    Everyone whant lightweight aluminum rims, some people use wide steel rims.
    In (Soviet) Russia, people use cast iron wheels. Tires can puncture and wear out.

    You should weld some paddles on them for off-road.
    In the delta, farmers will weld paddles to the rims of their farm trucks, with tires still on, so they can drive in the fields. When the tires sink a little in the mud the paddles start to pull.

    If you could turn down the thickness of the manhole covers and add 2 or 3 more calipers, you could have the world's largest set of disc brakes. On 38 inch tires, that might be pretty useful.

    I have a vehicle with LT235-85R16 tires; LT for light truck, 235 for section width (measured externally from one sidewall to the other), 85 for aspect ratio, and 16 for the wheel size they are designed to run on. I have heard those tires called "pizza cutters" because they are tall and skinny.
    The manhole covers on this Lada are the true pizza cutters; of that there can be no doubt.

    I have a build request. Is possible for you to install a Larger corkscrew/Auger drill bit as the drive shaft of a vehicle and have that propell the vehicle forward and backwards on various terrain without power to the wheels. I know the Russian military have a similar vehicle and its super effective, the downside being it destroys everything in its path.:-D

    • @hazza123live
      @hazza123live 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know nearly all cars coolant systems work under pressure as water boils at 100c and an engine operates alot higher but I think it'll work just like it does in boat engines as in a pool it'll take longer for the water to get to hot as long as the original water pump is up to it 😂
