Thank you so much Helen☺️ I love to going back to the older techniques. There’s so many fabulous things I did in the past before I got the access to all fancy tools. It It is so nice from time to time to travel back to these days where I had to be way more creative without all that specialty gear, so I do appreciate much learning about “old school” techniques. Thank you so much for watching. I’m sending you hugs and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Thank you so much, Linda. That’s great. You should definitely give it a try. Let me know how you get on once you finish your beautiful cards. have a lovely day my friend ❤️
Videos such as these grease the wheels of my brain to the point of being hazardous to my marital state!! That said, I wonder if a variation of this technique couldn't also entail using a stencil, or a full coverage die, (and removed before applying heat) to perhaps incorporate a bit more defined design in the results?? 🤔 I'm thinking "galaxies for a card for an astronomy buff"? Maybe in another lifetime ... this project looks like one more missed supper! But OH WHAT GRAND RESULTS!!
What a fabulous idea I love when all of us crafters can share our thoughts and point to new things and techniques. This is definitely a good idea to try and I am adding it to my bucket list. Let me know if you tried this already and how you get on with it. I’m sending you big hugs and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
What an excellent idea thank you so much for the tip. I will give it a try although I’m scared that the tissue paper can burn easily but I will definitely give it a go. Thank you once again. I’m sending you hugs and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
It looks like a great way to use up our embossing powders. But I wonder if the embossing powder when heated is reacting to the ink below because it shrinks up. I’ll definitely have to play with this today. Thanks.😊
Thank you so much. I’m so happy you enjoy it once the powder is rem melting is rising up a little bit so that’s why it looks like it’s shrinking. Wishing you a wonderful day ❤️
Hi Nancy, thank you so much for watching my video. I’m so happy you like it. Yes this technique is fabulous especially if you’ve got an old stash of the embossing powders that never get used. I create couple of the ironed pieces and store them in additional box ready to use when I need them I can then just placed them on the card and slightly melted with my heat gun tool without the need of reaching for iron every time I would like to create more, I’m sending you hugs and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Thank you so much Tina for all your kind words and welcome on my channel. I’m super happy to hear that you enjoy my videos. Thank you for watching and wishing you a fabulous day. ❤️
Hi Sue and welcome on my channel thank you so much for watching my videos. I am so happy to hear that you enjoy them. I am sending you greetings from Poland and wishing you a wonderful day. ❤️
Such a great idea and makes the colours pop. love the bubble pop of the embossing powders when setting them to the paper. so clever. Thanks Marta. Kristy - Brisbane, Australia.
Thank you for sharing your technique. Never knew you could do this with embossing powder. Have lots of it from years ago to use. You are so creative. I’m in Marshall, Virginia.
Thank you so much, Veronica. I am looking forward to Sunday. Thank you so much for watching my videos. I am sending you hugs and we’ll chat on Sunday.❤️❤️❤️😘
Hi Marta.. I saw Marion Emberson's video, but I love the way you have used the technique. Your live tutorial is 7:00 a.m. Monday morning for me, so I can watch 😊. Blessings Maxine
Thank you so much Maxine. I’m so happy you like it. I am looking forward to having a chat with everyone on a Sunday. Take care and I wish you a fabulous day my friend ❤️
Hi June for this technique you don’t really need an embossing machine. All you need is your powders baking paper and some sort of heat to melt like iron. Thank you so much for watching my videos. I’m watching your lovely day ❤️
I use to so embossing but found it always looses greedy as heck..found out it was because I heated it way too long. I'm thinking of giving it another try with Tim holtz translucent ones..now I want the other kind too..
Thank you so much, my friend and yes this is happening too many crafters embossing taking a little bit of the practice. I was also the one who was constantly overheating and burning my embossing especially with the white one and then I was wondering why is it not looking as good as on the crafters tutorial. I eventually learned that I was overheating my embossing and that’s why it was turning yellowish. Thank you once again for watching my videos. I’m sending you hugs and I wish you fabulous day ❤️
Hej Marta.
Ta metoda będzie super na ATC i różne mixed mediowe wykończenia, właśnie obmyślam kolejne wersje 😄 pozdrawiam serdecznie i życzę ci dobrego dzionka 😘
Hello Marta - super idea ! I'm watching from Germany - and I'm looking for years for such an ebossing Folder with type writing ! Where do you get yours ? I will be very thankful for your help 🤗🙋♀️♥️
Thank you so much, my friend. This scripted embossing folder is from company called Tattered lace, it is so old that I believe that unfortunately it is now retired. But I’ll keep that in mind and if I come across another scripted embossing folder I will give you a shout or I made it in the video sending hugs and wishing you a lovely day ❤️
Thank you so much, Sarah. I’m so happy that you enjoying it. Have a wonderful day and let me know how you try it. I’m pretty much sure you will enjoy it too❤️
Hi! Your video just popped up for me. I've worked with embossing powders, but just in the more traditional (1 color at a time) way. This technique is amazing! You have a new follower 😊. I'm in North Dakota-USA
Hi Kaylynn thank you so much for watching my video. I am so happy that you enjoyed them and welcome on my channel. If there is anything you will ever want to ask. Just write the question under one of my videos. I’ll be happy to help. I’m sending you hugs and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Hello Marta. I'm a newbie but have wanted to get into cardmaking for quite some time. I've subscribed because I enjoyed your teaching techniques. Btw... I'm Denise from northeastern North Carolina. I look forward to your upcoming tutorials. Thanks. 🥰
Hi Denise, lovely to meet you my friend. I’m so happy enjoy my videos. If you’d like. I will be having life classes this coming Sunday you’re more than welcome to join. Thank you so much, Moira. I’m super happy like it. I will be posting the finishing cards video shortly thank you so much for watching. I wish you a fabulous day my friend ❤️
You could always glue or tape the melted powders down onto the card. OR. put the card with the melted powders on top of the card, inside the parchment paper, and iron it again. Then it wouldn't get those melted holes in it, that look so strange.
Thank you so much for letting me know I’m afraid if I will place the card between the parchment paper and iron it again the part of the embossing would stick to the parchment paper besides I like those little holes. It’s kind of distressed look which I was going after, thank you so much for watching my videos. I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Really cool technique. Marion Emberson did hers with a little cooker like a George Foreman machine. As much as I love Marion, this technique seems much easier and gives more control. Love the cards. Oh, I forgot to say I’m watching from West Virginia, USA.
Oh, ya ... I'd forgotten about Marion Emberson's vid! I also watched someone else doing a similar "thing"(?) with an electric waffle maker, wherein the waffle inserts could be removed. Can't remember what technique that was covering, though, as I don't own such a griddle.
Hi Carol, this is the baking paper. You will need some sort of the heat resistant layer to keep the embossing protected from attaching to your iron. Thank you so much for watching. I’m wishing you a fabulous day.❤️
Hi my friend the ink actually doesn’t go through the plastic. I first smeared on the plastic sprayed with water and then turn it upside down. I just like to put the paper underneath so I can see the size of the background and know exactly where do I need to add inks. Hope this helps. thank you for watching my videos and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Marta these are so lovely! I remember when Marian did video. Did I make them then, no. Will I make them now. Yes! I want to do my Christmas cards using red and gold and green, wouldn’t that be gorgeous?! Thank you so much for the re-introduction! Waiting with bated breath for tomorrow’s (video! Regards, Donna. P. S. I am in South Louisiana,USA. I’ve been a follower for a long, long time, actually, I think I became a follower when you were in Poland. I love blah blah of your flowers! all the materials used are too expensive just to try out /1 I don't have a heating too ,just two colors of embossing powder ,..dont use much ,but when I do used to out it in the ore heated oven to melt !!
Thank you so much Ranja for watching my videos. I agree with you my friend, some crafty supplies are expensive and I also had a very limited access to them for a long time. I’ve been incredibly blessed in my life by receiving lots of my supplies through collaborations and design team work. I am trying to share various type of tutorials, some of them include more supplies but I also have the videos where I play with basic things, so hopefully all my friends will find something for themselves. I’ve been also sharing free printable designs and trying to make it as much accessible as I can. Thank you again and wishing you a wonderful day ❤️❤️😘

Thank you so much, Cindy. I’m so happy you like it. Have a wonderful day my friend ❤️
Oh, ya ... I'd forgotten about Marion Emberson's vid! I also watched someone else doing a similar "thing"(?) with an electric waffle maker, wherein the waffle inserts could be removed. Can't remember what technique that was covering, though, as I don't own such a griddle.
Question: what kind of paper is the first large sheet of brown paper?
Hi Carol, this is the baking paper. You will need some sort of the heat resistant layer to keep the embossing protected from attaching to your iron. Thank you so much for watching. I’m wishing you a fabulous day.❤️
Tasmania. Thankyou
Oh wow thank you so much for watching my videos is incredible to meet crafty friends from all over the world. I’m sending you greetings from Poland ❤️
Beautiful! ❤ I’m watching from Arkansas in USA.
Thank you so much ❤️
How did the ink go thru the plastic to the cardstock?
Hi my friend the ink actually doesn’t go through the plastic. I first smeared on the plastic sprayed with water and then turn it upside down. I just like to put the paper underneath so I can see the size of the background and know exactly where do I need to add inks. Hope this helps. thank you for watching my videos and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
Well now, isn't that cool! ❤
Thank you so much, my friend. Have a great day ❤️

It is pronounced. i ern. NOT i ron. Just a little English pronunciation touch up. great video.
Thank you ☺️
Nonsense. Either pronunciation is perfectly acceptable! 😂
What the actual heck…did policing her pronunciation of the word iron make you feel good about yourself?
all the materials used are too expensive just to try out /1 I don't have a heating too ,just two colors of embossing powder ,..dont use much ,but when I do used to out it in the ore heated oven to melt !!
