Man, I’ve been thinking the same thing for years.
If she says there is a ‘literal buttload’ of unreleased material. Then why didn’t she capitalise on it when she was in control of his estate? Maybe because the fact that you can hear Kurts writing style smothering her biggest album “Live Through This.” (That title has always just seemed too coincidental) and now with a huge resource of material, maybe she could obtain that level of greatness she’s always craved.
I may be stretching on this one but Smashing Pumpkins “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” kinda didn’t sound like Billy’s style.

Shady character, but Kurt did enjoy jamming with Hole better than Nirvana and I wonder what the jam sessions were like?
"To tell you the truth I would rather just quit my band and join Hole, but only because when I have played music with them there's a level of connection that's a little bit higher than with anyone else I have ever played with, it's amazing, it's something that is totally satisfying for Courtney and I but completely unrealistic. We're already so intertwined with each other and most people don't even think of the band Nirvana anymore they think of Kurt and Courtney and it's just too much, it gets in the way, people would overlook the music and look into other things and it wouldn't be taken seriously. I'd like to someday, but as of now I couldn't see anything for the next five years or so, we still jam together every once and a while or so. It's a sad situation, I really wish we could just join bands" -Kurt Cobain.
Editing to add that most likely Kristen Pfaff is why Kurt liked jamming with Hole so much, they were really good friends, Kurt did worry it would make Courtney jealous. Erik was Kristen's ex also so if Kurt would have been on Courtney's as well as erik's bad sides. Courtney was cheating on Kurt in Rome and according to her is why he od'd in Rome. Kurt apparently didn't tell Dave Grohl because Dave said Kurt said it was just an accident. It's possible Kurt confided in Kristen about the cheating and maybe even starting a band with her and that seems like key factors in motive for both their murders.

Well, you should research a bit more before writing such a comment. Eric Erlandson's book consists of 52 prose poem letters which is not accessible to the casual reader. In Letters to Kurt, Erlandson shares his views and anger on the American society, the digital world, fame, suicide, and much more. But instead of talking to anonymous readers, he talks directly to his friend Kurt Cobain. Hence the title, Letters to Kurt. Erlandson wrote, ''I'm talking to myself really. But I found Kurt to be the perfect muse. He was someone that I knew briefly, yet loved and admired immensely, a friend whom I wanted so badly to help, yet in the end failed to understand.'' I don't think that Eric Erlandson was attempting to cash in on Kurt Cobain's death with that kind of book. eric killed kurt and kristen with lethal heroin. I dont think he had bad intentions but he is now a monk or some shit according to Courtney so maybe he did have bad intentions toward kristen lol this would make sense given the history of everyone in that scene and the fact that nothing adds up with courtney or other peoples stories by word of mouth.. it makese sense this would be the cause because she (courtney) could have been covering eric for selling lethal heroin because she knows it wasnt intended and that is one of her best friends. she didnt want to lose her husband AND one of her best friends,

I've never ruled this guy out in either murder, seen interviews with him that make my skin crawl, total weirdo. Also everybody who is suspected in this is so sure they would never be brought up on anything, maybe that's because they know who really did it? He had as much motive as anybody, idk, just get a weird feeling when I hear him.

@@InBL000M oh boy.. how do we start? Have you read the TG Manual and listened to all the available recordings Tom made of CL? SHE Essentially admitted the Cali was there, &could have done it (maybe late April 94 and by mid June she's telling Tg "we need to have Cali arrested" but does she have him arrested? No! She gives him 30k so he can "go to rehab" which he never did he ran around with uhh what's the girl that was in Janes addiction?? She was a model or something too idk. But Jessica Hopper also in her book admitted that Eric came (to give Cali something) and that Cali had a syringe in masking tape afterwards and she knew then "death was in the house" and that Kurt would die.. and in fact she got so sick about it shew flew back to Minnesota before Bonnie & Rene left.. in fact I think Cali, Rene naverrette, Bonnie Dillard and Jennifer Adamson were all there well past when we know he was dead- and again by their own admission because Rene & Bonnie called Unsolved mysteries in 96 and confirmed they were there.
I'm mean really you just have to listen to what everyone says. As far as the ppl who were actually at the house. Those phone calls of CL ready to have Cali arrested for the credit cards being stolen and essentially to be investigated as an accomplice in a murder conspiracy.. it's pretty telling to me. She thinks Cali may have done it and wants him arrested yet ... Oh that's still my friend, he was Kurt's best friend.. I can't get him to do this or that for me.. he's an a-hole! and then pays him more money??? It just doesn't make sense. I might not be able to prove every detail.. but that's what happened for sure 100 percent I bet my life to a suitcase full of dog-doo.. and if you research the topic and waste years of your life like I did.. you'll find the same!! @@dmvconartists1855 Tom Grant is a known liar who repeatedly refuses to hand over unedited and complete tapes, he simply posts out of context clips and manipulates/edits them to con gullible Cobain parasocials into buying them. He's even admitted to murder theorists that he cannot release the tapes in their entirety because it would ruin his "case". There is no case. Grant literally made up this theory, originally to deflect from his own incompetence (he rang the police in tears in April 1994 begging them not to go public with how badly he fucked up finding Cobain, fearing Nirvana fans would blame him for Cobain's suicide) and then because he smelt a grift and has essentially been profiting of a dead man's estate by mooching money off his gullible fans to buy his debunked, lying bullshit. The guy is an absolute con artist.
Dewitt did go to rehab, he went to rehab in the late nineties and has been clean since the early 2000's. Money was offered to any of their inner circle but only for rehab, it wasn't a gift, they couldn't just claim it, they had to actually go to rehab. Lanegan confirmed this in his book, he was offered the money to go to rehab and wasn't permitted to just take it, Eventually, when he was a crackhead living on the streets, he accepted Love's offer and Love chose which rehab centre he went to and made sure he actually got there before the rehab centre was paid directly. Dewitt, Carlson and Lanegan (who took her up at various stages) never actually touched the money themselves.
Love and Dewitt had not been friends for at least two years before Cobain's suicide - she was trying to get clean and Cobain and Dewitt, who were friends, were enabling each other's addiction. In fact, both mocked Love when she tried to quit and sarcastically called her "detox girl". Love responded by trying to fire Dewitt (which Cobain refused) and then banishing him to his room when he was in the house and mockingly referring to him as "the help".
Cobain had given Dewitt access to his credit cards, unknown to Love, to buy heroin for him and to use as expenses as part of his inner circle. Dewitt admitted fully that after Cobain's death and before he was found, that he attempted to use the credit card to book a flight to LA for his girlfriend and Love went spare when she found out he had access to their finances. Love was, according to many, grieving and lashing out left, right and centre for a while. Hopper was always melodramatic and liked to over-emphasize her involvement in different parts of rock history but it's complete nonsense that she's involved in some conspiracy - this was a clear-cut case of suicide and people trying to attribute foolproof logic to the actions of people who were eight shades of heroin addict has always been hilarious to me.
