Have an Etude that you want to play, listen to different recordings of the Etude, practice it until you feel it’s performance ready! It’s okay to take multiple recordings, but don’t only record an Etude for the whole practice session (it took me a few days to record some of my etudes because I have other goals to accomplish in my practice sessions).
