SOUNDS GREAT :) ... From what I've read these came in Traylor guitar cabs and just scored a pair from Ebay ..Nice they will sound great and realistic for Stereo also
I did the JE LABS open baffle eventually and was lucky to get a set of mono 300b's push pull , mounted the AD12100's from the front and it is absolutely awesome.
Hi. What enclosures are they using , I am looking for a good enclosure deign to mount mine. Are those closed boxes or back loaded horns or tapered quarter wave or open baffles perhaps ? Tx in advance
Oops , wanted to say I will try hunt down a pair of goodmans axiom 80 or the AD12202's now...Have sold all my branded equipment since as I am now very happy with this , just need to get all my stuff serviced , fixed and done more professionally...
Trust your ears dude...they sound fantastic for being over 40 years old. You can´t compare these with contemporary branded 3 or 4-way HiFi speakers. With good insulated room and seriously constructed baffles is the result much better. Believe me, have done that with my 12100/M4. Maybe you´ve already changed your opinion during the past 5 years ;)
