Thanks for the video. It seems to be that the refrigerant use by Honda is not a good quality one. We bought my wife Honda Pilot 2016 6 years ago and it’s out of it. My Scion TC 2014 still working as new. My wife noticed two months ago that the temperature was increasing. Until three days ago, the temperatures were high. I am about to conduct this service, thanks.

Couldn’t see what you screwed off very well. And I couldn’t see the pressure that you kept showing

You did not show where exactly you screwed it on would’ve been better video

Pretty similar how I did mine. Added 2 small cans of R134a. I have a leak and it was completely empty as I haven't added any for about a year. Interestingly that as I was finishing topping mine off, the compressor would cycle on and off (this is normal) and my gauge readings were 40ish when off and about 28 when on. Very similar to the self charging gauge that you have. Vent temps were about the same as well when finished. Took me about 1/2 hour to fully charge mine. Thanks for the vid!

Thank you. I think I need to do this. Why do you need to keep moving the fan? Can you just shake the can a lot before hand and not have to keep moving it? Also, does this method last as long at having it professionally filled, or is it just a quick cheaper method ? At least I know how do it now thank you

The instructions on the can state to move it from 12 to 3 o’clock every few seconds

Do you have to have that gauge thing too?

Seems like you need to replace your driver side blend door.

Side blend door works. It was only low on refrigerant. Just had to refill and everything is back to normal.

@@VingMedia I also thought it interesting that only one side was blowing warm and I would have suspected the blend door as well. Have to wonder why only one side was blowing cold (or one side was blowing warm). I would think that if both temp knobs are set to coldest, that both would blow the same temp. Guess there is more to the system that I know (not surprised there! :D). Good work!

Some Honda actuators run out of lubricant in the gears and get stuck

I'm just wondering how long your AC stayed cold after this, and if it's still cold?
