This woman has reminded me of the path I was on in the 1990s. I met the man I dreamed of, envisioned my whole life, and only to lose him to cancer. THIS reminds me of the path I was on and to refocus my energies where I was in my 30s. Personal self development 🙌🏻🫂❤️

Many marry for the wrong reasons. I have so many friends who are unhappy in there marriages. People ARE AFRAID TO SPEND TIME ALONE WITH SELF! I travel by myself, I shop, got to the movies, have dinner all by myself. You can have some of the best experiences just being with self. You can’t wait on anyone to be happy!

Yes, we need to be independent, to learn to what we enjoy in our own, but that is basically a learning process……
At some point we need to find the one or persons that are compatible with ourself and share with eachother or better still, builder together. We were created for relationships not for consumption!

I’m a sapiosexual . Attracted to smart men. I’m also a woman that has had a few narcissistic men in my life . I know what I don’t want. It’s difficult to meet a man that has the same intellectual interests as me. It’s rare to meet a guy that has morals and respect for women’s boundaries. Bullshitters are a plenty. I’ve been single since 1993. Have not been with a man (physically) since 1998. I’m 70 now. Self respect is what I have been working on. I will not give up/share my body with a man unless he loves me and I love him. No more one-sided relationships for me. I may die without ever discovering that one sincere guy, but oh well. Better to be alone and happy than be in loneliness in an unmatched relationship.

A perfect marriage or relationship is an illusion; there's no universal playbook for making them work. What's effective for one couple may not apply to another. Nevertheless, I've come to understand that there's always a solution to be found. Half a decade ago, my wife and I faced such trials in our marriage that divorce seemed inevitable. Yet, through perseverance and determination, we navigated through the rough waters and emerged stronger, reunited, and more resilient

I cannot agree! We would not plan or make a strategy if this was the case. So, yes you can certainly mess it up, we often do, but you can decide to fix it or leave it behind and rise above it going forward, or you can stay stuck in the mess. In the same way you can build today for tomorrow. In both cases though life can surprise you apart from your lack of efforts or fuck you up apart from your many efforts. So just show up everyday and make the best of it, if it gives you apples or lemons, take it and make something nice for you.

I'm 47, divorced for 14 years, and I'm loooooooooovin' the single life. The more I hear, "You're still young, you NEED a man in your life", the more I feel singlehood was the best choice for me. I'm not looking, actively or inactively. This is my time for me and my kids. I don't want a relationship, and I don't need the drama nor do I need or want to answer to someone else other than my kids. I'm too independent and many guys don't like that. My narcissistic "mother", ex-husband, and daughters' father do not approve of my independence. If a man exists who is okay with me being my own person and not a lost puppy, he'll either be gay, traumatized by his last girlfriend, or stuck in a crappy relationship. There are very few "good men" out there now. I'm not so lonely that I need to have a smackdown with some spoiled brat over him. If he wants me, he'll find me. Then he'll have a LOOOOOT of work to do to convince me that he's legit.

i am less than 15 minutes in and I am TOTALLY blown away. Lisa has had some great guests in the past but Dr, Trimm is bringing not only the heat but also necessary questions for women of all ages to ask themselves.

She has cleared up every thought and feeling I have had she has confirmed i am moving in the right direction. Putting up boundaries is hard and people make you feel bad about living your life. But either they get with it or exist the circle whoever it is. Love yourself over everything.

Wow!!! I used to listen to Cindy’s sermons/speeches/affirmations years ago and they really blessed me, got me through divorce, and grew me!!! This is the first I have watched her in a while and once again I am beyond impressed. She looks even more beautiful and well put together, she spits BARS, and soooo much WISDOM!!!!🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️

This is my chapter & I’m looking forward to finding my person who can match my zeal for love and life. It’s taking a lot of introspection & recalibrating 🙏🏽🥂

Women, and Men need Cindy Trimm's supreme level of strength so that we ourselves can grow stronger in our immature or weakened places and prune our lives to health, self-preservation and abundance.

This is a pure blessing in my life right now. In the past I felt guilty if someone asked me for help. Then it left me with nothing for me

"I know where I end and where they begin" is powerful. It's a set boundary for life where if set to default, people can't over lap their wants and needs to surpass your own. Such an amazing interview and so many nuggets of wisdom .
