I really appreciate the feedback. Let me know how it goes once you pitch your product and if you use any of the information! Knock 'em dead in your next presentation.
Your video ,knowledge, and ability to relay this information to people like myself who want to learn about POG is 👌. Your very informative with great teaching skills.
This is absolutely well taught. It's easy to understand and implement. Thank you! May i ask what Planogram software can be used as a retailer who is also a stockist?
I am so glad to hear it was helpful to watch! I do not know what software is the best for this. I do not own a retail shop - I sell to retail. I am sorry I don't know. I'll research and see if I can learn what my colleagues and friends recommend.
Thanks for the support Roz. If you have any other specific questions you want us to answer we will be sure to read them and use it to guide future content. We have a long list of topics to cover and we're slowly but surely working on it
Hi Shan Bro - I bet you have an idea of my answer before I even say it outloud... ;) Of course you do NOT need a CDT before you start your planogram... but why would you want to do that?! Making a CDT is how you think through your customers decision making and how you plan to strategically to place your products so customers can find and buy them. Your CDT helps you to be smart about HOW TO SELL MORE! I know it can be intimidating - but if you commit a 3 hours to writing it out (even doing it just one time through) you will find you will make more informed decisions and help customers to shop easier... and buy more! Good luck with it and keep me posted!
Hi Annette: Thanks for your comment - do you mind if I ask, are you a retailer who wants to create an in-store planogram OR are you a product seller who wants to make mock-ups of planograms to improve your sales pitch. If you're a retailer you should hire a great graphic designer with experience to make these mock-ups. It's easy but just takes the right person. If you want a software subscription it depends on the size of your store. They can be expensive. You can reply back here OR email me at emily@emilyannepage.com and I will send you suggestions based on your reply. Best of luck on your planogramming this year! Please come back and let us know what one you buy. -Emily
I need more clarity on the 4 metrics used to measure sales velocity. 1. # Opportunities, does that mean Open/ Active Opportunities for a particular period? 2. Avg deal size, is it for all Open Opportunities or only won Opportunities or open+won+lost? for a particular period. 3. Win rate, is it won/ won+lost or won/ won+lost+open? 4. avg sales cycle, is it for only open Opportunities or won Opportunities or all Opportunities?
Hi Marlon. Thank you so much for leaving a comment. Im really glad you found this helpful. Would you mind explaining what you mean family and subfamily? Do you mean CATEGORY in a grocery store? Or do you mean PRODUCT LINE EXTENSIONS in your own brand?
Hi. Thank you for explaining all of this. It makes a lot of sense. If I could just say a little something, you suck your teeth a lot and you say I’m an awful lot. I know this video was 4 years ago, I hope you’ve worked on that. It sounds like you know what you’re talking about but at the same time the sucking teeth and ums makes it hard to believe you know what you are talking about. I appreciate the info. Good luck with everything.
Hi! Ops that was a mistake! 1) Modern Chinese texts are read left to right, top to bottom, just like English. But note that the ancient Chinese texts were written in columns, right to left. 2) The cultures that still read left to right are Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi. Also some Taiwanese and Japanese writing is still this way. 3) Also here is an article that describes a study of people from cultures who read different directions - they find that those people tend to illustrate spacial illustrations in different orders. Meaning Left to Right readers illustrate "passing of time" moving Left to Right COMPARED to Right to Left readers illustrating: www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2012.00109/full I don't claim to be a scientist but it's interesting to consider if effective retail planogram layouts or packaging design elements could be different in different cultures based on elements like reading or even other cultural trends. What do you think? Have you ever heard that before - that ancient Chinese was once "Right to Left, Top to Bottom?"
@@STARTtoSOLD i know chinese characters can be written and read top to bottom or right to left 👍 ... it is d next line of characters than can be to d bottom or left or right of d previous line ... so .... worda can be read top to btm or rt to left only .. but d lines can be read top 2 btm , rt 2 left or left to rt ❤️
Thanks for watching!

Hi ! What do think, if putting some types of same product for example Lay's , is impossible and out of planogram, what can we do?
Hi, is there any automation technique in JDA space planning software where we can Add or Delete an item simultaneously from multiple planograms?
Hi I haven't used this software before - I apologize but I dont know the answer.
I wonder if anyone else watching would know?
