That was a little sloppy for cheese. xD I climb to the very top before I aggro him, and then I look north and exit/reload the game. The snow will be clear for a few seconds so you can aim your great bow at it. I use Radahn's rain when it gets closer.
It was sloppy. I had no idea what I was doing, lol. I climbed that structure to see if something was up there. I saw the big bad wolf but couldn't lock target. So I went down and did what I did, and It worked. Not a bow user sadly, killed him with whatever I had in my pockets at that time. It was fun :D
Ah yes. I should've. Finding this wolf is difficult. The fog won't let you see it. I uninstalled the game, so I won't be able to show you the location. I'm sure you'll bump into it if you keep exploring. That happened to me.

i have died 6 times and had no spare time any more to play again yesterday but i consider now sentinel tree shield. it should deflect magic swords. what do you thin? anyone tried already? a shield with Ketarian sth or whatever the ash of war is called should be fine too. i do not like from software. their ides suck. Nordic mythology is full of rubbish. that fox with a sword in his teeth. and snow storm in parallel. come on. it is like BF4 map in the gulf of oman or the one with blizzard. you practically cannot see. my eyes hurt. in DS2 they had a piece in a snow land. i played 15' and dropped it. i am not a sherpa and will not wear sunglasses during the game you imbecils from software. all successors of Miyazaki need to die out before their products are playable
The shield can help, yes. And you can use any ranged attacks. I think you mean Carian Retaliation ash of war. I didn't use it, but it might help you deflect those glintswords.
