What a beautiful voice and such a lovely lady.I do not think we will see the likes of Nancy again with some of the awful singers today.RIP Sweet Nancy.
I am eternally grateful to an aunt who made me aware of Nancy's music. I have all of her recordings and consider her among the vocal greats of the 20th century -- right up there with the likes of Sinatra, Clooney, Fitzgerald and Garland.
I only recently discovered Nancy LaMott, and I instantly fell in love with her singing. Listening to her songs gives me a lot of joy and pleasure. May she rest in peace knowing that she continues to entertain new fans.
I had the great fortune to see her sing at Carnegie Hall. She sang "I Have Dreamed" and was wonderful. She was a great talent, taken from us way too soon.
It doesn't get much better than Nancy LaMott - young singers getting into the business should watch these clips and listen to every recording of hers - like a masterclass in the art of song interpretation.
It's a sad thing she is no longer with us. I love her old fashioned style, and sweet presence and simplicity. It's a beautiful song and someoe else ought to make a cover of it; granted it won't be the same. But we can revive the truly good stuff.
Good stuff. I have all of her cd's. I think my favorite song of her's was David Friedman's "We Live On Borrowed Time." Unfortunately she did. R.I.P. Nancy.

A beautiful song. A unique and exquisite soul. RIP, Nancy.
What a beautiful soul and truly one of the greatest singers of the 20th century.
The first time I heard Nancy'd voice, I cried.

A gift from the Gods. Bless you, Nancy.
Beautiful rendition of a lovely song. Nancy treats each note so delicately.
