Joe Biden will take office at a moment of profound national crisis in a deeply divided country: In addition to the chaos of the Capitol attack and the undermining of the election by President Trump, approximately 400,000 Americans are dead from the coronavirus, and a reckoning over racism in the wake of George Floyd’s killing is ongoing.
How will Biden navigate the substantial challenges that lie ahead? The documentary “President Biden” offers answers. In the film, those who know Biden best describe the searing moments that shaped the President-elect and what those challenges reveal about how he may govern a nation confronting multiple crises.
The documentary is from veteran FRONTLINE filmmaker Michael Kirk, who with his team has made five installments of FRONTLINE’s election-year series The Choice and nearly 20 documentaries about the Trump and Obama eras.

While delivering remarks before a black audience in Delaware, Biden launched into a meandering story about a gang leader named Corn Pop and claimed that he “learned about roaches” while working at a community pool in a black neighborhood.
Fair enough, but try make sure your respect doesn't turn into adoration or worship??....The man IS a politician, and I have observed, that, at best, such people are "necessary evils"....Even "honest Abe"???

As a father that really ended for me anymore excuses of staying late in the office while my wife suffers with the kids at home, i gotta step up & be the father im supposed to be. President Biden is really an example for everyone of us. Here is the man who was sworn in into the US senate at a hospital bed with his children.

I did not agree with all his policies but his CHARACTER was INTENSELY NEEDED. I admired him because he maintained his character through out all those years debating this bill and that and struggling ...not giving up. Most of all, he LISTENS and he ADJUSTS. He is not a train on a track unable to turn left or right according to the needs. He's the man of the hour.

Skipping from the Clarence Thomas hearings (1991) to his 2007 presidential run missed key issues like his involvement in the 1994 Crime Bill and his vote for the Iraq war in 2002, which may offer prescience about his potential performance as President - a big omission. The documentary couldn't cite much in terms of accomplishments despite nearly 50 years in government, but catalogs his history of relentless ambition. I left this documentary feeling that Biden has much ambition but little capability and accomplishment.
They mention his support of the Iraq war in America After 9/11. As for the Crime Bill, Bernie Sanders and the CBC also voted for it. You gonna beat them over the head?

I like watching these documentaries because they recast events in a historical light and one thing that is a fact is that human memory and intuition are not as reliable as we like to imagine so seeing it from a more overarching perspective that isn’t filled with personal bias is important

Now that today is the big day for Joe Biden and Harris because of their inauguration in the White House, some Americans like myself and my aunt are happy about it. While other Americans are outraged and angry. But for me, I have no regrets of what I did. Voting for Biden and Harris. I'm sincerely hoping and praying that all the riots and violence will cease to exist and there'll be a peaceful transition. And to prove my point, I added the United States to my Rosary prayer list including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. And here's the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi.

The man has been caught in lie after lie his entire political career. Like how he got caught lying about how he marched for civil rights and had the endorsement of the NAACP when he tried to run in 87 and ended up dropping outta the presidential race because he got caught plagiarizing someones speech. Or how about when he called black men super predator’s when he got the 94 crime bill passes that locked up thousands of black people. His own VP called him a racist a little over a year ago and also said she believed and stood by the women that claimed they were sexually harassed by him in the 90’s. I’m not telling you to believe anything I say because you can look all this up for yourself and see it’s true. He isn’t this great man he wants you to think he is and is a classic example of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

And I noted through the years when seeing him interviewed, thinking that he would probably make a good president. When Obama and he were voted in, I was very glad. I ran into the bathroom and locked myself in and cried like a child for a long time. Everything he stood for was so important to me. I had never participated in politics. I had never been to a presidential rally or worked a phone bank. It was so exciting. But what a painful ending. I will forever carry Bernie's torch. Regardless of what they say ❤
This makes me think of the speech that Steve Jobs gave. When he was fired from apple his own company and then then the journey he finished put apple where it is now.
