Used to be a LFC fan till 7th grade. My friend was a United supported and we betted on the English Classic. If United win, I switch and vice versa. United won (3-0 in 2008 at Old Trafford) and I've been stuck here ever since. The English club of my heart is Newcastle but GUESS I have to stay with my wife and call NUFC the one that got a way. Unless a CERTAIN Newcastle supporter wants to bet on the next MU v NU...
EDIT: I support teams in different countries (Real, Schalke, Inter, United, Ferne, PSV) cause I'm from South Africa. Our biggest club (my club, Sundowns) has won just one African CL. You have every right to be a NUFC supporter.

Listen, as a Luton Town fan from the states as of 2010, I got pulled into supporting them through family friends we had in Bedfordshire. The youngest of the group, who is just a few months younger then myself, told me about their story and the immense point deductions, I couldn’t help but make them my second team behind my local Seattle Sounders.
I didn’t get to watch any games of theirs for a bit until their FA Cup run in 2012, and watched them beat Norwich… I was committed from then on 100%.

In that case it would be good for your health to start watching a completely different league alongside the Prem, it's good to have some variety, you don't even have to choose your favourite team. It gives you a whole new perspective on football, trust me. Besides, those other leagues are awesome in their own right

@@BigSmokeMUFC You missed the point. There are many types of pain in football. Personally I think long standing Everton fans have it the worst, for the reasons Irish Guy mentioned. There are also teams like Bristol City and Preston North End, which enter every season knowing they have nothing to play for, or to a certain extent Crystal Palace. I don't think there's a single club in the Premier League that is stuck on pause as much as them. They have no hope for Europe and not any big fear of relegation, but I think deep down the fans know it's thanks to a couple of players that they have, and all they can do is wait until Eze and Olise get sold and Palace get relegated. But at least if you support a yoyo club you can always look forward to winning some games in the lower leagues. As for United, it's the fall from grace, but not only that. A lack of effort from the players, disappointing results, the owners who only care about money and a lack of hope that it will ever get better. Even those who expect nothing will still end up let down

    I'm a Tottenham fan,
I grew up like most an Irish kid supporting United. So when I was able travel I obviously really wanted to go to a match at Old Trafford. Until I saw the price of tickets and decided that it could wait. But that weekend I was going to be in England and wanted to go to a match so I decided I'd see a London team because it would be easy. So as a United fan I defently wasn't going to go to a Arsenal or Chelsea. So that Weekend the two London teams that had home matches were Spurs and West Ham. So I flipped a coin it landed on Spurs. I went had the time of me life at White Heart and have been fallowing them sense. Also made me not a West ham fan but I definitely wish them better than most teams.

I'm Chinese, a friend of mine in senior high supports Brentford. He watches every game of Bees, cheering for Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo along with making Yoane Wissa/Neil Maupay references. I'll go to UK for postgraduate degree this summer so he asked me to bring a jersey of the Bees. I've seen smaller clubs supporters in China (in real life) like Crystal Palace, Brighton and Borussia Monchengladbach (maybe it's not that small but it's really rare here). But this guy surely is the wackiest.
