It's very important that you make these videos to show younger people, especially in the US, that Russians are more like us than anything. The arts and sciences are very rich and deep, just like the history. And the country is so vast that anything is possible. McDonalds is a franchise - this means that all the restaurant are owned by independents owners who are obliged to use the same fabrication instructions/supliers and marketing system. I've been to a few Russian cities over the years but never to Kemerovo but from this video I think it's one of the more attractive ones that I've been to. It seems to have a more European feel to the central core district than most other Russian cities especially because it doesn't contain those large storefront photos of the items that are the items for sale, plus it seems that Kemerovo does maintenance workers mow and maintain the landscape in and around the central business district unlike other major Russian cities where grass and tress are left unattended the winter died back season.
Hi Julia, absolutely beautiful and to a guy who grown up during cold War and having the West and the East cultures without the Cyrillic signs I could not tell where in the world you are at. Plus I always consider Siberia covered in ice and snow. Thank you for showing me around and stay safe. 🌍🌎🌏

Btw , Eli from Russia vlog , went home also to her hometown where her granny lives. Hope both of you collaborate for a few vlog while Matt is away.
Hi Julia, many thanks taking us on your tour. Listening to your pronouncitaion is already close to a native english speaker. Sounds very good. Funny to see you changed to english in the new russian McD. Guess and hope you will have a good influence to your younger sister and pushing her as well to learn english as it is a good base for travelling which she should do once to open her view to the world. Nice to see you bought from local markets to support those people. May be you can the translation or the latin name of the apple via a plant app. You are right that also older buildings should be renovated to get a nicer view of the city picture. Just a bit of colour painting can turn an area into a shinning part of the city. Stay safe, stay healthy and greetings to Matt as well.
I hear the English accent mixed with Russian accent. Interesting, also I’m enjoying this video. Like others, I have always thought of Siberia as a big hunk of ice, a place where the “enemies of the state” were sent, never to be seen again.
Maybe there will be Jolibee in Russia... I like to see that in the future... Looking forward to see you back in the Philippines Matt and Julia... take care always... 😄

Autumn is my favorite time of year too .
But winter is coming Julia . it's just around the corner .🥶🥶🥶

OMG 0:10 what a cute kid and you still have that same *Smile* ... I'm glad to see you're doing well, back home checking out the old neighborhood. Excellent camera work giving us a tour around and where you lived growing up thanks for the tour... All the Best to You and Matt...
Thank you so much Larry 🙏🏼❤️
This video was beautiful. Thanks.
I like in these videos the aesthetics of the Russian cities and infrastructure.
❤️❤️❤️
. I'm a Patreon now. So nice to see your home town and your sister too. I hope your Gran is as comfortable as can be. I like your Grans kitchen clock as well. Oh well here's hoping for a jar of jam......(joking)
Wishing you the best!
I love seeing your town. I feel like I’m there, sort of. Looks like a fair sized city. Lots of construction.
Thanks for the video. You look very rested and happy. 👍
Thank you Paul ❤️
Thanks for sharing Siberian views very interesting👍❤

Thank you very much 🤗❤️
Greetings from Boston from Russian Immigrants since 1992. We are originally from Moscow and Minsk. Haven’t been in Russia for many many years. What a mistake! We should go back and rediscover our beautiful country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
Нам очень понравилось Ваше Кемерово!
Yes go back please!!!
Those small apples may be what we call Mayhaw apples in the US. They are hard to find because they only grow in certain areas, but they make great jam.
Nice quiet autumnal scenes -- little sis is very pretty -- nice to see trees everywhere
I've been to a few Russian cities over the years but never to Kemerovo but from this video I think it's one of the more attractive ones that I've been to. It seems to have a more European feel to
the central core district than most other Russian cities especially because it doesn't contain those large storefront photos of the items that are the items for sale, plus it seems that Kemerovo does maintenance workers mow and maintain the landscape in and around the central business district unlike other major Russian cities where grass and tress are left unattended the winter died back season.
Just love the fact that the videos that get the highest hits are about normal life in Russia. Keep it up.
Hi Julia, absolutely beautiful and to a guy who grown up during cold War and having the West and the East cultures without the Cyrillic signs I could not tell where in the world you are at. Plus I always consider Siberia covered in ice and snow. Thank you for showing me around and stay safe. 🌍🌎🌏
Great video. The colour of the trees is beautiful. Autumn is my favourite season. 🐱 X
Beautiful Siberian town! And you have a beautiful smile 😊 Wish other Russian TH-camrs smile too.
Very insightful. Thank you for all your hard work ❤️
I think the Apples you bought, are in the USA a type of Crab Apple, a bit sour. But makes great jelly's and jams!!!
Good video, thank you!! These apples are interesting :D
I'm sure it was comforting for you to be in Kemerovo , the place you grew up in. It's a lovely place in Autumn. To see your family, that's precious. Hope everybody is doing ok. Your sister looks great.
How is your brother doing? Childhood Memories always bring mixed feelings. Harriet and I always revisit ours. Thank You Julia for taking us on this journey. We Love you🙏❤🙏 from Jim ,
Harriet and Yuki. Richmond, Va.
I’ve been following your journey since your Philippine visit. Thank you for this enlightening video. Take care lovely couple.
Towns , Cities on theirr native buildings , houses , food businesses are the ones I love to see on each vlog not coming from my country. Cities on its " modern " updated landscapes are just facade.
Btw , Eli from Russia vlog , went home also to her hometown where her granny lives. Hope both of you collaborate for a few vlog while Matt is away.
I read Gorky Park as a young lady…. Changed me, helped me grow up. I still carry things from that story, and I’m almost 60 years old.
The food prices in Russia are much better than in the U.K. now. The prices here just for ordinary things are hard for a lot of people to afford.
That city actually looks very nice.
I've spent 2 days watching you. Thank you for sharing your life so interesting. Jo.
One thing I like about Russia is that the sidewalks are very wide
Though a bit narrow at the tramstop.
there is nothing I like about russia. not one fucking thing
@@strahaironscale571 we love Russia ❤❤
I loved Russia and my adopted family there)))
I think they're crabapples, we had a couple of trees growing up. Love your sister's jeans. Can't find them anywhere here any more.
Prices go up more here in Europe; life seems good over there!
Those Little Apples are known as Crab Apples in northern Ontario, Canada where I live, we make jelly out them, we also pickle them and can them too.
Very interesting to see life in Siberia back to normal. Very pretty country. Thank youJulia
@Юрий & Ко просто не обращайте внимания на этого идиота! они все невежественные ублюдки!
How i ended up on this channel, I don't know but already watched three Vlogs. 👏 👏 new subscriber x
I hear the English accent mixed with Russian accent. Interesting, also I’m enjoying this video. Like others, I have always thought of Siberia as a big hunk of ice, a place where the “enemies of the state” were sent, never to be seen again.
Hello from USA. Your English is very good . Thanks for sharing your story with us and it was quite interesting.
Thank you so much Edward ❤️
Круто! Захотелось попутешествовать по стране.
Interesting video. Like!
Maybe there will be Jolibee in Russia... I like to see that in the future... Looking forward to see you back in the Philippines Matt and Julia... take care always... 😄
Thank you for sharing your hometown experiences ❤
