i seriously prefer Amazfit stratos 3 and its line up... no other watchs beat it in always on transrefletive display (with seconds hand always on) feels so real! people always gives a curious stare on my watch😅
I have an Amazfit Stratos since summer of 2018 and I love it a lot! :)) You really can use the GPS for 30 straight hours, it's not the usual 6-8 hours of other smart(er) watches, plus it's dead on compared to a few mobile phones. And as you mentioned, nothing can beat this transflective display - I have a Kospet Hope 3/32 with much better specs, it's a real Android 7.1.1 phone in a watch's case, the display is gorgeous, but it's only on when you press a button (or if it's set, when you raise your wrist). The closest thing to the Stratos is the TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE, it has dual display: AMOLED for the WearOS & apps, transflective LCD for always displaying the time - but it has a much shorter battery life, plus an outdated SoC (SD Wear 2100 instead of the Mi Watch's 3100). So I think I'll keep my beloved Stratos for another while. :))
@@davetech356 I don't have a Bip to compare to, but one charge is sufficient for 4-5 days with about 3 hours of GPS usage per day, which is just perfect for me.

I love my GTS too. Notifications are great and health, heart tracking is good. Battery life may also be a big consideration in considering GTS vs MI Watch too. I believe the GTS would have longer battery life..
SPOTTE How is the connection from the app to your watch. Mine is drowning the battery of my iPhone. And often I am kicked out of the Amazfit app and have to login again and connect my gts again (and lose the data on the watch). Do you have this?
@@MarkdeBruin Sometimes it disconnects, and I will receive delayed alerts. Generally battery life is 3-4 days. I'm using it with Android which seems to be quite reliable.
Mark de Bruin my GTS works with iPhone 7 plus. Never lost connection and battery life didn’t change at all since I started to use watch connected with smartphone.

Correction: Xiaomi and Amazfit watches made by the same company - Huami, and which is one of the eco-chain companies of Xiaomi also was partially invested by Xiaomi. I really love this Xiaomi Mi Watch and I also like the Amazfit GTS. I just received my Xiaomi Mi Band 4 yesterday 12/24/19 and to be honest so far I'm very impressed with the company and their products. They give you great value for a very reasonable price. I started buying into smart watches in 2015 when I purchased my LG G Watch. I also just purchased the Willful Fitness Tracker Watch 2019 from Amazon about a week ago for only $35.00 and it is great. I'm definitely going to purchase this Xiaomi Mi Watch because it's a serious Smart Watch like My 46mm Samsung Galaxy Watch. So far with all this said however, nothing even compares to my Samsung Galaxy Watch. Thanks again for another OUTSTANDING review. Your channel is now one of my absolute favorite on TH-cam, Great Job.

You are absolutely right. However, the call test I did in the video is via Bluetooth and it works perfectly fine. Have tried it a couple times - no issues there.

Are you sure they are in same parent company? One that i know is the amazfit products is made by Huami. Huami is the corporate who made smartband for xiaomi and of course for the latest one, miWatch. Amazfit is Huami's product, not under Xiaomi.

the Mi watch reminds me of the old Dick Tracy wrist radio of decades past. Amazing that we have progressed technology so far as to make it a reality. Same thing with my amazfit pace and now the GTS.

The battery life on the Mi Watch is 1.5-2 days. On the Amazfit it is 14 days without AOD and 3 days on AOD.

Question with the MI Watch can you answer the notifications without eSim? Or the Bluetooth connection can let you answer?
eSim assures 4G (and 5G if you have in your country) connection, otherwise you will have to use Wifi on it or Bluetooth from phone I guess

You can still make and answer calls with just Bluetooth. In the video I did a call demo using Bluetooth only. It's crystal clear 😉

Yes probably, you can at least connect Airpods and i500 on this so I guess you can connect everything on it

Xiaomi stated 36 hours but some persons have been getting around 50-60 hours of battery life on a single charge

It works with both Android and iOS but functionality on iOS is extremely limited right now because the Xiaomi Wear app is not yet developed for iOS.

Walter Perry rather few days! For me it took like two. GTS Works perfectly withb IOS and is very intuitive.

It's only connected via Bluetooth at the moment. The e-SIM is still in it's early stages and does not support my carrier yet.

Yes you can. Yes it has. GPS is accurate if you use your phone's GPS.
