I have been doing a squeeze of ruby red grapefruit along with my lime. Bombay sapphire and a good tonic. The ruby red grapefruit punches it up a notch and makes a really awesome gin and tonic.
I haven't tried to sapphire but I'm currently drinking a gin and tonic with regular Bombay gin, tonic water chilled, and a spritz of lime juice from a bottle I got for $1.49 at the store. Still excellent.
For me a good match is Rokugin with Mediterranean tonic water, few drops of lime juice and a slice of lime on top. Of course ice as well. Back in the past I liked rum and whisky more(still my favourite), but especially now with this heatbomb and after a long working day I really enjoy taking my time for preparing every now and then my gin and tonic. So simple, so amazing. PS: the trick with the spoon is something I'll note down, but just for preparing my own drink lol
I used Bombay sapphire for a lab report at college once. My report was if Gin or Rum had a higher antioxidant concentration. I used Captain Morgans white rum too. If you're wondering, the gin had more. Also tastes better.
@@Yammie_Moto671 With me it's the opposite. I love Tanqueray martinis but don't like Bombay Sapphire for martinis. I find it too floral, too bitter, too busy and not juniper forward enough. But I think it's an excellent gin and tonic gin.
I make what I call G&T plus; 1.5 oz regular Bombay gin 1.5 oz tonic 1.5 oz soda 1 oz lemon juice 1 oz lime juice Stir. I find this even more refreshing.
I tried it and it totally works! Sam Carter, you are the one! I just found an offer on a local website to get those brand glasses that are shown on the video, totally getting them! Bombay thank you for sharing!
I like to sacrifice the traditional recipe for 1 part simple syrup and orange zest or 3 drops of orange essential oil. I think it's the perfect mix between traditional and the other gin mixes. Either way, sweet, sour, bitter and the smell of lime+orange is just a perfect combination.
You sure make that look tasty. I saw another bartender put a different twist on that. In addition to the basic ingredients, he also added some orange bitters. Perhaps give that a go, mate.
I turned my computer on just to get to THIS channel for THIS recipe. See you people later! Remember: drive responsibly, but drink as if an asteroid is going hit your house within the next half hour. Cheers!
I prefer limejuice ,brown sugar, crushed ice or even puting everything in a blender like its done with a frozen daiquiri ,put in you desired amount of bombai saphire mix it homogeniously and fill up a cooled glass to 1/3 with sparkling water .fill up with your premix and give a little stir with a drinking straw.. enjoy
I have a Giant bottle of Bombay in my room, and a little one that I got for my birthday because everybody knows I love Bombay Sapphire. I love it so much I actually drink it with soda water or mineral water. But I definitely got a learn how to make more cocktails.
Gin mixed with bitter lemon is good fo!r a change ( Schweppes) Not quite as bitter as .tonic water. I can recommend it for hair of the dog and white line fever.
I add a sliced chilly, half a lime juice, and instead of tonic water I use sprite or 7up to Bombay Sapphire, (you can use tonic water along with sugar too) ... This mix works out amazing for me, smooth with a slight burn
4 ice cubes + 90ml of chilled sapphire + non-chilled 90ml tonic + 15 ml mint juice (not syrup) + a squeeze half lime + shaken not stirred, pour em in + 2 ice cubes + topup tonic water That do me that well
Gotta love the title "Senior Ambassador" - sounds way to important than it should be for a job that requires a skill set of throwing some ice cubes and pouring two types of liquid from two bottles.
I love to swizzle all my drinks unless they require to be shaken. Lol 😂 I like that word “swizzle” it’s fun to say and just rolls off the tongue 👅. Sounds cool too.
Yes the Bombay Sapphire and tonic is a damn fine drink...might go down to the Big Barrel and get myself another bottle today..anyone ever tried the Star of Bombay ?
Serious question.....has anyone ever had a hangover after drinking Bombay Sapphire? I almost never do. I love the bottom shelf. I have one like it. But mine are empty.
That trick with the bar spoon was pretty tight
Be
@Steve Gandy saw it on a jamie oliver video from 2014 too
Steve Gandy means Cool or fabulous
Steve Gandy it means cool... boomer
Captivating
This shelf in the back looks amazing
Very well organized
i absolutely love this. much better than wine or beer.
cheers! 🍸
@DopamineDreams nah you only use 50ml of it per drink...
It’s so refreshing
Yes and yes. Absolutely beautiful blend and technique 👍🏼👍🏼
Such a great cocktail, really easy to mess up! Love the attention to detail here! Cheers!

Speaks like an Oxford graduate in masters in literature
Ends up making Gin and Tonics
😂🤣🤣
He’s probably enjoying life a lot more by being a bartender than an academician.
theres nothing wrong with making gin and tonics all day
Loooooooooooool
😅😅

I will test the rokugin at 31.
Nifty trick with that tonic pour. A really good bartender is a magician. Bombay Sapphire is my go-to gin.
2:31 chill out mate. It's just a g&t
I mean, good g&t in a warm day is a god-sent, so why not?
I used Bombay sapphire for a lab report at college once. My report was if Gin or Rum had a higher antioxidant concentration. I used Captain Morgans white rum too.
If you're wondering, the gin had more. Also tastes better.
great demonstration there! fun and clear! cheers
I can drink this shit all day
Look at the bottom shelf behind him all that Bombay. My kind of place. God rest your soul, Dick Marcinko.
My husband's favorite gin, because of Marcinko.
Personally, I prefer Tanqueray 10 BUT I've had Bombay Sapphire and it's excellent as well.
Agree. Tanqueray for G&T but Bombay for Martinis
@@Yammie_Moto671 With me it's the opposite. I love Tanqueray martinis but don't like Bombay Sapphire for martinis. I find it too floral, too bitter, too busy and not juniper forward enough. But I think it's an excellent gin and tonic gin.
adding fresh basil even makes it taste better
What an art when he did it with the bar spoon
Fantastic video, I work in a country pub, will definitely be trying the tonic with the spoon tonight,
I make what I call G&T plus;
1.5 oz regular Bombay gin
1.5 oz tonic
1.5 oz soda
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz lime juice
Stir. I find this even more refreshing.
yeah so you're describing sprite
Amazing! Love the trick with the bar spoon
I tried it and it totally works! Sam Carter, you are the one! I just found an offer on a local website to get those brand glasses that are shown on the video, totally getting them! Bombay thank you for sharing!
Bombay Sapphire = The King of Gin
Endearingly narrated n the act with the bar spoon was quite amazing. Should copy. My favorite gin btw👍👍👍
I've got Bombay Gin, a can of Club Soda and some artificial lime juice. Fuck it, I'm trying this.
How was it??
Pretty refreshing actually. But this ain't a drink you can sip on the entire night since Bombay Gin seems to be heavily aromatic.
Gin smells and tastes like perfume when drank pure, but that helped me enjoy it c:
Love GIN so elegantly and delicious!
Certified Platinum!!!!!😎
that is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOt of Bombay
Wow I just learnt some advanced English words from a bartender. His way of using vocabulary is beautiful.
anyone here during the pandemic.....
the bar spoon trick was the most terrific
had Star of Bombay yesterday at home. It was really smooth. had it neat too just to appreciate it.
I like to sacrifice the traditional recipe for 1 part simple syrup and orange zest or 3 drops of orange essential oil.

My best cocktail... Thanks for the video
Close your eyes and you would think Gordon was filming the most amazing beautiful lovely gin and tonic😅
I’ve definitely poured down the bar spoon before, but never seen anyone stir simultaneously. Cheers.
Thank u sir..I will be making it exactly like urs at a cocktail party I'm doing this Saturday
If you infused blue pea in gin and mixed lemon juice and tonic water, it magically change the colour blue to clear pink
Thanks for excellent service job...
You sure make that look tasty. I saw another bartender put a different twist on that. In addition to the basic ingredients, he also added some orange bitters. Perhaps give that a go, mate.
I add Dry Vermouth, and then I stir it into a vat with muddled lemon/lemon peels. 3oz gin typically.
mi sono emozionato...
Well done. I'm a beefeater fan. Beyond that that , bravo. Having one right now.
2:30 he just stirred that shit with his nose!
a deep flute glass would be more preferable that you don't miss your nose in to the cocktail.
Bombay Sapphire is frowned upon by gin snobs. I have tried many premium gins but Bombay makes the best, classic G&T.
Love a good G&T!
I turned my computer on just to get to THIS channel for THIS recipe. See you people later!

"Turned your computer on"
Mate it's 2019 one swipe to TH-cam and boom!
Look at that blue sapphire bottle...💗💗 It's just lovely..

nice description and cam
Outstanding post mate!
Bar spoon pour is slick!
So many “expert” bartenders criticizing needlessly. So rude.
last open a distillery in Goa under the brand name of LOVE'S DYNAMIC when it's filthy . it's then make everything energy ..
Wow perhaps next cocktail whiskey and soda 👌
I add a sliced chilly, half a lime juice, and instead of tonic water I use sprite or 7up to Bombay Sapphire, (you can use tonic water along with sugar too) ... This mix works out amazing for me, smooth with a slight burn
It must taste great!
Having one just now ❤
i will say goodbye this *2020* with this drink to the happy next year
I love this cocktail! 😎
My drink too🥂
I just love my G&T specialy pink G&T with strawberries, some blue berries and rasberries with mint leafes, awesome😂👍🍸🍸🍸
Gonna make some today
pour gin and tonic water over ice, give a quick stir, garnish with a lime . stopnover complicating the easiest drinks in the world.
lol I know right? pouring the water through the that dirty spoon handle he's been touching all day.... no one has time for all that.... Lol
It's called 'showmanship' you uncultured swine!
If its FeverTree Tonic (Mediterranean or Elderflower) you get the best
That’s true
Simple drinks are the hardest, thats where all the small details come into play to get the best flavour
Can't beat it...
4 ice cubes + 90ml of chilled sapphire + non-chilled 90ml tonic + 15 ml mint juice (not syrup) + a squeeze half lime + shaken not stirred, pour em in + 2 ice cubes + topup tonic water
That do me that well

I'm sold!!
I'm allergic to alcohol and I'm still interested on this vid
Kitties & Doxies me too, wake up with a headache every time.
Love my g&t with bombay
So this guy is the Gordon Ramsay of bartending? Beautiful.
Yea give that man a bells👍🥃
smells like after shave. tastes like a decent drink.
Taste like it smells not nice, tangauray Gordon's all day
Le Bombay saphirs.., ça se boit congelé ! 😉
Okay you really can make a science of everything
"We like a ratio of one to two."
Don't put words in my mouth.
I was expecting something incredible ... anybody can do that with or without experience
I would have had three by the time this dude was done making the first one
All the dirt in his hand goes into the drink with that last trick with the bar.
Thats the point. This drink is corona-friendly
Amazing ❤️❤️
I love to swizzle all my drinks unless they require to be shaken. Lol 😂 I like that word “swizzle” it’s fun to say and just rolls off the tongue 👅. Sounds cool too.
Yes the Bombay Sapphire and tonic is a damn fine drink...might go down to the Big Barrel and get myself another bottle today..anyone ever tried the Star of Bombay ?
Best gin in the world is still Bombay Sapphire ☺
This is exactly like Jamie Oliver's video on the same subject. Even the same words are used!
donal Mclaughlin Just thought the exact same thing. Someone's a copycat!
Lol that’s true I just watched Jamie’s before and thought the same thing
I want to place an order of the oldest of the oldest grandfather bottle you got lmao no joke thats moonshine bro
Everyone: cool video
Me: I need that freakin spoon
"Now we swizzle the ice-" no, you're stirring the ice
Check out our aftermovie of Berlin's unique Gin Festival 2017!
Honestly, I need that glass. Why are companies stingy with gift sets nowadays? 😭
Serious question.....has anyone ever had a hangover after drinking Bombay Sapphire? I almost never do. I love the bottom shelf. I have one like it. But mine are empty.
So good
Enjoying my Four Pillars gin and tonic while watching this video.

Just realized his spoon is a bit more straight than usual. Thats why I cant for the life do that trick.
the dynamite love .
Imma buy a bar spoon and bottle of tonic water just to try that out lmao
Would have been nice, if there had been at least one bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin in the bar.
I love Boombay gin tonic..
LOVE IT ❤
