Hiya, loving your videos 😊 Do you have any videos or advice on technique on creating a round bezel like this but instead of adding a piece of paper or foil, adding some mica powder with resin and then adding the glass after?
Hello Kelly, thanks for your video! I made pendants with the glass dome long time ago and do not understand why you are using the resin for this process. According with my experience, this is much more expensive and much longer lasting process. You just have to glue the glass dome to the paper or any other material and be sure that is no bubbles and then cut this class cabochon with the scissors and then glue to the pendant blank. It would be faster and guaranteed with no bubbles. Except, you want to make pendant extra water resistant, which is not really necessary.
Lovely Kelli thanks for sharing. Question: I too love the glass cabochons and have recently used alcohol ink to stain them. I want to attach them to a metal outdoor sculpture but I'm struggling with what to use to protect the finish and attach them to the sculpture. Seems everything interacts with the alcohol ink destroying the finish. Thank you in advance for any help you could provide.
I really appreciate your clear and easy to understand tutorial.
Thank you for this video. I wish I had watched it before.
Glad it was helpful!
Great technique 🖌
Thanks @Andrea Harutunian!
Thank you for the video 😎

Hey! Great tutorial. Are these pendants waterproof? I am looking to make some waterproof necklaces.
They should be if they are sealed 100%!

Hi Kellie,
Once you have finished putting the resin in the bezel, how long before dropping on the cabochon please?
I was looking to see if you have an online shop, as I'd like to know how much you'd sell these for, please?
They're really pretty.

What kind of paper did you say you used for the 2nd pendant?
Two questions for you. Why the use of UV spray and why are you putting resin if you’re covering with glass?
Where can I find your video on the foil technique? I didn't see it in your list of videos
Thanks Kellie, do you get those nice bezels at Hobby Lobby or have a link?
Does the glass have a flat back, or is it a dome?
Can UV resin be used?
What's the me of the paper you are using please I am starting to do.this
