Great video, Luke. I love your attempts at Pwllheli! I only once delivered in Caernarfon. It was the day Terry Wogan retired from Radio two. Fortunately I was in a small van, so I could choose where to stop and enjoy his emotional sign-off, before heading back to base in Hertfordshire. Happy memories! Brian

Pwllheli is my home town, but since moved away.
The satnav took you the long way round out of Huws Gray 😆, should have gone out the same way you came in, over the railway then turn left over the bridge, would have taken you straight to Asda where you would have turned right then off you go out of town 😆

Lucky enough to retire to North Wales, drive around a lot of the places you went, the lovely village you went through at 5.15 was Criccieth 20 minutes from my home, we go for lunch there every week, never move anywhere else now.
dam my heart was going when that van got really close to the truck i just dont know how you doit wow and what a nice reverse that was so well done what a driver luke is awsome
Crackin channel been binging for a few hours now as a newbie i have to say i'd have been pretty intimidated by that maneuver by the castle but I am looking forward to doing something similar 👍

Some years ago my girlfriend (now my wife of 10 years) and I went to Snowdonia, we stayed in Machynlleth, the scenery around there is just stunning
I'm a Canadian trucker and drive all over Canada and the United States and love watching UK trucking vlogs. Driving trucks on these roads looks insane! Every turning your tyres are just inches from touching the curb, requires pin point judgement. Nearly every delivery yard is tight as hell no room to manoeuvre. If you think those views are good you should drive across Canada and the US you will see some absolutely incredible landscapes. Huge mountain ranges, deep valleys, huge open plains and untouched lakes. You can drive on the same road for 100 miles without having to take a single turning. Oh and virtually no roundabouts to deal with! Keep on trucking Luke!
One of the advantages of being a trucker is seeing things others don't. I retired 8 years ago from driving full time. Last job was boring. All we did is drove 2 hours between a railhead and mine site with 4 trailers. Just 2 roads there and back, day in day out. So boring it put a driver to sleep and he ended up in a field. Was a challenge getting 100t of trailers out of a farmers paddock. Thankfully the truck was a tri-drive and was able to get out by itself but it damaged two fuel tanks on the RHS and the 5th wheel.

My tom tom try same thing where it takes uou of main route down a slip road and up other side back onto your route. This happens M18 at junction with A1.god knows why.😂😂

Hi Luke, you make the same mistake as most English people do when trying to speak another language, you need to realise that other languages have a totally different alphabet, very few letters in the Welsh alphabet are pronounced the same as English, firstly lets look at Huws Gray, the English equivalent is Hughes Gray, as for Pwllheli you are not even close, Butlins had a holiday camp in Pwllheli, maybe find an old video about the camp.
The best way for you to find any Welsh pronunciation is to ask Scott Andrews. Google translate has it almost correct. Regards from Ray in North Wales
