Great video, Chris 💚 Your tomato 🍅 plants are huge! Excellent explanation about the Dahlias, as I've never grown them before, and this year is the first time. You've shown the process of propagation really clearly and simply, great help when it comes to dividing them next year or the year after.....assuming they'll survive the winter etc 😅 Best wishes, Maiju 😊💚🌿
Thank you Maiju. I hope your dahlias are amazing, as the first year is so exciting. Lifting them in the autumn not so much, but you get used to it. Good luck and I look forward to seeing how you get on.
My plants are taking over the house I also have tons in the poly. Just got 10 days left and things can go out no more frosts hopefully. It’s always like this. All the beans are so big now and the sweetcorn. I thought I was running late but obviously not going by the way they have grown. The toms aubergines peppers and chillies are still quite small so must have been late with those😊
I've done the leeks that way before, I think its easier to try and sow them individually , or maybe 2 in a root trainer, takes time but its less faff 🙂
I often think that too and definitely understand the joy of fuss free sowing and planting out. It’s a bit like waiting and sowing straight into the ground as that says so much effort too.
Great video. Your tomatoes look fabulous. Am I too late to sow tomato Cherry falls. I just looked them uo and they look gorgeous. Thank you. Happy gardening 🙂
Thanks for the great video I ❤️ Dahlias I normally don’t need to lift them but I’m wondering if some may have rotted in the ground, this year even though I did heavily mulch and bark chip but they’ve always been okay but boy have we had loads of rain?
I think the rain and wet soil can be as detrimental to them as the cold and frost, they just love to rot it seems! Lifting always seems a chore to me but I grin and bear it most years.

My chillies, aubergines and peppers are tiny too, really behind at the moment but they should catch up. Are you still having frosts?
Also I have onion plants and shallots that need to go in the ground😊
Yes my onions will be going out soon 🤞🏻although the shallots are a way off yet.

I think you could sow them now as they seem to be very quick to flower. I’d go for it 👍🏻
@@veggieplot oh great. Thank you. I'll get some ordered. They are determinate, yes?
