Same here. Not loving the design, way too bulky. Screen looks crisp, but Android wear looks sluggish and unintuitive. I much prefer the Amazfit GTS, which looks a lot sleeker.

Herd mentality 😌. It's not thick or ugly at all compare with my previous wearOS watch such as: LG Urban lte 2, Huawei watch 2. One of the first wearOS watches with big battery and snap 3100 (there're Snap 3100 watches but not this big battery)
I think smartwatches are better with square (rectangle) screens like this. The round ones, like my Ticwatch lose a lot of space not having the corners.

The software looks very unpolished,id say lets wait for the global version and see how the GAPPs run otherwise it would be better to wait for sometime and see how the software ages.

The watch language itself could be in English if your phone language is English. However, this is China wearOS, you should wait for the global version with full Google support.

Hi Kenny! Bluetooth is working great on the watch. If you ask me to choose this or the Galaxy Active 2, I might actually go with the Samsung. I prefer the UI and OS of the Samsung watch over this. However, I'm still testing this out so who knows, I might also like this at the end of the day!

How does the NFC access cards work? Can you scan a card with the watch and use it to open doors?
Not sure about opening doors but you can definitely add an access card to the watch via the Mi Wear app!

It supports eSIM. Call through the watch directly.

Does the gts support apps or is it only a fitness watch.

For users outside China changing language looks very bad. We have to wait for globacl version with Google Apps (Maps, Assistant etc).

Haha occasionally it doesn't register my touches. But it's not that serious. Rarely happens.
