Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us. I LOVE your style and always learn so much when I watch your videos. From balance to paper selection. You take great pictures as well. ❤
I love being reminded of how you "string" your banners with the adhesive dots. That seems so much easier than fiddling with bakers twine or floss, and looks so much neater too. I've seen you do this before but the first layout reminded me again. I'm going to do this on my next banner! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful layouts and tips!
Erin your layouts are amazing! You are by far my favorite TH-cam channel. I have used so many of your designs as a jumping off point for my own. Thanks for being so creative ❤😊
Thank you so much Sharon, that is a very nice compliment and I am thrilled you have been able to use the ideas to get your own memories documented and into albums.
Wow the stamped embellishments look so darn cute and look like printed elements. You are so creative, and it turned out perfect. my stamping does not compare. You are Just perfection
I love seeing these layout share videos as I have watched a lot of the process videos and it inspires me more when I see them again. Your pages all look amazing as always. I think my favourite if I had to pick would be the large circle background layout as it's so pretty. I love the papers and colours. I often find the placement of circles on my pages to be more difficult as I tend to overthink my design and keep changing it. Thanks for sharing. as I love your creativity!😊 We are in the middle of spring here in New Zealand so looking forward to some lovely summer weather around Christmas,! Off to scrapbook some pages this afternoon hopefully. !!
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoy the designs. The circle layout was inspired by Dorothy over at Scrapbooking Quebec. It was a nice to change things up and use the circles for the background. Enjoy that lovely spring weather. I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of Fall, it is still so hot here in California.
Hello Erin, I love looking at others completed pages. Im new here-Im curious if you would share some of your early years completed pages-just to see how your creative style has evolved. Scrapbooking has for sure only gotten better!
Oh Erin! I love your layouts and so appreciate you sharing with us! I love your style and hope to copy lots of these since I have so many of these products in my stash. ♥️♥️♥️
Love seeing all of these again! You are definitely going to need a separate album for our trip…just go look at the butchart gardens pics again. 😂😂😂 Or, take this as a challenge to get them all into your main album 😂 i wish I had more Everyday Life albums that are thinner…that’s what I’d love to use for it.
Great video with so much inspiration. It was great to see all the layouts together after watching you create so many of them. So much learning on those pages.
You are totally correct about documenting everyday life. I've learned there are a variety of ways to do it, though. I for example, I might reference something like the hot sauce obsession' in a month in review layout. Or take pics from different times to document a favorite place, rather than a separate layout every time we went there. I don't have kids of my own, and we were discussing that multiple albums can be overwhelming, and I've found a month in review double page layout with 6 or so pics and decent journaling is as effective as scrapbooking those photos separately. hope that makes sense! Would
I love the idea of a month in review. I used to create project life pocket style albums where there is a photo a day but I had a hard time keeping up. They are some of my favorite albums though because it truly is a photo journal of our everyday lives.
Thank you, I was pretty excited over the mountain biking layout especially when my son shared it with his friends. Pure mom joy! I am glad you enjoyed it too.
I am so excited about the two toned card stock from Stampin Up. I love their other card stock but I like being able to buy in a bigger quantity of one color. Also am hoping the two toned will be better in my cricut machine. I loved the new scrapbooking kits. Thanks for the video it was very inspiring.
I am also glad to have both the two toned as well as the solid. I think there is a time and place for both varieties. I have noticed the solid cardstock seems a bit more fibrous and probably why the Cricut doesn't like it.
I bought a D ring when I first joined & it hasn't held up at all considering it just sits on the shelf with patterned papers from the early days after we joined CTMH back around 2011 thereabouts. I have noticed that the rings move out of alignment with each other & often with just the weight of the paper & all the plastic sleeves I have stored in it that were given to me the rings snap open when I pick it up. So I have continued with my CM albums which are posts and never given me an ounce of trouble in the nearly 20 years since I was first introduced to scrapbooking. I also prefer the CM albums because they present them better with lovely individual colours & often with a nice theme on them, I like having a different colour for each album.
Good to know. I haven't tried a CM album since they were slightly smaller than 12x12 and were the strap style. I agree about the D-rings and that's why I feel they do not have the longevity of a post bound.
Thank you for your opinions on the different albums. I am just starting with scrapbooking, and going to buy albums. I was wondering about the difference between D-ring and post-bound.
You are welcome. Many of my crafty friends use D-rings for the convenience of adding layouts but I feel they are less likely to stand the test of time.
Enjoyed seeing this walk through, Erin. Such beautiful pages. I'm strggling with albums. I'm doing a few different things, using D ring for some, but want to find some to use with thevpage protectors and pocket pages etc that I bought from Close To My Heart there at the end. Do you think SU will consider sizing for their new albims to fit those? Thanks for sharing!
Loving your layouts! Just this past weekend I was scrapping at a crop and flipped through you FB page and used a few of your layouts as “sketch” inspiration. Thank you! My question is what company makes your post bound album? I only use post bound and they are getting harder to find, especially quality albums. Thanks for your help!
Thank you! Pocket cards are either 3x4 or 4x6 designed cards with either titles, embellishments or journaling spots used with divided page protectors. If you do a quick search on TH-cam for pocket scrapbooking you can see examples of how pocket cards are used. 😃
Hello, I print my photos at home using the Epson Picture Mate 400 printer and I love it. It is this one here on Amazon amzn.to/4by5hYk. To print my photos I use an app called print to size, the app is iPhone compatible only but the printer will work with anything (Epson also has their own photo printing app.) Here is a video you may find helpful walking you through the process on how I print my photos. th-cam.com/video/unDuVv0lxKA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JIjW-0_zXmPaQ95i
Hello Erin, Stunning layouts and fab designs ! I notice a white border around all of your photos. Do you have them printed like that? How do you print them? Or do you mount everything on white cardstock? Thank you
Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed the layout ideas. I print my photos at home using the Epson Picture Mate 400 printer and I love it. It is this one here on Amazon amzn.to/4by5hYk. Great share! Two questions: 1. Is the Avery clear sticker paper matte or shiny? 2. How did you get even borders on the collage you made in the print to size app?
Thank you! The Avery clear sticker paper I use is matte. The Print to size app can be a little tricky to get perfect borders. I use it so often I have it down just by eyeballing it but every once in awhile it prints slightly off. There are other apps that use templates which will give you perfect placing but you are limited to their template size. I like Print to size because you can literally make it any size you want.
Thank you, that is very kind of you to say. The spine expanders are from Close To My Heart who has since closed but Stampin' Up! acquired them from CTMH and is offering them while supplies last. www.stampinup.com/products/spine-expanders?demoid=2297233
Erin Question: I’m going to purchase a Cruicut machine. Which one do you recommend? I’m just getting back into scrapbooking and I need to able to cut titles. I love your layouts. Great inspiration. You are amazing and very talented! Thanks for sharing!! ❤
Hi Cori, I have a Cricut explore air 2 and it does everything I need it to do. I know there is an explore air 3 option now available. The Maker would be the next step up after that. There are several TH-cam videos out there comparing the different models and you may find the extra insight to be helpful before making your purchase. Under search type in Cricut explore verses Maker and they will all pop up.
Hello, Stampin' Up is currently carrying the Close to My Heart brand I use and they are on sale! www.stampinup.com/products/spine-expanders?demoid=2297233
Hello, I am not sure exactly what you are asking. Are you wanting to store the layout ideas where I have used the sketch in the same PDF book with the sketches?
Thank you for purchasing the sketchbooks, you are going to love them! I had mine bound at Staples. You place the order online and can either have it shipped or same day pick up. It is a bit pricey to have the books bound so I am now purchasing these for my more recent sketchbook volumes. The coil system of the professional binding is very nice but for the price this is a great option as well amzn.to/3ZK5gxl
Great layout! I am interested in the CDT Sketchbooks. Where did you get yours bound? I love the convenience of that kind of binding, but not sure there is any place near me that I can get that done. Thanks!

@@CraftyConceptswithErin I used one of those a while back for the handouts from a Copic class I took. They are nice, but I really do enjoy the ability to completely fold over the pages. I think I'll consider this option, however, since the binding is so expensive. Thank you!
LOL, no I definitely am not a fan of taking those albums apart. I often will store them in a flat pizza sized box by year and then when I have enough layouts done I will go add them to the album.
Hi Suzie, I wait until I have several albums to label and then create the dates in Cricut Design Space. I cut them out from Heat Transfer Vinyl and use a heat press to adhere them to the album spines.
Hi Erin. Thank you so much for sharing your layouts with us! I so enjoy watching your videos 😊. I just wanted to let you know that Michael’s carries post expanders in several sizes. I use them and they work great!
"Girls Album" I love that and think I will copy that . I never know which scrapbook to add my pages with my scrapbooking friends.

That is a good solution. Make it smaller so it is not such a big focal point 😃
