- Our precious baby girl, Lebone, was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 after she came into our lives. Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards syndrome, brings challenges affecting various parts of the body and causes developmental delays. While it's considered a life-limiting condition, we've chosen to embrace every moment with her.
During pregnancy, we opted not to undergo genetic testing. For us, termination was never an option, and we wanted to cherish the journey without unnecessary worries. We firmly believe in the sanctity of life and that each child is crafted by a loving Creator with a purpose.
Learning about Lebone's diagnosis filled us with fear. The doctors painted a bleak picture, warning us not to expect much and preparing us for the worst. The possibility of losing our baby shook us to our core.
Yet, Lebone has shown incredible strength. Despite spending 45 days in the NICU, she's now home where she belongs. Her sisters adore her, and our hearts overflow with love for her. This journey has taught us to trust in the Lord's plan, knowing that He has good intentions for us and for Lebone.
In the midst of uncertainty, we've witnessed God's guiding hand and find solace in the belief that He's writing our story, and it will be beautiful.

I remember when my little brother was born fentse,my mom was told the he wouldn't be able to walk and he would not lead a normal life,my mom was shattered as the big sister i had to step in as young as I was at the time i had unbelievable faith and that's what the baby needed we took a journey,if i tell you the impossible happened when i began to train him how to sit and strengthen his back i believed with all my heart that he would walk and lead a normal today when i tell God is faithful he is walking and he is going to normal school till this i day i testify the goodness of the Lord..Trust in God family for nothing is impossible with God❤

This is such a beautiful testimony. I’m 25 years and I have a 6 year old with Down syndrome. He has had a kidney related surgery and an open heart surgery. We were told that by the time he is 6 his one kidney that’s left in his body would start failing and he would have to go on dialysis and ultimately a kidney transplant. But God is so faithful and we can trust him. He hasn’t been to the hospital in 2 full years, he is happy and healthy, going to school, going to therapy, going to swimming and easily being the joy and light of our lives. God is our most trusted physician, a creator who makes everything perfect and a good father who gives us only good and perfect gifts and it is his report alone that we believe. I wish you all the best in your journey mom and dad. May God increase your capacity to raise your beautiful light and heal her in a way only He knows how to. ♥️

Drs can be insensitive at times😢I remember in 2007 wen diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma my oncologist told me that I have 6months to live if I'm lucky🙄it's now 16yrs later and I'm still going strong..... We serve a living God and Lebone is gonna be a testimony that God is faithful afterall all things work together for good to those who trust the lord and are called according to His purpose 🙏

I had an unplanned c-section, the Dr said straight to my eyes that my baby's heart has stopped beating so you know what that means and I said No.. My baby was in NICU for 2 weeks coz she couldn't breath on her own.. Today my daughter is 13 months old and healthy.. God will see you through and baby Lebone will be healed ❤️

So much strength and grace in this video 😍 as a paediatrician,Edward syndrome is so rare and complex. We are taught to break bad news as a protocol,it has to be direct and avoid confusion however we have to be present and supportive. I think Lebone’s Dr was thrown off,it’s a difficult diagnosis to pick up and get all the specialists in in a matter of hours. Faith takes over where medical science is uncertain because truly no one knows how long but God♥️

Praying for you family. I've experienced the same journey. It was twin pregnancy, born at 32 weeks. One twin (a girl) is diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, the other one (a boy) is normal. Good has been so good, they are 10 and both perfectly normally.
Even though I'm still a special needs mom, I have never been so grateful for her. That child has saved me so much from myself in so many ways.
Forgot to mention that, the week I delivered them, was the same week my mom started Chemotherapy, so I was so alone in this journey, and sadly she (my mom) passed away 18 months later.
So nje, life has been giving me lemons but the girl played a huge role in my healing.
So family, we are here to listen and support you. God is also good, He knows Lebone is exactly were she belongs, with you. You are the chosen ones, so consider yourselves special for being chosen. God has entrusted you with His precious treasure.

When I was pregnant 2 years ago after they did the genetic testing I was told that my daughter has a high probability of having down syndrome. I then offered further test to confirm, but the Dr was adamant that she is more than likely to have down syndrome. I even remember I had to sign a disclaimer that the Dr had informed me of this. My daughter is now 2 years old and she doesn't have down syndrome. She has no health conditions that are serious in fact she is very healthy. My point is even the test's themselves can be wrong. It is my belief that you have a very gifted and special child, cherish your moments with her .My daughter's name Kganya Lebone

I just want take the weight off of Leratos shoulders and give Phetola a hug. His strain is written all over his face and his silence is so loud. I know its not the same but Drs told us to come say our goodbyes to our dad. We refused and prayed hard he woke up and till today hes referred to as the Miracle man. The Drs & Nurses escourted him on the hallway with song, prayer and claps as he left all in disbelief. I have the same faith for you and your family. This family just earned their self a subscriber. I have a Syndrome as well ,known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) I have the very rare one type 4 and 5. According to the doctors I wasn't gonna make it, my mom says she'd always check if I am still alive. She lived in fear that I would die any day, I just turned 26 last month and I've done beyond what was said about me I even graduated last year (BSc in Biomedical Scientist) the list is yet to get long because we serve a living God. When it comes to doctors we need to not view ourselves in a way they see us or what they say or how much they know, at the end of the day it's only God's will that matters. And somewhere in John He says "God chose us to come bare fresh fruits, that lasts long" I believe God chose Lebone to come and shine the light that she carries despite the diagnose and with God it gets better, I promise. ❤🩹❤

Our son was in icu for two weeks after giving birth to him,I couldn't take take him home which us traumatizing for my first pregnancy 💟doctors were telling us his not responding to treatment and he might be brain damaged. We prayed as family and by God's grace and mercy, his alive and healthy, yes his got autism but his an amazing boy. We love him just way he is ✨👑thank you for sharing your testimony inspiring.

I recall awaiting my NIPT results while pregnant, it was hard, could not even tell anyone we were pregnant as i was 39yrs at the time, the results came back negative but the process of do you prepare & accept or terminate its a hard conversation to have.

Family...be strong we are in prayer with you. I gave birth to my son weighing 900g and drs said he will not live beyond 5months. It was not easy i would only cry i couldn't pray i couldn't do anything. He stayed in hospital 11 months. He underwent 8 operations. Today he is 13 very handsome boy, very intelligent....my prayer partner. Sometimes we go through things because of our callings as part of the training. Lebone is not going anywhere. Our first daughter was diagnosed with a brain condition while I was 20 weeks pregnant, it was really hard and my husband was so supportive, hearing Mr Makhs describing his feelings and how he had to hide his fears and emotions just to be supportive to his wife is making me to be more sympathetic towards my husband. We thank God for great and supportive husbands. Back to the child's diagnosis, our baby was born really sick, she spent 6weeks in NICU, the first year was hard, she had to go to a lot of therapies but after turning one we have been seeing God's hand in her life, the condition is resolving and she's developing perfectly. I pray for strength and peace in your family.

Hi guys, i never comment on social media pages, but this story broke my heart. The first pic on this video brought nothing but pain and tears to me. I am a believer, and a mother of 3 girls. I had all my babies with natural birth, so i relate to everything including the refusal to go for scans because i also refused because i was told that if there was anomality they would not change that. So what's the point because i wasn't going to terminate. So i can understand the disappointment after praying so hard. For a minute i asked God why, and he took me to the story of Job. He did everything right but he still got tested...Job:13:15 says Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Hallelujah. God chose you guys, and this is part of your ministry especially because you are perfect storytellers. God wants to use you guys, and the journey has started... Such a beautiful name "Lebone". Light shall indeed shine on your path. Job22:28

Our son was born with MPS 2 which is a lack of enzyme in his body. Sadly we lost him 3 years ago. The journey was very painful for both me & my husband but God was our strength. We now believe we had an angel unaware..we learned a lot from him-he was 10 yrs when he passed on. He was a blessing to us irrespective of the struggles..may God help you & strengthen you.
