What an exciting time. We usually call into the Netherlands every time we are in that part of the world. Haven't been for over 7 years, but we were right there on your launch. We were on the DFDS North Sea ferry at IJmuiden.

Good question Fabule... We are planning a Norwegian cruise this summer hopefully heading on north to Svalbard. We'll see about future plans north after this summer
Hey Paul & Sheryl...! thank you so much for this special splash vid... with the cruising notables at the Christening I would be disappointed if they were not a little bit envious... Really looking forward to more DSIV vid... Un question: I know you have the Diesel/electric hybrid (Cudos)... Seeing the engine keys I see it the Diesel is a Yanmar (the reason I have electric now)... Will you have to use DEF...? And, if so where will the DEF liquid be stored onboard...? Also, do you plan to motor sail and implement the electric regen...? I would really like to see someday a vid on the special propulsion and the special advantages... Fair Winds...
Thanks for your kind words @geezenslaw Yes we also are looking forward to making videos on the hybrid system. It does have regeneration capacity which we are very interested in testing offshore with our Bruntons Autoprop. All together we have high hopes that the hybrid will cut down quite a lot on our diesel use! We'll definitely make videos featuring the system.

You've inspired others. OLC are building an aluminum boat. Delos are making plans for an aluminum catamaran. The ability to venture to a different type of location. Also a special type of maintenance vs wood or fibreglass or carbon.

I can’t wait for all the ventures did you have I’d like absolutely love sailing and unfortunately I lost a leg in a truck accident in 2018 makes it very hard to get around anyway enjoy probably needs a few more bits and pieces and the rigging in the sales and why are you go Cliff from Australia, hopefully one day will see you both in Australia

I was pleasantly surprised that the boat was built in the Netherlands.
