damage

In my opinion, dagger cancel should be disadvantage if blocked and opponent not bleeding. (So no superior lights.) But it should also be advantage or at least neutral in every other case.

The game failed in comp because of the state that it was in when they tried their first tournament, and right now it's not much better, the potential is there but ubisoft keeps fucking up

In my entire time playing unless I went against a 4 stack or had really really stupid teammates games went well, now with these changes (coming from console perspective where the fucking game stutters almost anytime you start getting ganked) shits being partially hidden (why?), damage is being nerfed, revenge was changed yet again (JUST FUCKING TAKE IT OUT AT THIS POINT JESUS FUCKING CHRIST) stamina was changed but made even worse, they added mini strokes for ending chains with lights which just ends up throwing fuck yous to characters like valk/nobu. This wasn't a change to make the game more approachable for casual/new players, it's a fucking butchering. They basically are sending Bessie (for honor) out to pasture by alienating everyone except the people who wont quit till the servers die

honestly, i can only think of 2 reasons why.
#1 they are forced to keep working on the game rather then work on others or be allowed to broaden their horizons and are telling the suits to go fuck themselves.
#2 the suits want to kill it and forced them to smile as if they had the ideas all by themselves.

Totally useless. Lets just make the most skilled and rewarding move in the game fucking garbage.
It was already in a pretty bad spot. And now, while the deflect issue is by no means the worst thing about this update, deflecting is an entirely too risky decision for very little reward, unless you're specifically playing gladiator for the skewer.
Zhanhu's deflect punish was already trash, and complicated to input, especially compared to others like shinobi, who could just accidentally get one and guarantee punish.
Only assassin play is gladiator and he seems to be unchanged
Is Valkyries suedo deflect bad as well?
It is probably just 29 damage, including the bleed. She might have advantage and be able to get a light in on everyone now, but I'm unsure.
I'd still say no, not worth it. Gladiator gets mixup out of the skewer stick, which is the only reason it's probably still viable, but will also depend on the skewer damage potential.
Now look at orochi, who also has deflect mix-up with the cancel heavy. Still only 29 damage, plus a light will break it if feinted. Now he also has an unlockable heavy too finisher with zero mixup potential due to being able to back dodge it, roll out, and possibly back step it, because orichis grab ranch is a fuckin joke.
I think orochi matches are boring and repetitive, but what they did to him is wrong, and it's compounded by the CCU damage values.
To be honest the phrase “one step forward, two steps back” comes to mind when seeing the new damage numbers.
Edit: Saying that they only took two steps back is kind of an understatement, this level of utter incompetence makes me wanna take my disc and chuck it out the window

I always defended the devs for staying with the game and trying to improve it but man I dont know what their aim was this time.

Same over here. As a main Nüxia, her dmg values are just stupid, she was hard to play, but now literally she became useless. Her light running attack used to be 20, now 10 wtf?! Any single light is 15 or above... Her zone trap which was a really good move, but not very easy to land, used to be 45 dmg, now is just 32, her deflect was 40 dmg but blockable, still blockable but 20 dmg 🤡 ubisoft 🤡

@@bernardobastos5996 so to get the casuals to play they have to go against what everyone else wants? therefore gaining no players and instead getting rid of the ones that enjoyed the game and wanted it to get better. The best way for ubi to earn money is via in game purchases. New players are much less likely to buy stuff than older players that want to invest in the game.

I still don't understand tho, how can you defend agaisnt Orochi spam? Besides sitting there waiting for your chance to parry his light? Anything I might try to do gets interrupted by a light attack, it's so fast. I play JJ when duelling mostly, and using Shifu stance to dodge an attack? Nope, the attack is faster. Attack after dodge? Nope, he attacks AGAIN before I can. Using my superior range to attack before he can? Nope, he is still faster...? What? Can't feint because he just attacks with a light. Really feels that the only way I can play against an Orochi is to do nothing and hope I can predict where the attack is coming from and parry it. Dunno how that's fair, you tell me.
But either way I don't think this solution was right. The Orochi was supposed to be really fast and be able to hit you multiple times.
I just don't think light attacks from weak weapons should interrupt actions this easily.
I mean...realistically speaking, basically no attacks you could ever hope to do with a Katana would do any damage for like 50% of the characters depicted in the game. But that would be unreasonable to ask for, so if the 'rochi is really fast, which it should be, then not all of his shit should interrupt, generating risk for the rochi with spam and opportunity for the opponent to counter.

Sweep didn't get nerfed. It was one of the move that got improvement. Dmg is fairly good since can't Gb punish. Her light dmg is awful. But her kit got improved by alot. You will enjoy her.

Acid literally no....it’s a turn based game. That being said, if you understand how the game works and know your move sets, Orochi had no chance on light spamming. Sidestepping, or an actual light parry, or literally blocking in the direction gives you advantage.
I'm not disapointed : I wasn't expecting anything else than lazyness from theses changes.
I mean, since marching fire, none of the reworks got a single new animation, new executions are the same for every characters, same for ornaments, same for emotes, new heros got recycled animation and so on.
I truly think their is almost no one working on the game curently. Which I can completly understand as the game gets old now, it is probably less profitable than it once was, but it sucks that they continue to tease big changes that just won't happen. They didn't even test if their damage value made sens or not. They just applied their % and "see you guys in 3 month".
Okay so prior to this video I was excited to get back to the game to play Warmommy and a few other fun heroes... but honestly after *these* changes... this horrendous sh*tshow of changes that make 90% of the game worse... after the dev team spent basically half a year observing their own saliva drip out of their mouthes (except the weapon and armor arts team, those guys never really disappoint)
... yeah no I think I am fine without For Honor for -a while- probably ever. If they don't act fast now and fix these issues in less than a month or so I honestly think this will be the final nail in the coffin for a game that had the potential to keep a large player base interested for many years to come, with eventually even E-Sports being a thing to rake in more money and players.

@@nylafae3642 True, but PK has nothing else really, and her bleeds only come from GB or heavy cancels (and her deflect), and the heavy cancel is very predictable. Since it's one of the only good tools she has

I am getting massive TF2 flashbacks. There too the community would beg for a rework of some weapons, and years later they would get a bizarre update that addressed none of the issues. I'm afraid the For Honor team has probably started cycling devs, so the newcomers are picking up a game they do not understand well enough to tweak. As a highlander main, when I saw the sped up highlander chains, I was upset, much to my surprise. The answer to balancing a character isn't to rob the things that make them special. The sped up light opener I understand, as he would be at a severe disadvantage with the way "light attack" turns work, but the chain light? Why is it so fast? It has hyper armor, it's point was to be a bit of a mixup between highlander going into offensive stance or continuing a hyper armor chain. It was never meant to beat the opponents attack. Why would it have hyperarmor then? I don't get it.
As for the Orochi changes, I must reluctantly agree that I am one of those people who thought Orochi is pretty strong. At the end of the day, the fundamental problem with Orochi is that he lives and dies by the strength of light attacks as his kit is centered around them. Low skill players (such as myself) have a hard time dealing with these (I can rarely block or parry even on prediction) while high skill players have no issue reacting to them. I see no feasible way of them tweaking him so that both parties would be happy. I think he needs a rework where the attention is taken away from his lights an he is given more tools. Sure they attempted that in this update, but very poorly IMO. It might be easy o say that his lights should simply be made unreactable so that he is viable in higher skill levels, but I still hold my stance that I don't think that'd be healthy for the game as it would start slipping into the "hardcore fighting game" zone where it cannot compete with the more popular titles and it wouldn't work with it's current niche. Maybe a character who revolves around light attacks was never meant to be strong at higher levels where people can deal with them easily? i still think he needs a rework.
Lets make a petition for freeze to be in control of every change that happens in for honor since ubisoft is showing us just why the game is where it is
I wish they would just ask you for numbers and things to fix. Seriously, it would be fixed so easily with a simple recommended damage chart from you at the absolute least. Something as simple as that alone would make it infinitely better than what we got. Please keep exposing the issues until we get what we need.

Feels like week one all over again tbh. We told them to adjust damage numbers and feats. And now here we are months later having to give the same feedback. On top of telling them their quick fix BS didn't do anyone any favors. To be fair, Hito was and is still strong. And Jorm is a failed concept, since he's a stamina bully in a game where stamina is everything.

I just tried out Lawbringer a bit.. His light parry unblockable is worse than delaying the attack and throwing a normal top heavy which still seems garuanteed...
It's 27dmg with 40 stam dmg on the ad mortem, and 32 dmg with 30 stam dmg on a normal top heavy. For the same stamina cost no less.
As a pk main, I'm shaking n crying right now. She's already shit with reflex guard, low health and absurdly low stamina and now her only viable tools are getting nerfed.

So I was just reading a reddit post by u/AshiSunblade which was talking about how stamina costs are based on a multiplier system, and that parries multiply the stamina cost of the attack by 7. So does that mean that since lights cost 12 stamina that light parries drain 84 stamina? Or did that get changed?
He says that most heroes have a stamina pool of 120. That means one light attack now does 10% of your stamina. How is that good idea? Berserker already runs out of stamina after one combo imagine how much worse that’ll be after the update.
They basically reworked an entire game because people couldn’t deal with Orochi lights. Ubi, stop pandering to the people who don’t know how to play your game
If I understood correctly there won't be additional stamina penalty for parries and feints, so you won't lose all your stamina after a single parry.

Props freeze. I've been watching your channel for as long as For honor's been around. I stopped playing shortly after BP was released, I just can't do this game anymore. Love your content man, keep on keeping on.
I said it once and I'll say it again, they didn't have to tweak the damage, just give everyone in the roster an extra 40 or 50 HP and there won't be an issue. It's easier, faster and makes waaayy more sense than these random damage numbers.

I really can't bring myself to play this game anymore, and I might sound a bit elitist with this, but ever since they announced lower damage values, I thought that was a bad idea, I really feel like this game has gone down hill since like, they removed the majority of ledges from maps, which I really disagreed with, because it just caters to people who want a mindless experience I feel, people who don't want to look at their positioning and give the game any deeper thought outside of what the game had to offer with the combat system
I agree. I'm not an elitist. I'm just fairly decent at the game. And I always liked and respected it for how quick a fight can end if I fuck up and the other plays perfect. And if you drop me off a ledge I have no problem with it. I fucked up.

For 4 years whenever an update has come out people have said that this update kills the game, blah blah blah. This is the only update that might ACTUALLY kill this game. Ubisoft COMPLETELY disregarded what the community ACTUALLY wanted, and they fucked up in every way they could've possibly fucked up.
