Bit of criticism, this video script feels like a student reaching for the essay word requirement. It sounds weird for each point to say that it "adds british flavour to fallout" or "enhances the setting". It sounded strange in my head and honestly made parts drag to hear the same sentiment over and over

Folon is better than Fallout 4. The difficulty, writing, silent protagonists and atmosphere (fallout should not have blue skies like fallout 4) are all superior. Getting a settlement is a challenge and feels like an actual accomplishment
Fun fact: you can't progress quests because NPC's keep repeating themselves.
i mean it is a mod that basically completely overhauls the game. its gonna have a few bugs. its why im waiting a week or two so those get ironed out.

Loved the Dev's attention to detail. Also, another random fact involving Fesco is the horse meat boxes you find made by Fesco is a reference to the 2013 horse meat scandal in the UK. Basically Tesco was found selling horse meat without telling customers

Great video, one small addition to the protect and survive references is the music that is played in game which is a slightly adapted version of the music in the protect and survive videos. Also if you listen to the extended version of two tribes by Frankie goes to Hollywood you can hear lines that were not included in the videos but were originally scripted for them read out by the original voice actor for protect and survive. Dominic Sandbrook (historian) has a fantastic series about the Cold War on the BBC that covers this.

Arabic words are joined not just singular letters like that please do the research.. Not only that this ruins immersions it also exposes that your keyboard has no arabic language in it or you used AI or google translate. Here is an example of how it's seen by anyone who speaks Arabic in English language " H E Y T H I S I S A S I G N " instead of "Hey This Is a Sign"

the dev team did an incredible job! I had no idea how in depth and how much attention to detain, they had been working to achieve back when I first heard about this project. And for the team to release it to the public at no charge is completely unheard of in an era of even small projects costing a few caps/tickets! lol much love to the devs for all their hard work❤❤❤❤

I believe theres a easter egg reference to British comedy show Dad's Army, in Greenwich foot tunnel. You find a holotape by one Air Raid Warden Hodges which is the same name and occupation of one of the recurring jerk characters on that show
So far I've been enjoying this mod. The added emphasis on an actual RPG elements combined with certain quests that require less, "shoot first, ask questions later," is a breath of fresh air considering Bethesda's low brow approach on actual RPG's lately. We have something to tide us over until Fallout 5 becomes less vaper ware and more reality, but I'm not holding my breath. I would go so far as to say Fallout London IS Fallout 5 and even consider it canonical. Bethesda could learn a lot from listening to the FOLON team on how to make an ACTUAL RPG and not, "Borderlands: Wasteland Edition."
Just wish the Thames wasn't so finicky. Fast traveling there makes me have a micro aggression occasionally.🤣

Unfortunately Tesco is not only based in the UK, Quinnsworth which was the Irish equivalent sold out to Tesco in the 1997 which hasn't been helpful to our economy as so many Irish products have been replaced by british ones.
For people struggling with installation make sure you install the mod Buffout4 but manually install it to fallout 4 NOT London install location, I can't say if this affects anything but I read it from another player so I will recommend running the game as administrator through script extender launcher but through fallout 4 location as trying this method with Fallout London install location it cant find the fallout.exe file, with Buffout4 installed correctly you can play the game without crashes at least from my experience as before I did this Fallout London was constantly crashing and since I've done this I haven't personally had a crash, hopefully this works for people who are struggling with crashes. You need to install these manually by dragging them in to the data file for your fallout 4 install location then again run through fallout 4 install location the script extender launcher as administrator and hopefully it wont constantly crash as I haven't got any crashes since recently doing this.

It had one book that had me very worried, luckily i havent seen anything more to do like that, so i think were good.
It is good to have the UK culture stuff in it done by actual people from that country. A lot of the same TV shows and media ended up in Australia but a year or so later back in the day.

This game was so awesome! Took me a while to finish it, and i think its clear folon does love bethesda design, i think its also a huge flex showing how good fallout SHOULD be. They fucking killed it and bethesda should be worried.
Just to add some more lore to the Beefeaters: Beefeater Gin. It's a United Kingdom brand that I have seen advertised in New York back in the mid-80s. It's relatively inexpensive and it's available here in the US. It's pretty good as a drink or as an ingredient to a Thanksgiving turkey.

I love how the pip boy looks in this. Reminds me of the original games. This combined with it being said to have rpg stuff and factoons on par with New Vegas, plus 4's biggest strengths of customization and combat really combine the best of every Fallout generation. These modders have guven us Fallout 5 before Bethesda. I just hope Microsoft or Bethesda don't get a hair across their ass and C&D this
