@@shoshitaketakeyani3275 I have not played but I think it could be both? Like you fend off an attack and then you get rewarded with crops right after.
The attack is based on how many crops you've planted. More than 6 and it will initiate a attack or a "raid". More crops equals a much more difficult time. The seeds also matter a lot. 15 Potatoes are worse in an attack than 15 tomatoes. Basically the rarer the seed is, the less you can have before a raid begins or gets worse. And worse is, if you plant again after an attack, the next night gets about 50% harder until eventually the farm is destroyed. You can stop farming for a night, to reset the curse.

Valid question. And yet, in an act of boredom one night at work, I decided I don't like the way our weeks or months are setup, so I made a new system with 5 day weeks, 30 days in a month, and the last month of the year had an extra week. It'd take some getting use to, but it's a bit more streamlined, none of this "28 days one month and 31 days another month" BS. Just good old multiples of 5.

I love how in the beginning of the game, they all run past the thing that allows them to craft stuff and continue to be baffled by the fact they don't have a crafting menu

@Sonic Mobian i wouldn't think of ark... most survival games have a crafting menu and getting resources is the first thing you do.
It's hidden behind environmental decorations, fire, and a subquest. It's hard to blame them.
To be fair, I'd have done the same shit. A majority of the time in crafting survival games you at least have a basic crafting crafting by hand system. Bob had the proper crafting survival instinct. Tree? Punch. Get wood. Wood good. Honestly, the game did a poor job of pointing out they needed that battery. Should've been up front and in their faces with it. The basics need to be established leagues better than what the game gave them. They were 100% right with how the notebook when from how to sprint to build car and there was absolutely nothing between those two about how to craft. Tutorial needs to give the proper basics. Then let them blunder about like idiots.
