Instructions for SAB 2.0:
Start with 50-50-50 and play a few games with it. Based on the feedback of the game, and how your inputs feel, increase the values or lower them until you found the sweet spot. Lower values will reduce the SAB effect while higher ones will make your inputs appear closer to a controller. If you already use a device with analog movement (Wooting, Sony Nav, Logitech G13, ...) then you will most likely not need very high values. Attention: The XIM Company won't advertise values that will pass things such as the mousetrap. So for that either try it yourself, or ask other XIM users on the inofficial XIM Discord or Reddit board.

Hallelujah. Thanks for the firmware. Finally they solved my problem and that of so many people. I had been asking for this for so many years but only now have they decided to get their hands on it. This should have been done since the time of Xim 4.

@@XIMCentral hey I did it all and got to play with it for several hours. It definitely feels different, definitely messes with my muscle memory😅 but some tweaks and play time will fix it, I do notice some stutter here and there with running in mw2 though. It will just randomly stop my run animation to a walk. Only weird thing I have found, but it could also be due certain SAB values

The sensitivity feels much smoother all round but on holding angles it’s a bit shakier and feels slightly more delayed because it’s supposed to feel like a controller which it does I personally prefer it compared to the 1.0 XIM and the movement needs to be set on the ride percentage because it will feel really weird if it’s too high overall it’s great I use 3500 dpi and 63 percent for all that’s my sweet spot not sure if I will get mousetrapped though😅

@@landoganker6423 You just fail to understand how to use this firmware. Lots of other people have already reported that they got past the trap. If you cannot, then thats on you not on the firmware.
So. Using a azeron keyboard and I'm using 1600 dpi 1000hz sync default 15.26 for hip 15.26 for hip for the SAB 20 20 AND 10 NO studders or nothing

Oh absolutly! SAB 2.0 offers big improvements in lots of areas such as better aim assist or double movement. I can only recommend to try it in your favourite games! AA feels so much better with it!

Hey, im not sure about the exact changes between the two versions anymore, for that you would need to ask a dev in the XIM Forum. But the new SAB is significantly stronger, so you would need a lower value.

Me as a long time xim and Cronus user all I can say is that these adapters are undetectable for the most part and I would strongly suggest buying one or the other👍
Guys, you are wizards! The SAB 2.0 is awesome, it works perfectly and you can feel that it really mimics the movement of an analog stick. The aim assist is noticeably stronger too. I can't wait for the Matrix! This firmware update brought huge improvements, I can't even imagine what the Matrix will bring.

Thanks for the video! If there's a current config you have set up that you like, is the goal to just "add" SAB to it and tweak until you find a value that feels good? Or do you expect that when introducing SAB you'll need to go back and tweak the rest of the config as well?
Good question, i should have addressed that! SAB 2.0 is an add-on to any config and will not affect your existing config settings. So you must not tweak or normal settings once more when applying, or adjusting SAB 2.0 to a config!
@@XIMCentral thank you, that's super helpful. Do you have any advice for what you personally look for in the "feel" of adding SAB? Do you see how high you can push it without noticing a difference? Do you look for specific AA related results? Etc.
@@rock4ever812 In regard to AA a lot people usually complain about the aim assist bubble for example, which can be like an invisible barrier. So if that is something you experience, then use that as a metric to dial in your SAB value. Prior to that though i would recommend to start with 50 and work myself up first. While you do that move your mouse and character around. Once one of the two start to feel off, its time to reduce the value. You have found the upper threshold above which you probably shouldnt go. After that you can do AA tests. Try to find a value within your defined SAB range that gives you the results you are interested in.
Has xim seen the new beloader savior device for ps5 controller? Basically breaks through the PSN 3rd party block and allows xim to be used
Yes you can use that together with a XIM to play PS5 games.

@@2001-q5q I am not allowed to do that, sorry. If you want to test something it always makes the most sense to have an environment you can be sure is clean. So no account that is compromised or anything like that. You cannot trust your test results if your account was compromised from games you played earlier for example.

So been using the azeron keyboard classic with the new xim firmware for a week and no issues using sync on or default 1600 dpi mouse 1000 Hz xim 1000hz hip 360 around 10 centimeters ads 360 around 24 centimeters
Hey, i would recommend to greatly reduce your sensitivity. Playing with such a high sensitivity just limits your potential game performance. Most human require slow sensitivities to achieve high accuracies. Almost no PC pro player uses a sensitivity this high.

if you are on iOS either use the workaround i linked in the video description, or your a Mac with which you can drag and drop the IPA file through iTunes onto your iPhone.

SAB is to make keyboard movements appear more controller-like, right? What if you use half a controller, for movement, but aim with mouse? Is the aiming detectable? I assume that the mouse is not a switch and so the aiming thumbstick is never emulated with simple on and off, like keyboard buttons.

Its preference , but for your analog you would use a lower sab because its already controller like , and if you want your aim to be controller like then you would change sab on the aiming tab to your liking , just got to experiment with the xim .
If you use an analog device for movement then you basically dont need to use the Move SAB. You would otherwise let your XIM emulate an anlog device on top of using an analog device! You can obviously do that, but it wouldnt be very useful.
Cod mw2 i test it and its wonder my aim is 200% better and i play mw3 beta first and than with sab 2.0 i test it mw2 multiplayer haloween event and its beautiful thx xim team ❤

The one in the App Store is the current official one, whereas this feature requires the beta manager = newer.

@@doouble0seven Yes but that can take a few months. Usually several beta versions are accumulated before a new gold firmware is released, that will then get pushed into the App Store as well.
For the last value, the trigger one- would leaving it at 0 be the same as a hair trigger? Like you could program with an elite controller? Or would there still be a difference?
Yes a value of 0 is identical to how a hair trigger works.

@@XIMCentral the difference is SAB 1.0 off and sab 2.0 0 or off are not the same at all and no information on why they are different has been given , it feels less like a keyboard than it has ever before on the new SAB update,
From personal experience as a 5000+ hour master player in apex legends after I went to sab 2.0 I couldnt even win a 1v1 fight it kept throwing my aim away from the AA bubble
When I reverted back to old SAB I was back to 1v3 full stack master squads to me that's enough to know that it isn't a good change at least on the xim apex
I want xim to be a mouse and key adapter and feel as digital as possible and less controller like but with the new SAB it feels even further from a mouse and keyboard than before

Thanks for your good information. I know you are not allowed to any guidance but it's very simple question. When mousetrap got us, we see a warning on the right corner of the screen. Is it possible to get mousetrap without warning?
Based on community feedback there can be one game of minor delay with no trap icon which will be the decider if you get trapped in the next game or not. Basically a moment of the trap not being completely sure yet.

Outside of skirting detection tools, I really do not understand the selling point of 'will behave more like controller with ramp up speeds', especially with mouse input. Adding random input to ramp up mouse speed sounds terrible. Hell that's one reason they add acceleration but with Xim acceleration = bad. What am I missing here? Is preventing getting detected more important than actual input fidelity?
I think you should register in the XIM Forum to get a better understanding of what the community wants. 99% of all console games have aim assist, and in these you face plenty of issues when having very mouse-like inputs. SAB solves that and quickly became the most popular XIM Apex features over the last few years. SAB 2.0 gives the community even more adjustment knobs to fine tune the aim assist. I am also unsure what you mean with input fidelity, as long as you dont go too crazy on SAB you will not notice a difference.
@@XIMCentral I've been on the forums since Xim1. It was always marketed as the best aim solution due to it's 1:1 linear input with a mouse for a more pc like experience. Often to combat AA.
But adding random input and also "ramp time" moves away from the 1:1 experience.
It's as if the goal has changed from a more PC like experience to a more controller like experience which is odd to me as people were trying to move away from said controller due to its inaccuracy, acceleration, etc.
Plus how can you say with SAB you shouldn't notice a difference. Isn't the entire point to feel a difference? Otherwise it wouldn't have been introduced. Further I recall SAB being born simply as a means to avoid digital keyboard movement detection in Fortnite.
@@mcdonamw I am really not sure where you get the impression of that the goal has changed, that SAB removes the 1:1 feeling or that it introduces acceleration. Have you even tried the feature? It sounds a bit like you misinterpret what SAB 2.0 is doing.
@@XIMCentral I think you're misunderstanding what I'm asking. No, I have not tried it (yet). I'm merely trying to understand several claims.
With that said my understanding is as follows:
1) 1:1 meant unmodified input; output matches input (move mouse X, cursor moves X). Adding any additional input I'm not putting in myself breaks 1:1. Whether it still feels OK is beside the point.
2) SAB 1.0 introduced randomized input on the WASD stream to prevent anti-cheat mechanisms (e.g., Fortnite). Often caused unintended character movement. The only benefit I see here is said anti-cheat detection.
3) SAB 2.0 improves on 1.0 and now applies mouse and trigger streams also. Again to prevent anti-cheat (e.g., mouse trap). Again, a benefit I see. However there are complaints of floaty mouse. As such, how is aim better or improved as claimed? Is it due to point #5 and only #5 or is there more?
4) You claim SAB adds additional *fairness* by preventing mouse from doing things stick can't do (i.e., go from 0 to max deflection almost instantly), to which SAB adds *ramp-up time*. Doesn't ramp-up time essentially mean, *adds delay to our input*? How is that beneficial?
5) You claim SAB provides *more AA*. I can see the benefit, however PC players already complain that XIM+Controller is unfair. Doesn't this make it more unfair, conflicting with point #4?

@@yen1man I play with a Wooting Analog and found success by using a little bit of Move SAB in games with Aim Assist (such as OW2).
No offense, but this sounds like a step down in functionality.
Why? Would you prefer to have only one SAB value that handles everything?
@@XIMCentral Mimicking a controller is a step down from MnK. Aim Assist is a cancer. Ramp-up is degraded performance.
@@SunshineLoLypops Seeing the responses in the comments with people having tremendous success with AA and other things i feel like the general sentiment is quite different. This is an optional feature after all, that by default is not even active when creating a new config.

Experiencing stick drift with it. Character moves by itself for MW2
Yea honestly this Feature is trash, tested it for hours now but all i can say is that it increases the Problem with the aim assisst bubble, the whole mouse movement feels slow, delayed and spongy and so on
I think this Feature is not ment to be used by decent players. Looks like a "mouse beginners" Tool to get used to mnk or sum
It seems like that is caused by the controller. The people who have reported this so far managed to solve this by slightly touching their controllers movement stick. Can you let me know if that solves it for you?
@@XIMCentral it’s not the controller at all. When I put movement on 0, the stick drift stopped. I did aim-20 movement-0 trigger-20. Having 0 on movement fixes the problem. SAB is overall trash though, I don’t see y people would want to use it. All it does is cause delay. Y would u want to simulate a controller anyway when u have a keyboard and mouse lol. If people want to simulate a controller that bad then just switch back to controller or use the xim nexus.
@@vurmise The advantage is that aim assist is programmed for controller sticks, not for mice. This is why mice have so little aim assist on consoles. By using SAB you can benefit from both worlds, having more controller aim assist while also using a mouse.

You must update both your XIM Firmware and XIM Manager. On Android you download the APK from the XIM Forum link in the video description. And for iOS you follow the additional instructions linked in the video description as well. Or if you have a Mac then drag and drop the file through iTunes onto your iOS device.

I'm new to XIM APEX and MnK and i have a problem that when i lift the mouse up to recenter it on the mousepad the aim moves too, My mouse G502.
Hey, this is an issue with your mouse. You must adjust its so called "Lift Off Distance" or sometimes called "LoD". If the value is very high, your mouse will continue to track the mousepad even if you lift it. And that makes your crosshair move when repositioning your mouse. Make sure to save your mouse changes onto the mouse memory or else they wont carry over to the XIM.
@@XIMCentral I don't really know how to change it with G502, But These settings of LOD should be appropriate with the mouse right? Or people need to change it with every mouse?
@@kaj7em960 Some mice have higher LoD values by default than others. I would recommend to change it. Make sure to activate the onboard memory mode of your G502 so that your changes carry over to the XIM. Lower LoD values will stop your issue.

Hey, both must be updated, the XIM Firmware (via PC or Mac) and the XIM Manager. Both can be found under the link in the video description. If you are on Android download the APK from the link in the video description. You cannot use the App Store XIM Manager. On iOS follow the additional steps from the video description.

You could benefit from Aim SAB and Trigger SAB. But Move SAB would obviously be a bit usesless for you as you already have an analog stick for moving! :)

@@cri_zekx8076 Im not sure about XIM Apex since its hardware isnt as capable as Matrix. So the SAB algorithm is a lot less complex and powerful. I personally havent tried Siege with XIM Apex since around a year now anymore.
I was able to download the manager on an android and the sensitivity feels great I’m just not sure what sab values to use. Right now I’m using 50 for all but I don’t know how low I can go with them until activating mouse trap. I’m also using privacy settings and I don’t know if that prevents MT from detecting xim. Also would setting sab on the triggers to 0 make xim more detectable or does it only apply to aiming and movement? I’m on xim apex.

I highly doubt that, at least for XIM Matrix. Older XIMs dont have the required hardware power to run more advanced algorithms, so for them its maybe over in such games.

This is because some people have played years on 1.2 and got so used to how it feels that they cannot play with anything else anymore. From a objective point of view 1.3 gives closer PC mouse movements.

just a request i’m sure others agree is there any way the amount config profiles can be increased? it isn’t enough to cover all of the r6 operators
XIM Apex sadly doesnt have any leftover memory for that. In favour of more configs there would need to be a reduction in features. You could use the flashtool backup feature to offload configs onto your PC that you dont need right now. Same can be done with the copy and paste code, or manually writing up the config values.

the 2 option recoil controll on apex just miss with aim and horizontal recoil .
XIM Apex doesnt have enough compute power to handle something like that, so this cannot be added :(.
@@jimmyjr1085 Hey, the reason the OW1 config gave you so good results in BF1 is because your OW1 config does basically do something similar than the SAB 2.0 feature. It chances how your mouse movements are translated, and by pure luck they appear to be closer to those of an actual controller with that config. So your aim assist results (or recoil) is much better. And nice to see you testing so much stuff, we need more people like you in the community! :)
I don't play R6 seige, but I'm hearing that their mousetrap system is very flawed. I've seen several reports that players using default ps5 controllers and Xbox elite controllers using alternate curves in the Xbox app are getting flagged as using a "spoofing" device.
Yes that is the inevitable outcome when trying to detect devices based on input patterns. You can never achieve a decent detection accuracy with such an approach, it will always detect players that you did not intend to detect.

That means the mousetrap is suspicious of you but isnt 100% sure yet. Probably a sign to increase your setup values.

@@jidanmiah6495 Are you sure your account was on a clean start and not flagged from previous games? Maybe read up how the mousetrap detects you before starting your tests, otherwise you will not know what to look out for or how to actually do meaningful tests.
I already updated the firmware on my device but when opening the manager it doesn’t let me see the the SAB settings 😢

I did update the xim apex and the manager and followed the instructions carefully but the SAB is totaly gone and I have to new settings for "Aim" "Move" and "Trigger". I am also in Expert configuration mode but the SAB option is totaly gone. What have I done wrong?? 😔
Hey, thats normal. SAB is now split into Aim, Move and Trigger. So you can apply it to any of these 3 independently!

@@ski0529 You need to update both your XIM and XIM Manager to the new beta to have these features. And yes you need to download the Android manager from the XIM Forum, the one in the App Store is older and doesnt have these features.
Does the dpi of the mouse correlate to the %s. I mean if the dpi is higher, will we need higher percentages to counteract the high dpi sensitivity which i imagine is more detectable for the mouse trap
XIM Sensitivity and mouse DPI are indirect proportional. So if you double your DPI, you must divide your XIM Sensitivity by 2 to still have the same speed as before. You can use one of the many DPI Calculator websites if you dont want to manually compute the new sensitivity.

Hi, I did all the processes, I installed the app but it doesn't connect with the Xim Apex, it doesn't find it, even removing it from the console and inserting it with the button I need, can you give me more data? observation I already released everything on the iPhone
Hey, please press the button on your XIM while the Manager is trying to find your XIM. Only that way they can establish a new connection. Your XIM will otherwise search for the old Manager.

I removed the Xim Apex from the console, and inserted it with the button pressed, so it had the blue light, however, when opening the new app it keeps searching but never finds it, what should I do, uninstall the old manager and try again?

Hey, any aim assist game can benefit from SAB 2.0. Based on the viewer reports i would not use too much SAB in OW2 though. Try something around 0-20! :)

@@mustafa_ahmedDx Yes the code has changed. Since the new update uses SAB 2.0, it expects a code that also contains SAB 2.0 elements in the code. When you update your firmware all your configs will remain untouched though, so they should still all be there.

Are we ever going to get new builds through TestFlight going forward? I can’t speak for others but that’s been the most convenient hassle free solution to updating my xim manager.(as I have a mac, and an iPhone I was thinking of sideloading but I don’t have the specifics on it)
If you have a Mac it should be sufficient to just drag and drop the IPA file through iTunes onto your iPhone.
@@XIMCentral I encountered an issue with it not connecting by Bluetooth, I was getting error “Failure writing XIM APEX [6]”. Got that same error using Mac (and windows 11) despite my Mac having Bluetooth support. It’s worth noting I successfully updated the manager (android) and got the Bluetooth connected to the xim using a friends phone. I’m also on latest firmware version.

Its very hard to compete with high rank like Irideson or Crimson Rankplay player on controller. Sometime aim doesnt tarck that correctly on Xim due to aim assist bubbling. I have not tested these new beta version. Does this new SAB minmize AimAssist bubbling and improve tracking?
Yes it will reduce the aim assist bubble barrier around enemies.

In the video description you can find the correct one. Its from 2023. Your firmware says its from 2020 so its older. This error will only be displayed if you try to install a firmware that is older than your current firmware.
hey guys, yesterday i tried 75 75 75 for SAB. i played 8 quick matches + 2 team death matches in a row.
and finally i got detected in a custom game :))) it is weird to be detected in custom game. anyway, in 10 matches, i think it was okey, no lag, but aiming or feel is not like my own settings but no matter i played it.
my question is why it takes 10 matches to catch me with xim?

I think no, the Xim ist not detectebal, the mousetrap only detect your movements, not ur xim. Cronus maybe detectebal, bc u use scripts

You can create a new one or use your existing config. Both is fine and will work! :)
Start with Aim 50, Move 50 and Trigger 50. Then play a few games and see how it goes. If you notice anything bad, either increase the values or reduce them. It make take a few games to find your most optimal values. Since every playstyle is different i would recommend to not copy the SAB settings of other players.
