New Zealand road trip: Milford Sound, Scenic Flight, Mt Cook

When the borders reopened in Oct 2022, we went for a road trip to New Zealand.
After flying into Queenstown, we stayed at the Fiordland Lodge near the Fiordland National Park. The next day we drove to Milford Sound where we had a wonderful cruise. The following day we fed the animals at Deer Park Heights and went for a scenic flight to Mount Aspiring. Afterwards we explored Queenstown. Our road trip continued via Wanaka with its famous tree towards Aoraki / Mount Cook where we hiked the Hooker Valley Track. The last days we spent in Christchurch and Auckland.

Thanks! We went 2nd half of Oct. The cherry blossoms bloom later in Queenstown. Christchurch may be late Sept.
