It's been great to see Henry go from someone who seemed completely out of his depth to becoming a complete natural in front of the camera. Thank you for the great content over the last 18 months and I'd like to wish you all the best for the future. Respect
Henry and Doddy have such good back and forth chemistry when they're in videos together, I'm going to miss that. And while it may be weird, I also really appreciate how precisely his pronunciation is - his instructional videos are really helpful. Hopefully you guys can get someone else to fill his chair. I can't imagine how much more work the other GCN presenters are having to do extra to fill the spot Jon left next to Ollie on GCN Tech.
HELLS TEETH!!!!!!!! Sad to see Henry leave I've benefitted loads from his calm and knowledgeable videos. Been a great 18 months. Brave man in this uncertain times to leave. Can only wish him all the best. Keep safe all
About Henry: He and Doddy should do a GMBN Tech presenter challenge! Index a shifter the fastest, estimate torque, bleed brakes, estimate head tube angles from a distance and so on. Would be fantastic! Also, Henry, you will be missed, you've been fantastic!
I will miss Henry's approach to his videos. I really enjoyed his analytical and scientifically sound approach to his videos. All the best in your future endeavours!!!
Devastated that Henry is leaving but so happy he is doing what makes him and his better-half happy! My favorite Henry moment(s) were him sharing his super GEEKY tips about servicing parts. As someone that is meticulous about keeping a bike running smooth I loved his little pro-tips. Happy Trails Henry!
That sucks. Just yesterday I bled my Shimano brakes and watched Henry’s real time video of him bleeding the brakes. It was very helpful and didn’t realize how important cleaning solution was needed for a brake bleed lol. Sorry to see you go man. I got into this sport by myself and would turn to this channel for tech advice and service videos and both Henry and Doty have definitely been a huge help. Cheers from Southern California and good luck you sir
With the world in this state as well. Good luck to him, he's going to need it but Henry strikes me as the kind of lad that lands on his feet more often than not (unless he's in Chile where it's his face).
The one for me is the Everesting vid. Being my local I know how steep the Push up Path at the FOD is and to do it 82 times is on another level. You'll be missed Mate. 🤜
Such sad news!! Henry we're going to miss you!! You've been such an awesome addition to the team there. Loved your videos, all have been great and very informative. I hope your next chapter is a great one! Good Luck Henry!!
Much better seeing GMBN acknowledge a presenter leaving rather than the usual “oh where’s “so & so” gone?! Sad that you are leaving Henry! You and Doddy do a great job on Tech. Is Diddy Doddy taking your place? Good Luck Henry!!
Henry, you will be missed. A while back, you did a tutorial on how to rebalance the low and high pressure systems in sram brakes. That was immensely helpful to me and I think it's truly a unique tutorial on TH-cam. Creating something truly unique on TH-cam is quite an accomplishment! Thanks for everything. Best of luck and godspeed in your next endeavor.
All the best, Henry! Live your life. I'll miss you, but super stoked that you're setting off to do what you love. Hope to see you around again someday.
going to miss Henry a lot, a guy that was always worth listen to, great podcasts, tech shows and always giving alternative reviews and adventures. Good luck man I hope we can see you around.
Henry, you will be missed, you completely revitalised my love for the channel and taught me stuff that I had no idea I needed to know, cable ties in internal routing to stop rattles I think is one of the best ever. You will be missed.
I'm going to miss Henry. I really appreciate that he has no problem expressing his dislike for some of the components or tools. My favorite is Henry taking apart his bike with only the multitool. Happy Trails Henry!
Best for me, amongst many of Henry’s pieces has been the breakdown of a bike with the Topeak ratchet tool. I went right out and got one. It’s the best little tool I’ve ever had. I’ve used it for the bike and a whole lot of other applications including work on my kitchen faucet. The Andes is legend now though.
Thanks for entertaining us Henry. I've enjoyed all the things you've done on the show and for me, you represented all of us who are not racers but love riding and pushing ourselves. I hope your next adventure is a good one.
Aww Henry, sad news but very happy for you! By FAR my favorite moment in all of GMBN history was Henry's quote at the end of the Everest challenge. "Bicycles my friends are the only chains that set you free". I literally teared up when I heard that. I wish you'd put out a T-shirt with that on, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Go and be free my friend. P.S. The crash in Chile
Thank you for making that frame raw. I was about to embark on that very journey but you beat me to it, and I’m so glad you did. My frame remains fully painted to this day 😅 good luck in the future Henry
Frag, will miss you so much, Henry. You're the bike mechanic model for speaking softly and carrying a big stick. I think I learned something every time you presented a video.
I will be missing ya Henry. You tought me a lot of useful skills and I didn't manage to screw up my bike mostly bcs of the content you was part of. Anyways thanks for what you did and be happy wherever you go :)
I am really going to miss Henry. He is a good man. Thank you for the warning about his leaving at the end of the month. I am getting ready by stocking-up on 10 gallons of fine ice-cream, 25 large chocolate bars, and a fresh supply of anti-depressants from my Doctor. He didn't want to start me on anti-depressants but once I told him that Henry was leaving GMBN he understood and immediately wrote the script and then wrote a script of anti-depressants out for himself. I wish Henry all the best in his new endeavors and great happiness.
Question on rear derailleur adjustments: I had Sram NX 11 speed but I was having lots of issues with it shifting up to the smaller cogs. It just wouldn't pull the chain. I decided to retire that system and go to Shimano XT. I installed it and am having similar issues but to a lesser extent. It shifts perfectly down from small cog to big cog. but shifting back up it flops off of the big ring after a bit of delay, and struggles on the next 2 rings, but then seems fine after that. Since it is a similar issue, could it be a bent hanger? I removed the hanger after an expensive-side-down crash to check and i couldn't find any bend. B-screw adjustment? Out of the box the b screw was set too short and i tightened it to give the roller space on the big ring. My limiter screws seem fine, and were of course the first adjustments i made.
Best of luck Henry. It’s testament to the men in front of the camera that you can get a person who hasn’t ridden a mt bike in over 15yrs watch your show. Its been my pleasure.
Henry 'Why use 2 words when 10 will do' Quinney. Gonna miss you loads. Loved the content you brought to the screen and your monologues. I love eloquence of your speech, quite quintessentially British.
Gonna miss your outstanding and hilarious turn of phrase, banter, sense of humour, intelligence, brilliant topics and scripting and phenomenal knowledge. Wishing u all the best bru.
Dang, it's a real shame to see Henry go! He very quickly became a total natural at presenting and his tips and tricks for working on bikes came in really handy for me while learning to service suspension, especially. Best of luck to you and your better half in your travels! Hopefully you'll check in sometime once you've landed on your feet!
Good luck Henry. I did exactly that last year - quit my job, sold the house and moved with my wife somewhere much better for riding. No regrets. Hope it works out for you too.
Massive bummer about Henry, the way he provides full expert knowledge as a mechanic and at the same time the riding insight of an everyday punter is an awesome combination. I combination with his manner he'll be hard to replace!
You guys... I love your work, love watching stuff I knew all along, you are my waterfall sounds for meditation. Once Blake is gone, the internet dies. Thanks for it all.
Henry leaving is sad news. He's such a great presenter and I absolutely appreciate his knowledge and experience. One of my favorite presenters on GMBN. I wish him and his family well and I hope he does find his calling. @GMBN Leave a spot open if he ever decides to come back!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻
Those Trek Y's are wild. I had one I bought and sold to my brother recently, one of my friends has a Y33 that he resto-modded and rides as his primary mtb, and I saw another Y33 out at one of my local bike parks the last time I went for a ride there.
Sad news that Henry is moving on but wish him all the best for the future adventures . All the talk of slacker head angles , have you not watched the pink bike grim donut build .....? I think we need a gmbn custom build radical frame to go head to head with them 🤙
Henry leaving is sad news indeed! I really enjoyed his knowledge of all things MTB related, his rapport when interviewing people, and his pronunciation of the word 'seen'. :) You will need to add all the times he cracked up laughing in his best bits. There are many to choose from. I vaguely remember on Tech Show once when he cracked up after Doddy mentioned a purple strap on. Good luck in life outside of GMBN Henry.
He's very quick out the gate to move on, ain't he?..... Thanks Henry! Been a pleasure watching you on the show. Loved your Everesting/long ride videos. Enjoy your future adventures and best of luck!
Gutted that henry is moving on and hope things go well for him and his partner, also it's really cool thst retro bikes are popping up from the garden shed that were abandoned and they look great when done up.
I think it would be cool if Nukeproof came out with a limited edition remake of their old hub with the carbon fiber wrap around the center. I lusted after those when I was racing in the '90s.
Real shame Henry but I've loved your insights alongside Doddys in regards to tech & setup. My confidence, skill set & importantly my wallet, have benefited massively under the guidance & advice from you both!
Best of luck Henry. Thanks to your vids i recently upgraded my Yari (debonair and switched motion control with charger damper). Your style gave me the right feelings to make It without taking Pills for anxiety 😜. I'll Really miss you ! Best of luck man 💪👍
HENRY LEAVING!!!!! Ah gonna miss everything about you. BUT at least we have the Chilli crash to always put a smile on our faces. My most favourite start to any race. To me, you are a legend. Keep on being yourself. Take care and wish you the best that life has to offer. :)
Coming from BMX i had a ton of new bike-maintenance skills to learn after i switched to mtb, and especially Henry's videos stood out to me for being easy to follow and understand, but also very in-depth on why certain things work the way they do. Thanks Henry
Henry may not be able to build a bike stand or strip paint off a frame but he does know his stuff and explains it well you’ll be missed brother best of luck to ya!
Ah Henry, so sad to see you go, but I wish you the very best of luck for the future. My favourite video has to be the everesting one. Hope to see you again on youtube :)
Oh man. You two guys on GMBN Tech tought me more staff than my school teacher did. Come on, Henry stay a little bit more, please. :-) Wish you all the best on your trip, I’m gonna miss your Pro mech tips. 🍻
I found Henry dull at first - but grew to like him and respect his take on things. Departure makes sense to me as how many MTB tech videos are possible to do? Thanks for the content Henry and wish you all the best in next endeavor. Found the Everest challenge inspiring and want to try my own sometime soon.
Henry is leaving soon so let us know your favourite Henry moments from GMBN & GMBN Tech and we will make a compilation video of them all!
When Henry kicks the bucket of paint while building a workstand and taking apart his Reactor with a multitool!
Andes Pacifico fail 😂
I couldn't wrap my head around how Henry doesn't wear a chamois.
’Thirsty Kirsty’ had me rolling for a couple of minutes straight. 🤣
10 hour loop of him falling on is face in chillie
13:50 this is when Henry says why he is leaving, ur welcome
I'm gonna miss Henry. I really enjoyed his humor, strong opinions, and pro team mechanic tips. Good luck on your travels!
It's been great to see Henry go from someone who seemed completely out of his depth to becoming a complete natural in front of the camera. Thank you for the great content over the last 18 months and I'd like to wish you all the best for the future. Respect

Hopefully you guys can get someone else to fill his chair. I can't imagine how much more work the other GCN presenters are having to do extra to fill the spot Jon left next to Ollie on GCN Tech.
He's made some great videos with us and will be missed! GCN have a great team and Jon still works behind the scenes helping out
HELLS TEETH!!!!!!!! Sad to see Henry leave I've benefitted loads from his calm and knowledgeable videos. Been a great 18 months. Brave man in this uncertain times to leave. Can only wish him all the best. Keep safe all
Much love Henry. Sad to see you go ): best moment has to be the ‘oh my god oh my god’ counter when testing mud tyres
Great shout on that clip Josh!
About Henry: He and Doddy should do a GMBN Tech presenter challenge! Index a shifter the fastest, estimate torque, bleed brakes, estimate head tube angles from a distance and so on. Would be fantastic!
Also, Henry, you will be missed, you've been fantastic!
Sad! One of the most sympathetic and knowledgeable guys. All the best Henry!
I will miss Henry's approach to his videos. I really enjoyed his analytical and scientifically sound approach to his videos. All the best in your future endeavours!!!

As someone that is meticulous about keeping a bike running smooth I loved his little pro-tips. Happy Trails Henry!
Henry is very intelligent and articulate, using GMBN as the perfect stepping stone onto bigger and better things. Good luck buddy.
That sucks. Just yesterday I bled my Shimano brakes and watched Henry’s real time video of him bleeding the brakes. Cheers from Southern California and good luck you sir
For me, when he was floating past in the background on the inner tube that rich was talking about. In South America. Best of luck Henry.
Bold man, quitting a job without having any idea what you're going to do next.
With the world in this state as well. Good luck to him, he's going to need it but Henry strikes me as the kind of lad that lands on his feet more often than not (unless he's in Chile where it's his face).
He was kicked for some reason, no one leaves without any plan or another job
@@SingleTrek Thinking the same
I dont think so, he is with Pinkbike right now
Real shame to see Henry go, he has been my favourite team member since he joined! Best wishes dude!
The one for me is the Everesting vid. Being my local I know how steep the Push up Path at the FOD is and to do it 82 times is on another level. You'll be missed Mate. 🤜
Will definitely put that in Mark! Great video that 💪
Fav Henry moment. “Straight in no kissing” cracks me up every time. Thanks Henry and all the best
No that SUCKS !!!! Henry should stay on and do remote videos.
Agree. They should not let him leave. Physically.
That is a great idea! Like having your cake and eat it too.
Sad to hear Henry is leaving, it's been awesome watching and learning from you - Best of Luck!
Such sad news!! Henry we're going to miss you!! You've been such an awesome addition to the team there. Loved your videos, all have been great and very informative. I hope your next chapter is a great one! Good Luck Henry!!

#henry. Going to miss you bud! Many hilarious moments, but Everest was an amazing thing

I’m gonna miss you Henry! It’s been awesome having you as a GMBN presenter, you embody everything someone with that title should be!

So sad to see Henry leave🤧🤧
Henry has been amazing on GMBN, such a valuable source of information, I will miss him. All the best Henry.
The Best Henry moment was when he crashed at the start gate during the andi pacifico race🤣
Henry teaching us to use cracked pepper in tyre sealant to help patch up small punctures quickly
Sorry to see u going Henry. Really enjoyed having you on the channel.
All the best for the future mate
Henry - love the real time tuning vids you've done with GMBN. Super helpful for us home mechs - thanks from those of us working on our own rigs!
I'm going to miss Henry. I really appreciate that he has no problem expressing his dislike for some of the components or tools. My favorite is Henry taking apart his bike with only the multitool. Happy Trails Henry!

i definitely loved seeing him stip a bike down with a multi tool and wipe out at the begining of an ews stage in chilli !!! haha
Thanks for entertaining us Henry. I've enjoyed all the things you've done on the show and for me, you represented all of us who are not racers but love riding and pushing ourselves. I hope your next adventure is a good one.
Sorry to see you go Henry. Good luck in your travels. Hope to ride with you sometime...

Henry's the man. Best wishes dude. I was blown away by his Everest keepin' it real with just baggies, t shirt and a chair in the wood. Legit!
GMBN you should do episode about shoes for flats. What is important - what type of soles, material ect.
Thank you for making that frame raw. I was about to embark on that very journey but you beat me to it, and I’m so glad you did. My frame remains fully painted to this day 😅 good luck in the future Henry

Sad to know that Henry is leaving! I love your workstand building video with Blake!
Good luck Henry. I did exactly that last year - quit my job, sold the house and moved with my wife somewhere much better for riding. No regrets. Hope it works out for you too.
I loved his repair stand vid with Blake and disassembling a bike with a multi-tool. The ninja star thing sounds great too!
Henry, have fun man! You have the most contagious smile ever

Watching Henry and Blake make a DIY bike stand was hilarious 😂 Wish you the best Henry!! Enjoyed all your tips and videos.

Henry - All the best in your future life. I like thousands of others will miss you giving us your knowledge on screen. We will miss you!!!
Going to miss Henry's chill voice and the multitool bike disassembly video
He's very quick out the gate to move on, ain't he?..... Thanks Henry! Been a pleasure watching you on the show. Loved your Everesting/long ride videos. Enjoy your future adventures and best of luck!

Doddy, make a full suspension mountain fixie!
Henry, sorry to see you leaving.
That would be crazy! Blake did a fixed gear hardtail video back on Freak Week, here is the link 👉 gmbn.eu/fixed
That would be an interesting project to take on. I'd watch it.
Sad to see Henry go! He’s awesome! But you have to follow your own path! Best of luck, Henry!
Best of luck Henry. Thanks to your vids i recently upgraded my Yari (debonair and switched motion control with charger damper). Your style gave me the right feelings to make It without taking Pills for anxiety 😜.
I'll Really miss you ! Best of luck man 💪👍

Henry you should come up to the Yukon. Only ~35,000 people here for an area about twice the size of the UK. Lots of great riding up here.
Wow! So sry he leaves. He was great, with great humour and a lot of knowledge! Bon voyage Henry!
I beg he ain’t acc leaving
Good luck Henry! Learned a lot thanks to you.
Henry helped me solve my problem in his "servicing an air spring in real-time" video. We'll miss Henry 👋
Henry, it's been great, thanks a lot for this time!
If you have a spring loaded chain tensioner with pulley wheels can't you still run single speed on a bb that is part of the front triangle?
Good luck Henry. I'd like a compilation of how many times Henry has said the word "interface".
well, that sure answers why PSN have had an ad up for a GMBN tech presenter for the past few months. Didn't see that one coming my eye!
Noooooo Henry pls stay at GMBN
Dont leave us
Oh man. You two guys on GMBN Tech tought me more staff than my school teacher did. Come on, Henry stay a little bit more, please. :-)
Wish you all the best on your trip, I’m gonna miss your Pro mech tips. 🍻
Super bummed you are headed out; but much respect for following your ambition. Best wishes mate!
Good luck on your travels Henry!!
I found Henry dull at first - but grew to like him and respect his take on things. Departure makes sense to me as how many MTB tech videos are possible to do? Thanks for the content Henry and wish you all the best in next endeavor. Found the Everest challenge inspiring and want to try my own sometime soon.
We'll miss you, Henry! Best of luck on the next chapter.
Well this is news! Sad to see ya go Henry, but godspeed! Good luck and best wishes on your endeavors.
Best of luck for the future Henry 👍
I loved it when Henry kicked that bucket of brown paint on Blake's garden :'D
Great show guys! Cheers💯 Henry's best bit for me was the Everest Challenge, that he completed!💪😎 that and his crash 5 seconds into a race😆
Henry is too smart and too knowledgeable. He deserves something more than just a presenter.
Well he was a race mechanic before gmbn
Man's boring asf
Presenters: hey!
