- Today we dive into all the main required boss fights for LOTF and rank them in order from Easiest to hardest. Sorry i'm missing some footage from a few of the fights it was deleted on accident.

bro, iron wayfarer used an explosive inferno buff on his weapon and I couldn’t see my screen half the time because the explosions were so big. It still took me 2 tries, but it was SOOO annoying.

Pretty fun video. I think that the difficulty of each boss varies depending on your build. On my first play through I struggled against the crow bc I was two handing a grand sword and didn’t really have any range. On my second play through I used a crossbow and the boss was a joke. Each play through has had its own set of different challenges.
Thanks for making this, I love souls games and watching boss rankings but I don't have a next gen console so I can't play this game yet. I really appreciate you making this video

BTW Tancred is the reverse Ludwig from Bloodborne: first phase the knight, second phase - the beast.

You did miss Elainne the umbral ending final boss. But yeah that top 3 did give me the most trouble. Esepcially on ng+1 b4 the boss nerfs when every boss had 10x more health. Tancred with both phases having more than 100k maybe upwards of 150k health was brutal lol
What nerfs are you talking about? All i ever hear in the updates are that they have buffed hp and damage of bosses, not to mention that they revamped the movesets
As an Inferno/Str build with Rhogar's Reach, which is a quick hitting polearm version of Fallen lord's sword and doing the inferno ending, i didn't have much trouble mid/late game boss wise, early game though where there's a lack of decent inferno spells before the Fire giant, some bosses were a pain. Bosses that took me more than 1-2 attempts were the fire giant, Lightreaper and the Saint. Even then, none took more than 5-6 attempts. Everything else was pretty much oneshot or 2nd try after i got Magma surge, Seismic slam, Infernal weapon and Cataclysm. If anything i had more trouble getting to bosses than actual fighting them with some of the world.
Just beat Judge Cleric...and wow, that was tough! Definitely hardest one for me so far.

I agree with the ranking, although even after beating the game I have no recollection of fighting number 3 on your list lol 😂.
A tip for judge cleric, on her first phase you can soulflay her to make it easier.
Judge Cleric was pretty hard, I even had to go out there and grind a little to upgrage my weapons and catalysts. Since I ran an Inferno build the first phase was a breeze, but on the second phase my DPS sharply dropped and I had to memorize the moveset, thankfully she is much less inventive in that regard than the first phase.
Orios judgment works a charm in second phase. Just spam multiple of them and kite her around 😂
I have The Blood glory sword with Ravager Gregory sword Radiance build at Level 10, I literally killed bosses in 3 to 4 hits, I did farmed for hours but it was worth the grind, No boss stood a chance but i did have a tough time with Adyr the Bereft Exile, The guy was very tricky because having a strong weapon did not make a difference.
I first tried Judge Cleric, my guy just use a fully upgraded Wayfarer's hammer that weapons is bonkers unga bunga bonk power.I don't really agree with this list but is just my opinion i guess, i went full strength i had an easy time with most bosses, except Light Reaper i fought with poison and bleed that one. I am getting ready to get the Adyr ending and then start a full inferno playthrough with Lord class to get radiant ending then radiant build for umbral ending just to play with all the elements of the game.
Try those bosses on new game plus. Their HP is bumped up to eleven. The Sundered Monarc take 10 minutes to kill. It's not really hard, but I male more mistakes the longer the fight becomes and some bosses can one shot you.
Im saying, when I saw monarc at 12… I was like huhhh?!?!
I'd personally put Scourged Sister way up there. Her moveset was pretty difficult to get used to imo but once I did it was a really fun fight. Especially that double-hit she can do on either her third or fourth attack in a combo screwed me over a lot. On the other hand both Crimson Rector and Iron Wayfarer had movesets that felt mostly intuitive and telegraphed making them pretty easy. Harrower Dervla was surprisingly easy but I also fought her really late after I already beat Tancred so I just melted her healthbar. For Tancred on the other hand I had just +5 or +6 weapons so he was super tanky and easily the hardest boss in the game for me, especially that second phase. You also didn't include the Abiding Defenders, honestly one of my favorite fights in the game and probably my favorite gank boss in any game. They were also decently difficult, would probably put them at the lower end of top 10.
Great explanations, as far as abiding defenders I was trying to only do boss fights that were ‘required’ to beat in order to progress and that’s optional, there’s a couple other optional bosses that are also missing
The Congregator Of Flesh was my favorite looking boss and boss intro.
The bosses that are here ranked as easie killed me much more than the hard bosses xd
The hollowed crow is probably my biggest hate boss
I never died to the houndmaster on all three of my playthroughs, but I’ve died to sundered monarch and unbroken promise a lot
Lord of fallen is like a dark souls with easy mode
Just a small correction about reinhold not doing any elemental damage. He has a few moves where he can do fire damage.

I just defeated judge cleric tonight after 3 attempts and the final go I spent over 10 minutes switching between holy support spells and my throwing hand, utilizing ammo satchels, weapon buffs, regen spells etc. I got really good at evading her during the second phase and found out that poisoning her is her Achilles heel. So I wanted to look up something like this to see how hard others think she was because man I was sweating. Glad to see it was number 1!

Yea my enhanced poison javelin was a huge help.
I had a hell of a time with a lot of the bosses due to constant performance and FPS issues on XSX, especially Iron Wayfarer, where the fight isn’t especially hard. Oh, and adding any sort of decent ranged option, with a status like poison, can make some of these fights much easier, like the Ruiner.
Good tip on the damages options, there’s a lot of really OP throwables I was sleepin on those for awhile
No wonder I am still stuck at boss nr4 on this list 😂
Lorewise putting the Judge Cleric as the first has a lot of sense , afterall she's one of the demigods who defeated adyr , quite possibly the most powerful entity that we directly face ( adyr is not faced directly and in a weakened state )

She wasn't a demigod, none of the bosses are in this game, she was just a very skilled warrior priestess who got worshipped because of her accomplishments and supposed perfection. The closest to demigod in the game is probably her second phase because she's all powered up by the rune of adyr. (Besides Adyr himself obviously)
how much hours did you have after the boss with the dogs?
I’m honestly not sure, that fight prob took almost an hr between the actual fight and running to the room
For #4 the hush saint just stay at the entrance of the beacon you have to purge and he can't get behind you that way so you can always see him coming

Found it! After all those days, i finally found someone who died to "we have prince Lorian at home" fight at least once. I got to her second phase in Umbral without flask charges, still got her cheeks clapped. Same as MightyMoo and same as Tyrannicon. Her second phase is weird - she just cant hit you and she gives so much time to heal yourself via spells or that uber-healing javelin, its not even funny. She's a looker tho, well until she gets a whole ass dead baby as a head.
Did you overlook the two old ladies with the holy great swords? Maybe it is I who overlooked them in your video.

I agree with Judge being the hardest. First boss that made me think about quitting due to if being so much bull****.
The number 2 guy was my first and currently only 2 phase boss encounter. I killed him ez....one hit from my hammer did a qurter of his hp but he def was an enjoyable boss....
Interesting you put the mistress of hounds at 11 but the crow so low, i feel like the crow’s fight was the hounds on steroids.
Also, the Umbral ending has it’s own final boss that’s not Adyr
Personally the crow fight was a lot easier to run away from the reg mob, the dogs are insane I can’t ever catch a breath lol, and I actually figured out about that boss while making this vid but since I didn’t fight her in my play through I didn’t wanna rank her without my own personal experience
Tip for the Hushed Saint: If you destroy an umbral skull in the arena it will create a thorny explosion. If you time it right it will knock down the saint from his horse ending the prancing around phase immediately. Its a bit difficult to pull of first, but if you get a feel for it can be done very consistently and greatly speeds up the fight.
Also parrying him is a really good way to speed up the fight. You cant parry the shield bash (or at least I couldnt get the timing right) but you can parry the downward strike and if you stay close the explosion wont hit you.

@@BoundLunar Yeah, the game does a pretty bad job at teaching you the umbral skulls role and interactions of them with different enemies. I think it would be much better if it sprinkeld some around the zone, teaching you that you can use them to knock enemies around.
I think Tancred is harder than Judge Cleric. The judge has pretty much the same moveset in the second phase, wheres Reinhold is just so different than Tancred and both have a lot of health. Tancred and Reinhold are also the best fight for me in the game.
It was a hard decision between the two, I definitely see the point of tancred actually being two completely different fights, the reason I put judge at 1 was mainly because of how crazy the first phase was atleast for me, between the radiant spells and her 3-5 hit combos it felt like I never had a second to do anything, tancred just feels like a slower fight it’s alot more manageable
Was were disappointed with bosses in this game. They were all easy especially with refined build and weapons +10. But in NG+1 it was real challenge. I went for umbral ending and last boss was real fun and real challenge. She had so much health so I went through all of her phases. #1 boss for me. But they patched health on NG+ so not sure if it is still brings that level of challenge.
#2 is lightreaper for sure
Really hard boss fights my first try I usually almost get them.. Come very very close.. Then that's the closest I'll get for many trys

Though the harrower is completely optional except when youregoing for the umbral ending...

Radiance build/Bloody Glory/Pieta's just destroys all bosses, it's crazy. I fought the Judge last night and it was over in less than a minute, only had to heal twice and watched a video later to see her actual AOE attacks.
Gregory's Ravener Grand sword be eating em up way better then those swords
Honestly the bosses are pretty easy as long as you keep calm and not rush too much, every boss no metter how he looks like will be easy target as long as you learn to "dance " with them , if you using dodge or perry , its usually 1,2...3 , two fast and one slow attacks , or one AoE that deals a massive demage but you can easily just rol in to this attack . Also the ultimate blocking with everything really make it casual, I finish the game with 9 vigor and can say that the hardest part in it was the bosses or the areas with a strong guy in the middle and a banch of little insects that always try to interapt a fight between two mans , also the platforming part pretty annoying, but the bosses them self are chill
The only boss I found somewhat hard compared to the rest atleast, was the secret end boss for the umbral ending. And it wasnt that troublesome in the end, that being Said I still enjoyed the game a lot even though the boss difficulty wasnt really there. But I did enjoy a lot of the bosses and found them entertaining and overall nice in general
I actually didn’t know about that fight until I was already making this list, but I’m going for the umbral ending on my new playthrough so I’m pretty pumped to try it out
I found Harrower dervla fight to be very easy. Defeated her in first try. Then again I had a +5 pieta's sword with 40 radiance

Personally I thought I was pretty solid, I like that they tried putting their own twist on things with the umbral world/lamps, the stories also really long do you get a good deal of content for the purchase, only real pain of the whole playthrough is the insane density of mobs in some cases, this game will straight up throw 5-10 people at you at a time and think everything’s okay
@@BoundLunar i saw this on bosses too, i mean the mobs are even in bossfights and there are these things in umbral that are part of bossfights.does that bother a lot the player or it is something that can be "outplayed" easly? Thx for an eventual response
@@GhostDarkER. every enemy has their own weakness so it can forsure be outplayed, if you’re ever having trouble too you can just run through the area and dodge everything
The easiest bosses if Sekiro gave me tougher time than Judge cleric honestly
So far I’ve found every NON human boss to be easy but just annoying because of their unique boss gimmick or the the fight was just made harder because of the run up to the boss fight from the closest vestige
The human type bosses are really the best of this game for me because they actually feel like I’m fighting something rather than a stupid boss gimmick
Yeah I definitely feel you on that, that’s why I liked crimson percival so much, it felt the most like an actual straight up sword fight
@@BoundLunar I’m telling you man. So far I’m at the Ice Area and I’ve lit 3/5 beacons and I’ve only had GENUINE fun fighting Pieta, Percival, and skinstealer. But they literally just become avg enemies in the same level or next one you meet them so it takes it away. It’s a great game when I’m engaging with the mechanic and not running from AOE bullshit

That’s a fair point I probably shouldn’t just use ‘this boss is easy’ as an excuse I should explain further than that, but also at the end of the day the difficulty for all these souls games is very subjective I mean even if two people are hypothetically on the same skill level they’re not gonna have identical playthroughs for a variety of different reasons
Honestly, Adyr, Crow & Progeny shoulda been 24, 23, & 22 respectively. This game has a lot of joke bosses

@@BoundLunar i think you shouldn't be able to defeat him at the point you've encounter him, he got me good when i started as a dude with spear. I mean, i had 0 chance to defeat him - my double spear build was hitting him for 180 per R1, a wiser move would be to go anywhere else to beef up. Me though, got myself a cleric and equiped 2 starting hammers, with same amount of upgrades - 360 per R1. With 360/R1 clapped him first try. I think there's balance issue, some builds/starting chars are just SOOOOO much better than others.

Yeah I don’t remember exactly how far into the game the fight was at this point but ‘warmup boss’ probably would have been better phasing

One you get the parry down its easy. The smaller the weapon the bigger the parry is too. Dagger parry is busted. I came to this game after lies of p this felt like ez mode

@@BoundLunar You can suck up any of the parasites creating a crystal that knocks him off, you can parry him off, or even snipe him with a ranged item I think.
iron wayfarer was the only boss i died more than 5 times to. so annoying.

holy shit your number 18 got me screaming xDD Face this bitch at NG+ without a companion and shes in your top 3. Here me out why: half her attacks one hit; If you greed for more attacks she swaps her attack pattern and punishes you differently; When shes down to 3/4 HP the camera will be your biggest problem... you lose your aimlock on her after she jumps far away..then there are those fences (almost feels like she pushes you even more towards the fence) sometimes she just jumps in and out following up with some autoaimed spear attacks casted behind that sight blocking fence... that also one hit ahhabahbab I totally lost my mind on this losing aimlock thing ... especially when you press the stick to lock on again and instead of locking your camera it just clips into a random direction... This was hell. Minutes after fighting her you meet the normal mob type version of this boss and SHEs the one to get almost onehitted. Insane balance issue right there. Normal mob should get a buff and the camera thing needs a fix? xD Idk if this is intended. Ill upload the clip for those who are curious about this fight.

Elianne and Lightreaper were the worst for me.
I'd describe most boss fights in this game as simple but sweet. You don't have to spend a lot of attempts honing your strategy and execution like in Elden ring or Sekiro, but enemy attacks are fun to evade nonetheless and there is almost always some cool gimmicks to differentiate the encounters or to add a bit of memorability to elite enemy minibosses. Except Gaverus, the armoured dogs are an enemy that shouldn't have ever been created and they get even more annoying in groups or with archers, this encounter has both. It's also baffling to me this is one of the first mandatory bosses in the game
I was so exited to fight dirva, i thought she was going to be a cool challenge form ehat i saw from the trailer's, i beat her without healing so disappointing
These bosses are just so boring and easy
i dont know what you talking about mate ,all the bosses in this game where so disappointing and easy , the only time it took me little effort was for elliane the starved .
Also i was using simple strength build which is towards the weaker side of builds in this game with all the various magic and ranged options , bonged most bosses in 2-3 attempts max , many of them on 1st attempt .
