I can’t believe I just found this channel. Been listening everyday when getting ready for work. Gives me peace, lets me disconnect of the stress of my upcoming day for 30 min.

First point. God has ALREADY given everyone the gift of eternal life. Second point. God will NEVER force Himself upon you. Third point. He made a way that any who want to love Him back can be with him forever. So those in hell are there simply because they chose to say “thank you for eternal life but I want to love myself instead”
I don't understand what Cliffe means when he says "No one is going to hell because of ignorance." Doesn't that mean that missionaries are useless? As long as we don't tell people about Jesus, then they will be ignorant of Him, and automatically end up in heaven?
What he's trying to say is that you do not end up in hell because you did not know you are going there. If you have an exam tomorrow and you are playing video games instead, you already know the result. You will NOT pass that exam if you are not getting prepared for it. So, in other words, you do not fail the examen because of ignorance, you know it very well if you are not getting prepared for an exam, you won`t pass it. In the same way, people are going to hell because they chose that road that leads to that horrible place. Life is an exam. Get prepared for it or otherwise you won`t pass it. Do what you want but in the end, you will fail. No one is ignorant of Jesus. Jesus is so popular that even Eskimos know Him. Jesus is so popular that even evolutionists and those who hate Him, are using BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini Latin for "In the year of the Lord"). So, no ignorance about Him. Everyone knows Him. They don`t know Him deeply, but they heard about Him very well. If you are serious about your soul, you will seek Him to know Him as your Lord, God, and Savior.

I'll like to clarify the punishment for sin isn't eternal separation, but eternal punishment. Jude 1:7, Sodom and Gomorrah were punished with ETERNAL FIRE.

Praise be.. a new Ask Cliffe video. Cliffe says an atheist can change his mind and believe something totally different the next day, I don't know of any atheist who changes their views on a whim. Thats not how it works, generally, we have beliefs in certain things, and when we hear more compelling evidence which overturns what we previously believed, we carefully rationalize the new information and think about it then come to a new conclusion.. these things aren't whimsical, it's not as Cliffe sometimes says "..yesterday I liked spinach, today I like broccoli". That's not how it works. A lot of thought goes into it.
@@freightshayker Hi David, yes, I do change my mind on a whim for things like taste and preference in daily life, sure, we all do.. i had a coffee just now instead of my normal tea. But I don't think thats what Cliffe is talking about. I think he's talking about major changes in our thinking as to moral and ethical decisions. eg, it would take something really really convincing to make me change my mind about the existence of God. The clear evidence you see as a Christian, I don't see.
@@freightshayker Yes, I'm happy to answer that, there are a whole raft of things that *would* convince me. I don't believe miracles ( things which defy the laws of nature)..occur, eg, turning water into wine, walking on water, someone coming back to life after being dead for 3 days, someone floating up into the air ( as in the ascension of Christ) . What is stopping God from totally healing a man who doctors say is 100% blind, eg: someone like Stevie Wonder.. that would do it for me, but there are lots of other things which I'd find convincing.

Who on earth could you be referring to Jacob? Plant seeds of wrong thinking? Who are you to tell them they are wrong?, every single person is a unique person with a unique thinking mind, no 2 people are exactly the same, even Christians have a multitude of differing thoughts about God, the afterlife, the Bible, you name it. Thankfully we live in a society where we can express those thoughts and have conversations. None of us have the exclusive rights to what is actually true, I'm sure we all of us think we're right, you actually said "I guarantee you I am not wrong" ! .. so that means you have a closed mind then doesn't it?, nothing anyone else says to you in conversation will sway you? I don't have that same confidence Jacob, I'm always open to the possibility I could be wrong.. as Cliffe says himself in these video's, "it's good to doubt", I agree with him wholeheartedly. With regards to saying a prayer to ask God to reveal himself in some way, I cannot even begin to tell you the number of times I've done that. That's one of the reasons I am now the person I am now, a non believer. It would be good to know exactly how God reveals himself to you Jacob? Is it a voice in your head?, could that voice be a part of your own conscience talking to you in the same way my subconscious mind talks to me? I'm sure there are millions of Muslims and Hindu's around the world who truly believe their God is speaking to them. It's a fascinating subject Jacob isn't it.

The truth should fear no investigation but other than measuring them based on our understanding of reality, we have no way to be able to investigate the miracles claims of the Bible anyway. Unless there is a Jesus who is willing to come out of hiding and confirm all of it, we've got nothing. For example, the Bible tells us that Jesus turned water into wine, how do we investigate that? The Bible also says Jesus walked on water, how to we check to see if he did? It also says he fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fishes, how are we meant to examine that? None of the miracle claims in the Bible is of a testable nature, which is already suspicious in and of itself, because one would have thought that if there really is a God that wants us to believe all these miracles stories happened, that they would make it easy for us all to put them to the test to find out, not just tell us things that are impossible for us to investigate and yet not one single Christian seems to be able to repeat any of those miracles the Jesus they believe in did back two thousand years ago, to at least give us something tangible to investigate in the here and now. We are being asked in the Bible just to believe they happened back then but why should we just believe they happened back then without question when there are so many other claims in other books as well that were made about other allegedly divine individuals such as Muhammad flying up to Heaven on a horse? While we are at it, praying to the God you believe is the right one to see if he will show us, would you also like us to pray to Allah to see if he is real and to reveal to us the truth about the Quran to see if he will? How many more alleged Gods have we got to pray to in order to find out if they are real or not? How many different faith doctrines have we got to try to see if they work for us or not?? This is the whole problem when you say to us things like "why are you not willing to give it a try?" and "why not ask God to reveal himself?", not to mention you're presuming we haven't already, in fact, we HAVE, both myself, Tom and probably other atheists here are former Christians. Yes, you're correct, it doesn't exactly say he is. This is yet another thing that Christians are divided over and have been probably since the earliest Christian churches and even Jesus himself, according to the Bible seems to make conflicting claims about his status, eg, in John 10:30 he says "I and the Father are one" and yet he then implies at another point when talking about when the judgement day will be that they are two different minds when he said in Matthew 24:36 ""But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father". Which would make no sense if he and the Father are supposed to be literally one and the same. It's all up for interpretation and this is the whole problem I have with the Bible. Not for nothing is it called 'The Book Of Multiple Choice', you can just about get anything you want from the Bible and Christians certainly do, on the last official count, there were around 40,000 different Christian denominations/organisations, including sub-categories of various denominations and straight out Christian organisations and movements etc, all claiming to have the "right understanding of Gods word" and all claiming that the others are "in error" or "falling short of what God requires and need to repent". Yet, so far, there doesn't seem to be any God coming out of hiding and clearing it up. I mean, how hard would it be for an all-powerful being to simply show up and say "h folks of the world, I am God, your creator, THIS church here is the right church and this is the CORRECT understanding of my word, please follow this ONLY and disregard all the others because they will get you to Hell, thank you". Alas, seems like this God of the Bible would rather make finding the correct path to salvation harder, despite the Bible claim of "it's not his wish that any should perish", his lack of an update to clarify things suggests otherwise, because by not coming and clearing it up, more will perish if this is all true because what we have is a confusing message with endless claims and counterclaims coming from different Christians regarding which Christians are "the true chosen ones" and which are "the deceivers" etc "hey, we in this Pentecostal Church here have the true Holy Spirit" and "no you don't, we Southern Baptists have the true Holy Spirit, you Pentecostalists are being deceived by false spirits" and "no, the Catholic Church is the only true church, you lot are sending people to Hell".....blah blah blah and this just goes on and on and on.

You don’t believe, not because there is not enough proof of God's existence - God has said that He is so clearly known, He has shown Himself to all of us that we are without excuse for denying Him - so God’s claim is that you DO know Him but because you, JUST LIKE ME, before coming to Christ, love your lifestyle and your personal sin and deep down, you suppress the knowledge of God and you stand firm in the fact that no one is going to set rules for you and tell you how to live your life....especially some "God" that you profess that you cant see or dont believe in. The reason everything pertaining to God is confusing to you is because you have not let go of your sin, you still live for your desires and they are not the desires of Christ. You are either a slave to sin and this world or you are a slave to Christ. The only free will you have is to ultimately freely choose based on your nature and your nature is that of a sinful fallen human being, as is mine, who if you can be honest with yourself, is prideful, arrogant and selfish and our desire to be autonomous. Do you do “good” at times? Yes, Im sure you do…or so it may seem externally, but again, being honest with yourself, why? If I was a betting man, there are selfish motives behind your “good” works most of the time, as there have been with mine, therefore, making them no good at all in the eyes of God and no good in the eyes of others when and if they ever were to find out our motives. That is why we need a Savior. We are broken and perverted before a Holy God. The hard part that you have to accept, is that God DOES exist, and He IS the God of all creation, whether you believe in Him or not, whether you curse Him, hate Him, deny Him, dont agree with Him, raise your fist at Him.....He is God and you will stand before Him in judgement one day for the sins you have committed against Him and Him alone. You can say you are an aetheist or agnostic, but you wont live that world view out. You will go through life living as a Christian. You will go through life living as if your life has value, as if your loved ones and friends have value and are worthy of dignity and respect and we ARE all worthy of those things because we are created in the image of God, not because we came from bacteria. If you are going to take the atheistic or agnostic stance, then let your life be consistence with that stance. Stop worrying about morality and how people treat you or how people may offend you, your loved ones or your friends, don’t worry or get upset if people try to rob from you or steal from you, because if we aren’t created in the image of God, there is no moral law or moral law giver, and we are just the descendants of bacteria or fish or whatever, then there really is no need to complain. We are just bacteria or fish doing what bacteria or fish do. And to me, some how we need to start talking to all the bacteria, fish and animals that are existing now and tell them to stop eating and destroying each other because one day they are going to be people and they need to learn to be kind to one another. If you don’t believe in God, then please tell me how evolution makes any sense. I think believing in evolution takes way more faith to believe in than to believe in God. Help me make sense of this: Evolution tells me this - nothing created everything. At one time there was nothing, then somehow out of nothing, there was a supposed Big Bang that created something, then after that, this something, this material thing or whatever it was, that was unliving, inorganic somehow started living - life just started. And after the nothing became something, immaterial became living material went on and became intelligent living stuff - nonintelligence begat intelligence. Then after that, intelligent amoral became moral. So from the Evolution stand point, Im being asked to believe that something came from nothing, life came from non-life, intelligence came from nonintelligence and morality came from nonmorality? Seriously? That takes way more faith to believe that position than to believe that there has always been an eternal God who created everything WITH A PURPOSE, rather than just by some random chance nothing created everything and we have absolutely no purpose for our existance. What he's trying to say is that you do not end up in hell because you did not know you are going there. If you have an exam tomorrow and you are playing video games instead, you already know the result. You will NOT pass that exam if you are not getting prepared for it. Praise be.. a new Ask Cliffe video. Cliffe says an atheist can change his mind and believe something totally different the next day, I don't know of any atheist who changes their views on a whim. Thats not how it works, generally, we have beliefs in certain things, and when we hear more compelling evidence which overturns what we previously believed, we carefully rationalize the new information and think about it then come to a new conclusion.. these things aren't whimsical, it's not as Cliffe sometimes says "..yesterday I liked spinach, today I like broccoli". That's not how it works. A lot of thought goes into it.

I don't believe miracles ( things which defy the laws of nature)..occur, eg, turning water into wine, walking on water, someone coming back to life after being dead for 3 days, someone floating up into the air ( as in the ascension of Christ) . What is stopping God from totally healing a man who doctors say is 100% blind, eg: someone like Stevie Wonder.. that would do it for me, but there are lots of other things which I'd find convincing.

With regards to saying a prayer to ask God to reveal himself in some way, I cannot even begin to tell you the number of times I've done that. That's one of the reasons I am now the person I am now, a non believer. It would be good to know exactly how God reveals himself to you Jacob? Is it a voice in your head?, could that voice be a part of your own conscience talking to you in the same way my subconscious mind talks to me? I'm sure there are millions of Muslims and Hindu's around the world who truly believe their God is speaking to them. It's a fascinating subject Jacob isn't it.

The truth should fear no investigation but other than measuring them based on our understanding of reality, we have no way to be able to investigate the miracles claims of the Bible anyway. Unless there is a Jesus who is willing to come out of hiding and confirm all of it, we've got nothing.
For example, the Bible tells us that Jesus turned water into wine, how do we investigate that? The Bible also says Jesus walked on water, how to we check to see if he did? It also says he fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fishes, how are we meant to examine that?
None of the miracle claims in the Bible is of a testable nature, which is already suspicious in and of itself, because one would have thought that if there really is a God that wants us to believe all these miracles stories happened, that they would make it easy for us all to put them to the test to find out, not just tell us things that are impossible for us to investigate and yet not one single Christian seems to be able to repeat any of those miracles the Jesus they believe in did back two thousand years ago, to at least give us something tangible to investigate in the here and now.
We are being asked in the Bible just to believe they happened back then but why should we just believe they happened back then without question when there are so many other claims in other books as well that were made about other allegedly divine individuals such as Muhammad flying up to Heaven on a horse?
While we are at it, praying to the God you believe is the right one to see if he will show us, would you also like us to pray to Allah to see if he is real and to reveal to us the truth about the Quran to see if he will? How many more alleged Gods have we got to pray to in order to find out if they are real or not?
How many different faith doctrines have we got to try to see if they work for us or not?? Yes, you're correct, it doesn't exactly say he is. This is yet another thing that Christians are divided over and have been probably since the earliest Christian churches and even Jesus himself, according to the Bible seems to make conflicting claims about his status, eg, in John 10:30 he says "I and the Father are one" and yet he then implies at another point when talking about when the judgement day will be that they are two different minds when he said in Matthew 24:36 ""But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father".
Which would make no sense if he and the Father are supposed to be literally one and the same. It's all up for interpretation and this is the whole problem I have with the Bible. Not for nothing is it called 'The Book Of Multiple Choice', you can just about get anything you want from the Bible and Christians certainly do, on the last official count, there were around 40,000 different Christian denominations/organisations, including sub-categories of various denominations and straight out Christian organisations and movements etc, all claiming to have the "right understanding of Gods word" and all claiming that the others are "in error" or "falling short of what God requires and need to repent".
Yet, so far, there doesn't seem to be any God coming out of hiding and clearing it up. I mean, how hard would it be for an all-powerful being to simply show up and say "h folks of the world, I am God, your creator, THIS church here is the right church and this is the CORRECT understanding of my word, please follow this ONLY and disregard all the others because they will get you to Hell, thank you".

Again, John, respectfully, what you are dealing with is sin problem not an evidence or disbelief problem. You don’t believe, not because there is not enough proof of God's existence - God has said that He is so clearly known, He has shown Himself to all of us that we are without excuse for denying Him - so God’s claim is that you DO know Him but because you, JUST LIKE ME, before coming to Christ, love your lifestyle and your personal sin and deep down, you suppress the knowledge of God and you stand firm in the fact that no one is going to set rules for you and tell you how to live your life....especially some "God" that you profess that you cant see or dont believe in. The reason everything pertaining to God is confusing to you is because you have not let go of your sin, you still live for your desires and they are not the desires of Christ. You are either a slave to sin and this world or you are a slave to Christ. The only free will you have is to ultimately freely choose based on your nature and your nature is that of a sinful fallen human being, as is mine, who if you can be honest with yourself, is prideful, arrogant and selfish and our desire to be autonomous. Do you do “good” at times? Yes, Im sure you do…or so it may seem externally, but again, being honest with yourself, why? If I was a betting man, there are selfish motives behind your “good” works most of the time, as there have been with mine, therefore, making them no good at all in the eyes of God and no good in the eyes of others when and if they ever were to find out our motives. That is why we need a Savior. We are broken and perverted before a Holy God. The hard part that you have to accept, is that God DOES exist, and He IS the God of all creation, whether you believe in Him or not, whether you curse Him, hate Him, deny Him, dont agree with Him, raise your fist at Him.....He is God and you will stand before Him in judgement one day for the sins you have committed against Him and Him alone. You can say you are an aetheist or agnostic, but you wont live that world view out. You will go through life living as a Christian. You will go through life living as if your life has value, as if your loved ones and friends have value and are worthy of dignity and respect and we ARE all worthy of those things because we are created in the image of God, not because we came from bacteria. If you are going to take the atheistic or agnostic stance, then let your life be consistence with that stance. Stop worrying about morality and how people treat you or how people may offend you, your loved ones or your friends, don’t worry or get upset if people try to rob from you or steal from you, because if we aren’t created in the image of God, there is no moral law or moral law giver, and we are just the descendants of bacteria or fish or whatever, then there really is no need to complain. We are just bacteria or fish doing what bacteria or fish do. And to me, some how we need to start talking to all the bacteria, fish and animals that are existing now and tell them to stop eating and destroying each other because one day they are going to be people and they need to learn to be kind to one another. At one time there was nothing, then somehow out of nothing, there was a supposed Big Bang that created something, then after that, this something, this material thing or whatever it was, that was unliving, inorganic somehow started living - life just started. And after the nothing became something, immaterial became living material went on and became intelligent living stuff - nonintelligence begat intelligence. Then after that, intelligent amoral became moral. So from the Evolution stand point, Im being asked to believe that something came from nothing, life came from non-life, intelligence came from nonintelligence and morality came from nonmorality? Before a man can become a god, he must first serve (just as Jesus served).
There was nothing special about Jesus that wasn't accomplished by those that came before him.
And when Yahweh said: I Am, it was spoken in Hebrew, not Greek.

Ego Eime, means: I Exist or To Be.
Yahweh does not mean: I Am, I Exist, or To Be.
Who exists.?
Man exists.
1) I Am that which Exists.
2) I Am That I Am, and I Am, the one true Living God.
3) Yahweh (Jehovah) was not the Father that Jesus spoke of.
4) Jesus never uttered the word: Jehovah.
