Wow! It’s not often I watch a video and can’t get into my scrapbook room fast enough because I am so inspired. This is truly both beautiful and unique.
beautiful and inspiring! Thanks for sharing your story too. I also have been stuck in those loops you mention and you do get to feeling like nothing is getting done. This video was encouraging to me. I appreciated your honesty.
I love your brilliant idea of filling in that dead space on the photo of your daughter as it really finishes the photo off!! You may have sold me on buying that stamp & thin cut set also!!
Your layout is so pretty and it gives me an idea for scrapping an old single photo of my Grandmother but with the folded part at the bottom of the page. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.😊
Gorgeous photos and I love this winter paper that you chose - perfect!!! Always love watching and listening to your choices when it comes to product and placements. I had to look up what Saskatoon Berries were - never heard of them before.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! It’s funny how this strange blend of products were just the right things for my page. I think Saskatoons only grow in the prairies. We used to pick them every summer when I was a kid.
😂 Saskatoon is a city but it’s also a type of berry. Sort of like blueberries, but more firm and tart. I like mixing them with blueberries and putting them in crisps and pies. 😋
I show how to add text to a photo in Canva in this video th-cam.com/video/iaSGWp8CG88/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MIjpNojOItLbZKEe The only difference is that I searched in Canva for a white fade to put over the side of my photo first so that the text would show up. I hope this helps!
We picked Saskatoons. They are kinda similar to a blueberry but they are more tart and firmer. They grow wild here in some places. We used to go berry picking in the ditch by my house when I was a kid.

Thanks my friend ❤️ I look forward to seeing your version of this. I think it could make an awesome two page layout with a ton of photos!
What a cleaver and unique idea. So pretty.
Nicely done! The journalling on the photo and the way that same photo peeks from under the folds are my favourite parts. 😊
Thank you 😊 I couldn’t find a good spot for my journaling so I’m glad that photo had some empty space for my journaling!
The flapped corners idea is brilliant! I think I’ll give it a try but think I’ll try tearing the paper rather than cut.
Tearing paper is a great way to add a more organic feel to your layout!
I just love this layout. I might need to scraplift this one. 😊
Love how the winter meadows made such a beautiful backdrop for you summer memories! Gorgeous page, thank you!
I wouldn’t have thought to look at a winter pack at first, but it ended up being the perfect thing!

I’m so happy I could encourage you!

Thank you 😊 It is a really good stamp and die set, so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
OMG! This is so stunning! Love it all! When you pulled up the photo I thought why? But adding the journaling was genius!❤❤❤
I just couldn’t find another spot where the journaling didn’t take away from the design! 😂
Loved seeing your transformation of a card to scrapbook layout. Just lovely!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! There is inspiration everywhere and it's a fun way to come up with new ideas.
Oh my gosh! This is the cutest layout! I love the design, the pictures and the colors!
Thank you 😊
I really like this page and especially like your tip to use the scrap photos to fill in under the fold.
I’m glad I went with the scrap photos. It helps the design continue plus they would’ve ended up in the trash if I didn’t use them! 😂
Love this layout, and the inspiration to use paper differently. Thanks so much for sharing.

Still layout! Love this technique
That journaling on your photo was genius and looks really good! I'll definitely be trying that. Thanks!
I couldn’t find any other spot for my journaling that didn’t throw off the balance on my design, so I’m the photo was the perfect spot!
Love your layout, so pretty

It's just so good! I'm wishing I would've frozen some of those saskatoons!

Great video!!!
Oh my - this is me all the time!!
I absolutely love this idea! I love the “revealing” by folding back the page. What is a saskatoon? I just thought it was a city! 😅

I loved this layout and love your journalling in your photo , do you have a tutorial on doing this in canva please 😊❤️

What was it you and your daughter picked? I haven’t heard that word before.
We picked Saskatoons. They are kinda similar to a blueberry but they are more tart and firmer. They grow wild here in some places. We used to go berry picking in the ditch by my house when I was a kid.
@@ChelseyVorosmarty thanks for explaining that
